Socialists’ General Strike. May Day 2020: DON’T WORK!

50

It would really be a beautiful thing if on May Day workers in America went to their jobs demanding to go back to work. Now that would be historic and ironical. But alas, it’s not to be. Leftists never want to work but they never tire of chaos in the cause of not working and anarchy.

Tomorrow is May Day 2020. A favorite of the Communist insurgents. But, how will they manage their yearly protests since the tyrannical Governor CUOMO  has shut down our once vibrant city?

What I have managed to cull so far is a National STRIKE against WORKING and paying rent (which is an issue of import for everyone …since none but a few ESSENTIALS are allowed to earn an income)

Story continues below advertisement

So, for the curious, the latest info from the Socialist / Marxist left who never cease to work the proletariat towards the next uprising.

“This is the launch video for General Strike 2020. We are working to unite the working class by showing individuals the path to organization and getting those organizations working together.” genstrike.org

https://youtu.be/4H2R2h82HvM

FYI: YOU TUBE leaves this video up. Socialism apparently does not violate their community standards.

The ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic is exposing critical flaws in the institutions we rely on for our daily lives. The wealthiest nations in the world are failing to protect citizens from this deadly disease, shamelessly neglecting the needs of the people. In the USA, too little is being done too late to protect us from the disease. Countless working poor people are having to go to work with symptoms because we can’t afford to take time off.

The federal government has been slow to respond, and the stimulus packages they have cobbled together are woefully inadequate to protect the most vulnerable members of our society.

President Trump and capitalists across the country are expressing interest in workers going back to their jobs even before the pandemic is safely dealt with, callously proving that they put their own profits ahead of the lives and well being of the working class.

This situation is, quite simply, unsustainable.

People are dying, and the wealthy elites are demonstrating that they value their profits more than our lives.

We welcome all exploited members of society: workers, the disabled, LGBTQ+, indigenous people, the neuro divergent, the mentally ill, and anyone else who is suffering without adequate relief through this pandemic.”  genstrike.org

Our rallying cry: “DO NOT ACT ALONE.”

Now, on to the Rent Strike.

“…. there’s a possibility that some strikers will be evicted once New York’s moratorium is lifted in late June.

The strikers are demanding that New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo cancel rent and mortgage payments for four months or the duration of the coronavirus pandemic, whichever is longer. That would be a significant escalation from the state’s current solution: a moratorium on evictions, which is set to end June 20. And it’s a recognition that the economy could remain in crisis for years.”

If the CITY doesn’t ease the TAXATION of the landlords, they will take it out on the tenants. And  who will they rent to, after these WRONGFUL evictions?

“On Monday, the strikers got a high-profile supporter: “People can’t pay,” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the progressive Democrat from the Bronx, who is co-sponsoring a national bill to cancel rent … ” [Vice]

“In this upside down world, many workers will ask, “Why have I for decades been giving the landlord half my paycheck every week? It’s almost feudal.” This is capitalism in the twenty-first century.

We need a nationwide rent strike on May 1 not only to take urgent action in this crisis, but also to build the fight for a socialist world.”

  • Can’t pay! Won’t pay! For a nationwide mass rent strike on May 1
  • A complete national moratorium on all evictions and foreclosure proceedings nationally
  • End all rent and mortgage payments during the crisis
  • No rent increases during 2020!
  • Support Sanders call to pay all laid off workers their full wages
  • All workers without paid work should be eligible for monthly federal payments equivalent to a living wage of $15 an hour or $600 per week.
  • Bring the properties of the top 50 corporate landlords into democratic public ownership
  • For a massive national program to build publicly-owned, high quality social housing as part of the country’s reconstruction plan

“We are working to unite workers from across the USA and around the world to stand up and fight for our own lives—from the safety of our own homes.

General Strike 2020 is calling for all workers to remain sheltered in place in accordance with current medical guidance. Additionally, we are calling for workers to participate in nationwide strikes: rent strikes, debt strikes, and labor strikes.”

We are also asking participants to hang white sheets or towels outside of their homes as a sign of solidarity.

… we are asking you to organize, participate in, and support rent strikes, tenants’ unions, and movements for a rent freeze in your local community and beyond. United in solidarity, we’ll show the elite class, landlords, and real estate developers that we will not accept the devastation of our communities in the name of short-term profit.

The insanity. The chaos. This meltdown of our city – is music to the Marxist/Socialist ears.

“…. hang white sheets or towels outside of their homes as a sign of solidarity ….”

Guess we’ll know who the Socialist/Marxist tools are.

May Day is a March for Communism
https://freedomoutpost.com/may-day-is-a-march-for-communism/
“It dates from the 1904 International Socialist Conference in Amsterdam… Around the world, May Day is an opportunity for various socialist, communist, and anarchist groups to demonstrate against their governments. In the People’s Republic of China, North Korea, Cuba, and other similar governments, May Day is a huge workforce parade with soldiers and military equipment while the dear leader salutes and inspects them proudly. Nobody is present there by their own choice.”

Democrats are the US political power of a foreign enemy. Democrats have been setting us against each other and against their enemies for a century so we don’t focus on them. They are a treasonous and illegitimate political party that has been robbing and murdering us right in front of our faces. When they are finally exposed as the mass murdering traitors that they are, they won’t be safe anywhere on our soil. May they meet the end they deserve, and may their foreign masters meet a worse end at the hands of the populations across the Atlantic.

If you want to start at FDR(the S0cialist)Take a look at our public education down thru the years,to present. That alone would validate your claim”americans” are dumb”. We have been dumbed down by a Successful Socialist effort. However,we are generous to a fault, helpful to those in need, and trusting. So, we get taken advantage of. Even by those sworn to represent us and protect us. Our ancestors came from all over the world, seeking a better life. Were they dumb too ? It`s to bad, there isn`t some kind of a test that would identify a future Socialist,Communist,Napoleon wanna be,Hitler,Marx,Mao,Che, etc.,etc..If there were, what would we do about it ? Still maintaining at least the illusion of freedom, like we have now.

Turkey: Privatize the schools. Would I eat in a socialist restaurant? No. Why go to a socialist school system? There are dozens of private teaching organizations that should be allowed to bid on teaching contracts. If they don’t do well, they can be replaced, unlike the unionized public school system. If private medical clinics work, then so can privatized schools. Of course they need quality standards and inspections, just like medical clinics.

My wife teaches in a Private Christian School. She even has Public Sch. parents bringing their kids for tutoring during the summer, now & then. They know they aren`t getting educated, otherwise. Trouble for many who`d otherwise, use the private schools is money.Several local churches support ours& tuition is cheap.(roughly $2000/child). Public school cost/child ranges from $8000 & up/child and for what ? A kid who graduates as a functioning illiterate, hates our country. And they are going to vote.

Yes the commies always targeted schools and colleges. It was part of their USSR-provided ‘to-do’ list. My idea is to privatize WITHIN the tax structure, so public schools are run by private contractors, who are paid by the government. But the educators must bid for contracts, beat out competitors, provide better value, and show tangible evidence of excellent education. Otherwise, their competitors get the contract next time.

well, what I learned is that however small the Governments financial support of Public Schools is, They, the Government want total control. That`s how it works now. The Dept. of Education should be abolished. Education should be the responsibility of the States and parents. Not the Government. It worked in the 50`s,but socialism was already creeping in. Phonics was in the beginning stages of the “look say” method, and finally outlawed when Billy boy Clinton signed into law, ‘Goals 2000’,and it`s companion Hr 6 . Some idiot named Spady, cavorting around the country saying children need to know where to find information&teachers were no longer teachers but facilitators. Sooo, lets all go to the library where y`all can find information. Never mind you can`t read words you haven`t memorized. Here we are kiddies, and this gay person will read you a story. I can think of nothing positive to say regarding Public School. Nothing !

“The Dept. of Education should be abolished.” Good point. We don’ have socialized medicine, and that works, so why do we need socialized education? Especially when it works so poorly.

And, the one that followed. In kindergarten, my “teacher” asked if anyone knew who was president before Eisenhower (current president) I raised my hand. I was called on. I answered, “Hairy-ass Truman”. Said “teacher” grabbed me by my ear (right side, I believe) dragged me to the in-room sink and washed my mouth out with soap.

I had no idea what I had done wrong. That’s how I had always heard him, referred to, at home.

And remember the “D” in fdr stands for “Demonspawn”.

the “D” stands for delanpo. his grandpa delano made his fortune running opium into china in violation of chinese law, as part of an english-american drug cartel that created the clipper ships so they could run opium in and tea out. FDR’s money was made by killing millions of chinese with drugs

Roma: Yes, the Ruble was hit hard by the massive oil price decline. Putin is hiding the Covid-19 crisis, but it will soon be impossible to ignore, as Russian infection rates skyrocket. That new Prime Minister just said he has Covid-19. Putin thought that the adventures in Georgia, Ukraine/ Crimea, Syria, and propping up Iran and Venezuela would not matter, but they all matter. Putin can’t just order the economy to revive, free enterprise must be able to prosper there. But it can’t, economic liberties are very restricted in Russia.

Hard to believe but Obama had OUR NAVY respect the disposal of Osama Bin Laden’s dead body. OBL didn’t die at sea either…. They should have left his body on land where he died and let it rot. Obama never missed an opportunity to humiliate our military.

It is interesting to note that when the council convened about the raid, Biden voted against it.

OBL was buried at sea to prevent his body being made into a shrine of some sort.

New York mayor calls for end of private property
By Michael Goodwin September 5, 2017

“Our legal system is structured to favor private property,” he said, insisting that “people would like to have the city government be able to determine which building goes where, how high it will be, who gets to live in it, what the rent will be.”

For good measure, he added: “If I had my druthers, the city government would determine every single plot of land, how development would proceed. And there would be very stringent requirements around income levels and rents. That’s a world I’d love to see.”
