‘Huge Scandal’ of NY Cuomo Gov’t’s Role in Nursing Home Coronavirus Deaths

18

25 Percent to 50 Percent of ALL Coronavirus Deaths Have Been in Nursing Homes

The more we know, the more we see that it is glaringly obvious that current policy is wrong. We now know large portions of the population were infected with Coronavirus but were asymptomatic, so it’s far less deadly than was originally believed. The initial steps were correct because Coronavirus is a weird disease and it could have gone sideways. We had no way of knowing. But we know now. We know it is similar to the flu. The mortality rate is less than the flu, but Coronavirus can be deadly to the old (with co-morbidities) and those with compromised auto-immune systems.

What we see happening now in Democrat states is not about health. It’s political. It’s about control.

The fact that NY Governor Cuomo sent Corona-stricken seniors to nursing homes contributed to New York’s high death rate. Imagine if President Trump had instituted such a policy.

Mark Levin Explodes on ‘Huge Scandal’ of Cuomo Gov’t’s Role in Nursing Home Coronavirus Deaths

By Joe Saunders, Western Journalism, April 27, 2020:

Conservative radio host Mark Levin has been blowing the whistle for a while.

Now, more Americans are starting to listen.

In what is emerging as one of the biggest untold stories of the coronavirus crisis, the media is starting to pay attention to the fact that the carnage of COVID-19 in nursing homes in New York state not only took place on Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s watch but was actually facilitated by an order from his state government.

As the New York Post’s Michael Goodwin recounted in a column published Sunday, a March 25 directive by the New York Department of Health essentially ordered nursing homes in the Empire State to accept patients carrying the coronavirus — bringing carriers of the potentially deadly organism into proximity with those most vulnerable to being killed by it.

And the results were inevitable.

Nursing home deaths from the coronavirus are a national problem, as The New York Times reported on Friday. Nursing homes and rehabilitation centers nationally accounted for about 10,500 fatalities attributed to the coronavirus — about a quarter of all coronavirus deaths.

However, it’s in New York that Cuomo was being touted as the Democratic answer to President Donald Trump’s daily coronavirus briefings.

In New York state, Goodwin reported, 3,500 victims died in nursing homes or rehabilitation centers — about 25 percent of the state’s coronavirus deaths.

“There is no way to know exactly how many died as a result of the state order, but the number is certainly not zero,” Goodwin wrote. “The cause and effect relationship is obvious.”

Obvious to everyone, apparently, except those in charge of regulating nursing homes at the state government level.

Back on March 26, a day after the order from Cuomo’s government, Levin took a phone call from a woman identified as being from New Rochelle, New York, alerting him to the nursing home directive.

Levin was aghast.

“Why would you send someone who has this virus into a population that can kill people?” Levin asked.

It’s an excellent question – and one the mainstream media will have no interest in pursuing, since it’s so enamored of Cuomo that he has been talked up as a possible replacement for former Vice President Joe Biden as the 2020 Democratic presidential nominee.

Now, one month and thousands of deaths later, the issue is finally getting attention – and not the kind that will please the Andrew Cuomo Fan Club.

This was intentional. It was known at the time, the infirmed and health compromised were at a higher risk. How sad for the families and even sadder for the elderly that had no one to advocate for them.
Cuomo is another evil communist. Life never has value to them – the old or the young (infanticide)
are easily expendable. They are considered none contributors, taking up space, money and care others should have. The media will find a way to blame Trump for it, if they bother to report on it.

“elderly that had no one to advocate for them….”

As you are aware, Felix…..I am sitting in TN trying to get justice for my Dad who was “abused and neglected” to the point of “homicide” by family members. First the “authorities” failed and refused to rescue him; no matter what authority I and my other siblings went to. Then when he died under their custody….we have fought now for three years to get them arrested.

And my Dad is not the only one….it is very dangerous here in TN for the elderly….they are being “picked off ” by greedy family and others. Law enforcement and politicians turn a blind eye.

These stories out of New York is not surprising to me at all…..sadly.

Could have put them in quarantine on those hospital ships.

Or the near empty field hospitals set up. This was a deliberate act, no way they could not have been aware of the result.

Ugly thought, but considering Californication is 1 trillion dollars short of meeting their pension obligations an interesting motivation.

Illinois’s pension system is also broke. Notice that most states looking for bailouts are blue states.

THEY ARE ALL RUN BY DEMOCRATS.
When in God’s name do these voters ever wake up?!

They never wake up. I have relatives that are like this. It is so frustrating. It is literally like talking to a wall.

…sort of like Germany under Hitler….same people, different era.

…which was the whole reason that President Trump moved “heaven and earth” to get the ship to them. By Cuomo not utilizing it….it is the same as spitting in the face of our President……and he caused the death of a lot of elderly that didn’t have to happen.

I pray the people of NY remember this on election day.

On top of Democrat incompetence like Cuomo’s,
just imagine if the gov’t listened to Biden and kept the “borders” open to China and Europe, to allow “economic intercourse”.

it would be like the Black Death.

Cuomo’s inaction or more so, deeming his evil intent, as murder en masse, Governor Cuomo, of course, will not face any criticism by his Democratic Party or acolytes. He, like his brother, CNN’S Chris, deem themselves above the law. It seems both suffer from an inherent flaw; both have no moral compass. Then again, being unethical is a prerequisite for becoming a Democrat. Hitler’s T-4 doctrine led to the mass murder of the elderly, and those judged infirm physically or psychologically. Cuomo had options, the navy’s ships meant to ease the congestion, tin of sardine-like suffering, and spreading of the virus for the elderly. Governor Cuomo unconscionably refused; thus, thousands perished by COVID-19.

More disturbing, the spurious, so-called media continues its biases by which they attack Trump and those of his coronavirus counsel. Meanwhile, the self-aggrandizing Governor of New York State continues sanctioning the elderly to a death sentence.

They could film Cuomo smothering a sick grandma with a pillow in her Covid 19 sick-bed and he’d still walk away scot-free to continue his reign of oppression and corruption.

‘Huge Scandal’ of NY Cuomo Gov’t’s Role in Nursing Home Coronavirus Deaths’

The only upside to this story….Cuomo is not likely to run for President….he has so much baggage now after all the virus incompetence and corruption….if he did run, President Trump would not have to work very hard to discredit him.
