Despite huge contribution to Corona fight, media MOCKS ‘My Pillow Guy’ Mike Lindell for invoking G-d and bible, but what if he invoked Allah and Quran

32

During remarks he gave at White House coronavirus task force briefing from the Rose Garden  MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell called on Americans to read the Bible and find God during quarantine.

“God gave us grace on Nov. 8, 2016 to change the course we were on,” Lindell said, referring to the day Trump won office. “God had been taken out of our schools and lives, a nation had turned its back on God.

“I encourage you to use this time at home to get back in the word, read our Bibles and spend time with our families,” he added before touting low unemployment and a roaring economy under Trump.

Story continues below advertisement

“With our great president, vice president, the administration and all the great people in this country praying daily, we will get through this and get back to a place that’s stronger and safer than ever,” he finished.

Needless to say, the media mocking was wildly off the charts despite Lindell’s massive contribution in re-purposing his factories to make medical supplies for the corona fight.

Imagine if he invoked Allah and the qur’an. Lindell would have been the new king-caliph. He’d have been feted and fawned over. He would have been the new media darling.

Mainstream media mocks White House appearance of ‘My Pillow Guy’ Mike Lindell despite contribution to virus fight

By Joseph A. Wulfsohn | Fox News | March 31, 2020:

MyPillow founder responds to media critique of his faith-based speech

MyPillow founder Mike Lindell explains why he told people to pray during their time in isolation amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Several members of the media were quick to dismiss the presence of “My Pillow” founder Mike Lindell at the White House coronavirus press briefing despite his company’s ongoing contribution to combating the outbreak.

Lindell, who was among several business leaders who spoke at Monday’s presser, announced that his company is aiming to increase its production of cotton face masks from 10,000 to 50,000 per day.

He also said a prayer and encouraged the country to dedicate time to their families and religion.

“God gave us grace on November 8, 2016, to change the course we were on,” the pro-Trump businessman said. “God had been taken out of our schools and lives, a nation had turned its back on God. I encourage you to use this time at home to get back in the word. Read our Bible and spend time with our families.”

However, critics from various news outlets mocked Lindell’s appearance at the Rose Garden.

“Trump just called the ‘My Pillow’ guy up to the podium in the Rose Garden. You cannot make this stuff up,” MSNBC anchor Ali Velshi reacted.

“Morning Joe” co-host Mika Brzezinski tweeted, “Is that the my pillow guy?? Do I need to turn the volume up. I was waiting for the doctors.”

“The ‘My Pillow Guy’ was at the Corona Virus briefing today? Boy oh boy, do we need SNL this Saturday. If this had been a SNL skit we would have thought it was fake, right? You can’t make this s— up. Who is going to play the ‘my pillow guy’?” Miami Herold reporter Julie K. Brown asked.

“Well, imagine my relief that the My Pillow guy is on the job,” NeverTrump commentator Tom Nichols quipped.

“Trump now has the guy from My Pillow doing a campaign commercial for Trump’s 2020 campaign in the middle of a press conference about a deadly virus. How can any real news network air this BS?! #StopAiringTrump” Daily Beast and CNN opinion columnist Dean Obeidallah wrote.

“Look, it’s hard to fill up 90 minutes worth of material every single day, so you need to get some sponsored material/infomercials,” New York Magazine writer Jonathan Chait joked.

What should offend everyone is any human claiming to speak on behalf of the Creator of the universe or that he or she has his special “book” or message and that the rest of us must blindly follow this human.

If there’s a God he should be speaking for himself, as that’s never happened, then it’s safe to assume he DGAF about us, or he’s not real. Anyone claiming to talk for God is a liar, fraudster and con-artist and he should be vilified, whatever their faith.

That’s the good thing about the US, separation of church/state. You go believe in any magic fairies you want in your own private life that’s what Freedom of Religion means. Just don’t go shoving your lunatic beliefs on the rest of us, most importantly, it should also be kept out of govt.

Would Christians want to be ruled by Muslims and have Islam rammed down their throats? Well that’s how Atheists and people of other faiths feel about Christians.

I’m sure that’s something all of us non-Muslims can agree on.

My response to the guy who just deleted his comment:

Any Atheist that sides with Islam is a moron and a traitor. That also goes for Christians (like the Pope) and any other belief system.

I’ve seen Sikhs defend Islam for example, even though Muslims killed millions of them. It’s a lack of education.

Please understand, I am not trying to harass you. I just want you to reconsider. I would never force this on anyone under any circumstances. If someone doesn’t willingly accept this it is pointless, Who needs a robot? God doesn’t want robots either!

What political party specializes in this? Yes, toss in some RINOS too! Just give it some thought. People here care about YOU!

Enough from me.

Proverbs 6:16-19
16 There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him:
17 haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
18 a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil,
19 a false witness who breathes out lies,

No one atheist supported the Christians who were imprisoned on spurious charges for protesting islamic hegemony in Dearbornistan, Michigan they were too busy superciliously deprecating them.

If you were God, wouldn’t you be angry at what is going on in our country? Infanticide, elevating criminals and evil people, lying, graft, LBGTQ+ and kicking Him out of our schools that teach the OPPOSITE?

Think of it this way, if you are a parent, don’t you punish a child for doing something wrong? He’s trying to get our attention to stop it. When a child insists on doing what is wrong, don’t you UP the punishment? Don’t you see the correlation to any country or empire that becomes vile being destroyed when they insist on violating His teachings? Look at Rome.

We use these as themes in product/service marketing and behavior to admire. Don’t you see the pattern? It’s repackages evil and markets it to the masses.comment image

Personally, I’m not concerned about what he said. It could apply to anyone of any faith. If an atheist found it offensive, that is their problem. It wasn’t hateful or threatening to anyone. It was he opinion and if you don’t like it, don’t listen or simply ignore it – much like liberals and the press ignores muslims in mosques attacking and threatening non-muslims.

More important is what he is doing to help the country and how he essentially turned his production over to making masks for everyone, and is probably eating the cost himself.

If someone is extending a hand to save you from drowning, do you question that person’s beliefs? Would an atheist refuse help from a non-atheist?

So one group is going to be ‘in charge’. You obviously don’t want Christians to be that group and by your moniker, its a safe bet you don’t want Islam neither, but its ok if its Atheists.

You believe then that on one level at least there is a distinction between the theology of ‘religion’ and the ideology of Atheism? And if asked, you are going to say that ‘science’ is the proof, the stamp of approval for an evolution based theory of existence, yet it can’t even get past step 1. A Christian could just as easily say to the Atheist, “Go make life in one of your billion dollar laboratories and perhaps then we could talk, but until then, don’t go shoving your lunatic beliefs on the rest of us”. You’re so arrogant that you don’t realize that you have your own brand of magic fairies.

Can we assume that your critique of Christianity is an educated one. Perhaps then you could account for the 1800+ prophecies of the Bible that have never been wrong. Intricate, time restricted prophecies that span hundreds, even over a thousand years. The men who penned them credited God with inspiring them. Is this not an instance of God speaking? If not Him, who?

I talk to God every day. So…in your mind you want to send me away to some funny farm. Because I don’t believe like you. Hmmmm seems I think of history others felt that way which cost millions upon millions of lives. You proclaim to be an Atheist. You don’t believe in God. Then way do you hate HIM and the people who do so much? You must be afraid. It is sad to go though life hating this and that. So afraid of this and that, Mr. Lindell did not cross the line with your precious separation of church and state. He asked people to read their bible. Far from the government proclaiming a religion that YOU must join and adhere to. If you want to worship government then go ahead. I pity you. You have no depth of character and no faith. Not in God but in anything. The thing cowards are made of.

I watched Mike Lindell live at the press update. What he is doing is impressive and we have a new respect for him.

Those who complain about his presence have done what other to sour grape, insult, or mock? Have they taken their time to comment on what is being done or what everyone should be doing? Giving updates to those who didn’t watch because ☭NN, MSNBC, et cetera would not carry the White House coronavirus task force update, or would turn to their studio when something important or positive is said.

Its so easy for them to mock. Why don’t they go over to his factory and volunteer their time to help out his good cause. He is putting his money where his mouth is, unlike these arm chair critics. Even when there was no pandemic, Mike Lindell was putting his hand deep into his pocket to give to charities. How much do these “commentators and reporters” give?

The atheist enemedia also mocked the Christians who dared to expose islamic hegemony in Dearbornistan, Michigan and/or ignored the Christians who were locked up on spurious charges while daring to exercise their 1st amendment rights. This is why the atheist West is D-O-N-E. Atheists are full of bravado when they’re facing off against Christians but run away like frightened rabbits when it comes to standing up to muslums and islum.

So many emotions it stirs. We have lived our lives in this world such as it is, and even though I see the cesspool it has become and long for the promise of justice, the fruits of His forgiveness, and an end to corruption, I wonder at times how many of us are fully ready for His return. I have seen some who say on the one hand that they know it will happen, but on the other hand they want their children or grandchildren to have a chance at growing up. Its like, “Yes I want Him to return,… but not just yet”. Following (or proclaiming) God’s word without conviction …, what is that?

I believe that for the most part, God is removing man’s ‘choice’ more and more. I see the giving over of minds to believe the ridiculous. I see nations being given over to invasion by vile silent armies. I see governments responding to increasing secularism by instituting wicked policies, and Christians too weak to oppose it.

I know by God’s grace what the prophecies tell us, and I have no doubt that they are proclaiming with the sound like that of a roaring lion that His return is at the door. I hope and pray that many will listen. The window opening will soon narrow. Maranatha

Reality check:
No one should be invoking God and the Bible or Allah and the Koran in the fight against the coronavirus; the coronavirus pandemic is real; neither the Christian God nor Allah are, and both the Bible and the Koran are nothing more than works of fiction.
That Mike Lindell has contributed to the fight against the coronavirus is certainly commendable.
But invoking God (one of the worst, most threatening, mythical characters/villians in all fiction) and the Bible (a work of obvious fiction and horrors [see the book, Drunk With Blood; God’s Killings In The Bible by Steve Wells]) is unnecessary and a sign of delusion, delusion being a form of mental illness.
Such is proof positive of the second part of the title of Richard Hitchens’ book: god is not Great; How Religion Poisons Everything.comment image

I was so moved/proud of Mike I bought 2 more pillows right after he spoke. Best pillow ever. And by the way, Elizabeth Warren and many others in congress, including Piglosi have used the Bible and their “faith” many time. The difference here is he meant it, from the heart where as they use it to, like satan did/does Matthew 4 1-11.
