CIA agents reveal Bill Clinton stopped them killing bin Laden, signed bill making it illegal to take deadly action
“It’s hard to believe now, but back in the late ’90s, most of the Washington national security establishment — including President Clinton, the State Department, the Department of Defense — simply did not view Osama bin Laden and al Qaeda as a serious threat.”

Former CIA agents have said they were prevented from killing Osama Bin Laden in the build-up to 9/11 because of a bill signed by President Bill Clinton.
New documentary The Longest War details how the agency could have assassinated the head of Al Qaeda before September 11 when they had him cornered….
But their hands were tied because of the Memorandum of Notification enacted by President Clinton in August 1998 that meant deadly action was forbidden.
The agents and officials working in intelligence in the late 90s also say that Bin Laden wasn’t considered much of a threat.
‘The CIA had a so-called “lethal finding” [bill] that had been signed by President Clinton that said that we could engage in “lethal activity” against bin Laden, but the purpose of our attack against bin Laden couldn’t be to kill him,’ then-CIA station chief in Islamabad, Pakistan, Bob Grenier explains in the documentary that aired Sunday on Showtime.
A 9/11 Commission report states that it authorized the CIA to attack Bin Laden in other ways.
‘We were being asked to remove this threat to the United States essentially with one hand tied behind our backs,’ Grenier added in the documentary….
‘Our tribal contacts came to us and said, “Look, he’s in this location now. When he leaves, he’s going to have to go through this particular crossroads.” And so what they proposed was to bury a huge cache of explosives underneath those crossroads so that when his convoy came through they could simply blow it up,’ Grenier explained in the documentary. ‘And we said absolutely not. We were risking jail if we didn’t tell them that.’
The following day the language of the memorandum was upgraded so it was understood the CIA could kill bin Laden is there was no other option to capture him alive.
However decisions were made not to carry out numerous attacks on bin Laden’s camp in 1999 and 2000. The memorandum was also downgraded again in 1999 to ‘capture not kill’ language….

Just 10 hours before the September 11 attacks, Clinton admitted to an audience in Australia that he’s had opportunities to kill bin Laden.
‘I’m just saying, you know, if I were Osama bin Laden — he’s a very smart guy, I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about him — and I nearly got him once,’ Clinton told a small group of business leaders in Melbourne on September 10, 2001.
‘I nearly got him. And I could have killed him, but I would have to destroy a little town called Kandahar in Afghanistan and kill 300 innocent women and children, and then I would have been no better than him. And so I just didn’t do it.’…

Many Dems are traitors and pacifists, but they’re not alone. There are Conservatives here who would call you a warmonger, chickenhawk, etc. if you dare mention that we should kill terrorists groups and regimes, so the treason and cowardice is on both sides of the aisle but mostly on the Dems.
Let’s also not forget how Clinton stabbed his fellow Christians/Non-Muslims in the back when the Serbs were defending themselves from Muslim Jihads in Kosovo. The US under the Clintons came to rescue the jihadists and killed thousands of Christians.
Has anyone ever seen Muslims fight other Muslims to protect Christian/Atheist/Jewish minorities? This is what happens when people are stupid, and don’t educate themselves on Islam. They mistake their Muslim aggressors as the victims and the non-Muslim victims as the aggressors.
It’s even happening now all the time, when the media only discusses the fake Muslim victimization by Israel and India for example, while carefully omitting the decades and even centuries long history of pogroms, murders, riots, rapes and other persecution we non-Muslims experienced at the hands of Muslims.

Strange, as I recall from the time period Bin Laden denied having anything to do with 911 in several interviews. If you look at the evidence (invariably referred to as “conspiracy theory”) there was some technical aspects that technically and logistically went beyond the capabilities of al Qaeda. Much testimony was given by first responders which is by and large buried in the dark recesses of the web that indicate the operation was carried out by western agencies. Photos also exist. Seemingly the only ones that got a lasting benefit from 9/11 is western intelligence agencies. It was a false flag which resulted in the largest power grab rivaled only by the power grab happening right now. We’ll have to wait and see how this one plays out.

Which is why nothing touches them = problems are mysteriously “dealt with” or somehow just – seem to go away.

It was rumored long ago pre-9/11 that Clinton was playing golf when notified Bin Laden was in the sights for neutralizing. Bill, apparently, pooh-poohed it. More than likely he was in the Oval Office smoking one of his favorite dipped cigars. Nothing was mentioned thereafter, as the enablers quashed the rumor. I never, as did many others, felt it was a rumor.
Clinton is a maestro manipulator, he could charm the pants off of a bird… and much more. Thousands died unnecessarily for his ineptness, or whatever one wants to call it. The Democrats, now, align themselves with Jihad, with Communist China, and others of despotic intent. Bill Clinton typifies the faux-Democrats aspirations to turn America into a totalitarian state. They, the Party, loathe Joe and Joanne America, the hardworking everyday Americans who keep the nation on even keel. Autocratic elitism is their game.

This is really not surprising. But as a Republican, I am sick of the Bush family getting of scot free on this. W arranged for his friends, the relatives of bin Laden to flee to Saudi Arabia after the terroris attack – the implosion of the Trade Towers. Why isn’t he called in for questioning? No one else was allowed to fly at that time. He hides behind the giant “R”.

Clinton gives bin Laden a pass. Obama gives Iran a billion +. Hillary allows the sale of 20% of US uranium to Russia (and a week later the Clinton Foundation receives a $147 million donation from a Russian company).
Something about having a “(D)” after your name when it comes to enemies of the US.

In his “Through Our Enemies’ Eyes”, former CIA bin Laden Desk coordinator Michael Scheurer states than Clinton had multiple opportunities to take him out, once three times in a 36-hour period, and passed on every one of them.
Therein lies the blame for 9/11.

I thought this info was already known. I read Louie Freeh’s book, “My FBI” (I think it was called). Freeh was head of the FBI during the Clinton admin when the Kobar Heights were blown up. Clinton tasked Freeh with finding out who was responsible. The FBI determined that Iran was responsible. When Clinton was confronted with the evidence he poo pooed it. Freeh said Clinton would not even speak to him the last two yrs he was in the White House
