WATCH: CBS News Posts Fraudulent Video Of ICU Nurse Crying Over Poor Working Conditions

CBS News posted a video of a nurse who claimed she quit her job after being asked to work in a coronavirus ICU without a face mask.
“America is not prepared, and nurses are not being protected,” said the ICU nurse in the video. “I quit my job today. I went into work and I was assigned to a COVID patient on an ICU unit that has been converted to a designated COVID unit. None of the nurses are wearing masks.”
The video now appears to be inaccurate. Instead of verifying the legitimacy of the video, CBS added background music and captions to highlight a woman who lied about her workplace situation. The woman, who goes by Imaris on social media, has a prominent following on Instagram.
Prior to CBS picking up this video, Imaris posted on her public Facebook page that she has anxiety and bi-polar depression and had not been an employee at the hospital for over a year. She mentioned in her post that she was unsure if she was ready to return to her job.
Imaris also said the growing volume of information on coronavirus “triggers” her.
“The information overload can be hard for me to sift through as far as what is credible and what is not, it triggers me,” she wrote in a Facebook post.
Parroting the fraudulent video is 2020 Democratic contender Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt. who quote tweeted the video and called on the Department of Labor to issue emergency workplace standards.
“It is insane that our nurses are being forced to are for the sick without masks and respirators. The Department of Labor must immediately issue emergency workplace standards to protect our health workers, their families, and their patients,” Sanders said.
Nurses and medical workers are working tirelessly with inadequate protection gear, and they are the real heroes. For an Instagram “influencer” to deliberately misrepresent her career for the instant glorification of internet fame is sickening.

At some point the Federal Government is going to need to intercede against Big Media. We all love our G-d given freedom and our 1st Amendment rights. Not one of us with a brain loves the propaganda we are being fed by too many who ought to already have had their licenses pulled. I mean, c’mon. They used to censor comic books for GD sake. I believe in and support a free press, but reporting out right lies and slander should be censured and otherwise punishable. At a minimum liars should be fired and their handlers heavily fined fined! That would have put the leftist media out of business by now!

Imagine the absolute freakout when Johnnie Lib turns on his CNN with his Morning Joe only to find only a test pattern. Perhaps now isn’t exactly the time, just yet, but once the all clear is given, there will be a grave and long overdue reckoning with the CCP Mills disguised as “news” vendors operating against us in the land of the free. I don’t even think they understand exactly how much they are loathed by the public anymore. The FCC can’t put this off forever. They are doing real harm to the public regularly peddling their poison to dopes who’s only fault is believing their relentless agitation propaganda.

As others have reported, similar to this story, it appears this woman is totally fake. She hasn’t worked for quite a while and claims to be an Instagram “social media influencer” which means she doesn’t do anything. Since she freely claims to have anxiety and bi-polar disorder and depression and claims that she plans to drink wine due to stress before work, no hospital would employ her at all, let alone employ her as an ICU nurse. The comments she has made, as described in articles I’ve read make it pretty clear that this woman has never had any training whatsoever in bloodborne pathogens (required annually) or in use of PPE in healthcare environment. I will never believe that she is now or ever was an RN licensed anywhere…maybe she worked at one point for a few months as a nurse’s aide but that’s about it. People have attempted to verify that she has some type of medical education and she has not replied and nobody can find any supporting documentation. People have attempted to verify that she works in a hospital somewhere and she has not replied. And another thing…no nurse who actually works in an environment like an ICU has any “time” for news media interviews…they could care less. This story was totally fake.

The State Board of Nursing will verify licensing status with name and any other pertinent information that can be supplied.
