Tom Hanks thanks his helpers as he recovers from coronavirus

Coronavirus news the media isn’t reporting. Chet Hanks, Hanks and Wilson’s older son, also told fans not to worry.

“Yeah, it’s true, my parents got coronavirus. It’s crazy,” the 29-year-old actor wrote on Instagram last Thursday. “They both are fine, they’re not even that sick.”

(CNN)Tom Hanks has coronavirus and now, extra helping hands to get him through the hard times.
Hanks shared an update from Australia, where he and his wife, Rita Wilson, are both in isolation after testing positive for coronavirus.

The actor tweeted a photo on Sunday showing a stuffed kangaroo and koala watching over his vegemite-covered toast.

“Thanks to the Helpers,” Hanks tweeted. “Let’s take care of ourselves and each other.”

On Wednesday, the couple posted that they tested positive after exhibiting symptoms of tiredness, body aches, chills and slight fevers.

Warner Bros. confirmed the actor was in Australia doing pre-production work on a film about singer Elvis Presley. Hanks is set to play Presley’s manager, Colonel Tom Parker, in the film. Actor Austin Butler is playing Presley.

The star couple’s diagnosis forced Australia’s Nine Network to enact what it called a “crisis response plan,” as Wilson had visited the channel’s morning talk show “Today Extra” for an appearance with hosts David Campbell and Belinda Russell on Monday. The show airs on CNN’s affiliated Nine Network.

I am happy that this couple is okay, BUT………………………………….why does anyone really care? Just because they are Hollywood, does not mean they are THAT important, folks. COME ON, people. GET A LIFE! (I only read this article so I could say THAT!)

Tom Hanks is more concerned with getting out his press release and hour-by-hour updates on his and his wife’s condition, than “taking care of others.” Another Hollywood idiot clammering to stay relevant. How shameful, given the situation he is exploiting. No mention of other Corona virus victims in his self-centered message.
I’m sure we all can sleep a little better tonight knowing Tom and his wife are doing fine and that the Elvis movie is on track.

This Demonstrates the COVID-19 for most people is less dangerous than the annual flu. It may be advisable for the elderly and those with impaired immune system to self-isolate but of the rest of the population its really not any more dangerous than the ordinary flu and perphaps less.
