BLOWBACK: Mitt Romney flips on plot to betray Republicans (again) in vote against subpoena for Hunter Biden

56

The question is, do the Dems have compromising photos of Romney with a farm animal or is he just a complete POS? He was the sole Republican to sign on to the coup against the President, a case built on smears and lies. But when faced with real malfeasance by a corrupt, criminal Dem who used his position of power for his own nefarious ends, Romney works to help them cover it up.

My money is on farm animal.

Mitt Romney to betray Republicans again: hints at voting against subpoena for Hunter Biden

By: Staff Writer, Sara Carter, March 6, 2020:

Story continues below advertisement

“I would prefer that investigations are done by an independent, non-political body,” Sen. Mitt Romney, (R-UT), told the Washington Post.

Reuters reported last week that the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee would vote to approve a subpoena aimed at gathering information related to a former Ukrainian diplomat with ties to the consulting firm Blue Star Strategies. The allegation is that the company used Hunter Biden for access to the State Department, at the time Joe Biden was vice president.

“There’s no question but that the appearance of looking into Burisma and Hunter Biden appears political. And I think people are tired of these kinds of political investigations,” said Mitt Romney.

If the Republican Senator from Utah would vote Romney’s vote against the subpoena the result would be a 7-7 tie. Right now the Republicans maintain an 8-to-6 majority in the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.

Last month, Mitt Romney was the only Republican to vote to convict President Trump of abuse of power for his alleged pressure on Ukraine to investigate former vice president Joe Biden, his political opponent.

Romney seems to be one of that select group of influential people, the career professional politician.

Shame how he hasn’t cottoned on to the fact that DJT has rewitten the script for American politics by not being one of them but a businessman opposed to globalisation, and for the advancement of his own country and electorate while carying out his promise to drain the Washington swamp of its self serving pond life.

Romney seems to represent to most people what ticks them off most, a suit you cannot trust who believes the smelly proles don’t understand high politics. Bad news for him is they understand too well, and can’t be taken for mugs anymore. He just cannot stop digging, after all, it’s all he knows and is good at.

Romney’s adviser, Joseph Black, joined the board of Burisma, while Hunter Biden was also serving on the board. No surprise that Romney wants it blocked.
Black is also friends with John Kerry’s stepson, Chris Heinz, and mobster Whitey Bulger’s nephew, in a private equity firm, that allegedly appeared to be laundering millions of dollars in foreign money from China & the Ukraine, through Latvia, and back to the US.

Romney was just carrying out his master’s (George Soros) agenda. Romney is pretty high up on the list of plants that George’s PACs keep watering regularly. George Soros has a pretty big stake in the Ukrainian corruption too.

keep in mind, WE THE PEOPLE are PAYING these criminals to perpetrate crimes against their OATHEs, and this is not why WE THE PEOPLE elected these people to Office!!! Isn’t this one platform both Democrats and Republican VOTERS can agree on??? That when we elect someone to Office it is NOT so they can use that office to perpetrate crimes and line their own pockets but to SERVE US, the UNITED STATES CITIZENS? Who doesn’t believe in that? These shameless criminals need a reckoning, and a reckoning is coming soon, isn’t it MITT ROMNEY? YOU KNOW!!!

Wasn’t their “bailout” money somewhere around 1.2 Billion U.S. Yankee Greenback Dollars?

how about stacks of dead American soldiers and even more soldiers now missing limbs FOR WHAT? These are the people who put their stamp on a continual stream of blood flowing so they can keep and extreme flow of money coming their way via those who manufacture the instruments of WAR. It is not surprising they would all comply with one another to strike deals for their children to get wealthy at the expense of the American taxpayers…..where was the “Billion” dollars going to come from that Biden used to compel the Ukrainians to fire the investigating his son’s activities? That was OUR money, not Biden/Obama’s money! Shame upon them ALL!!! And if the others were not involved directly in the payoffs and corruption, SHAME upon them for not stopping them, they are complicit in the underlying crimes.

Yes, and he should have to repay, in fact ALL PUBLIC Servants should be forced to return ALL money they were paid in wages or salary while they were committing crimes and dereliction of duty while employed by the American People! If we do not demand this now, and as a law for the future, what message do we send to the next generation? That if you commit crimes while holding public office that you are above the law and immune from prosecution? This country will crumble apart if we do not uphold the law and apply it to each and every American citizen. Just because someone is elected to serve the People they should not be allowed to commit crimes, even more so, they should have 3x the sentence that would be applied to a private citizen for the same crime they commit while being PAID to do so.

John Kerry’s son cut business ties with Hunter Biden over Ukrainian oil deal
by Alana Goodman
August 27, 2019 06:30 AM

John Kerry’s stepson rushed to play damage control at the State Department after his business partner Hunter Biden cut a deal with an oligarch-owned Ukrainian gas company in 2014, according to internal State Department correspondence obtained by the Washington Examiner.

At the time, Hunter Biden, now 49, and Christopher Heinz, the stepson of then-Secretary of State John Kerry, co-owned Rosemont Seneca Partners, a $2.4 billion private equity firm. Heinz’s college roommate, Devon Archer, was managing partner in the firm. In the spring of 2014, Biden and Archer joined the board of Burisma Holdings, a Ukrainian gas company that was at the center of a U.K. money laundering probe. Over the next year, Burisma reportedly paid Biden and Archer’s companies over $3 million.

Hours after Biden’s board appointment went public on May 13, 2014, Heinz emailed Matt Summers and David Wade, two of his stepfather’s top aides at the State Department.

“Apparently Devon and Hunter both joined the board of Burisma and a press release went out today,” wrote Heinz. “I cant speak why they decided to, but there was no investment by our firm in their company.”

The email was obtained through a public information request filed by the conservative nonprofit group Citizens United. The organization said the email raises questions about why Heinz was in touch with the State Department about Biden’s business dealings.

“This email raises a lot of questions. Why would Chris Heinz distance himself from Hunter Biden’s decision to join Burisma’s board in an email to John Kerry’s senior staff at the State Department?” said Citizens United President David N. Bossie in a statement to the Washington Examiner. “It’s time for Joe Biden to answer questions about his family’s business in the Ukraine and what his own role was in those dealings.”

“These are questions that congressional oversight committees should be demanding answers to,” he added.

Heinz’s spokesperson told the Washington Examiner that he was not involved in the Burisma deal and has not been invested in Rosemont Seneca Partners since 2015.

“Chris Heinz was involved in Rosemont Capital. Through Rosemont Capital, Mr. Heinz owned a minority interest in Rosemont Seneca Partners until 2015,” said Heinz’s spokesperson Chris Bastardi. “Neither Mr. Heinz, nor any business in which he had an interest, was involved in Burisma.”

Heinz was troubled by his partners’ decision to join the Burisma board and immediately took steps to end his business relationship with Biden and Archer, according to a source familiar with the situation.

In 2014 and 2015, Burisma paid $3.4 million to a company called Rosemont Seneca Bohai LLC, according to the New York Times. That company paid Biden up to $50,000 a month, according to the report. During the same time period, Joe Biden pressured the Ukrainian government to fire its lead prosecutor who was investigating wrongdoing at Burisma, raising questions from critics about whether this was related to his son’s position at the gas company.

Biden stepped down from the Burisma board this year, before his father announced his presidential run. Archer was convicted for his role in an unrelated Ponzi scheme last November, but was recently granted a new trial.

No big surprise. Let me clue everyone in because not too many people seem to see the obvious; romney is a democrat with an identity crisis going on, he thinks he’s a republican. In fact, I think the only reason he ran as a republican is because if he ran as a dem he would have lost, and he’s miss out on all those lucrative back room deals allot of the crooks in DC take advantage of.

Since we now live in a time where everything is political, it is impossible to disentangle politics from any given situation. By Romney’s standard nothing could ever be investigated, especially since the process of selecting “an independent non-political body” is itself political in nature. The use of political connections for personal gain is the very issue being investigated.

He also sold us out who believed his (and many other Republican’s) LIES on everything from the World Trade Center demolition to the need to be in an EVERLASTING theater of war, Afghanistan being the training ground. Blood all over you and you’re cohorts Mr. Romney! Blood and SHAME! How many young American’s came home missing legs, arms, etc, or even life itself so you could line your pockets with Industrial War Complex money. No wonder you hate our President, Trump….he’s doing all the things Republicans PROMISED to do “someday” but never did anything but make war! You will find NO REST on the “other side” Mitt!!!
