Now that innumerable people (including MAGA) will die, because of his lies and inaction, I wonder if MAGA will recognize that 45 must be voted out?” Debra Messing said in a tweet on Tuesday, which included a deceptively edited video promoted by a group called Fellow Americans.

Messing, like other Hollywood elites and left-wing media members, is promoting the lie that President Trump called the coronavirus a “hoax.” The president used the word “hoax” at a campaign rally to describe the Democrats’ attempts to politicize the coronavirus.
Even songwriter Richard Marx, a vocal Trump critic, noted that “this narrative that he called the actual virus a hoax is patently false.”
No one is more repulsed by Trump than I (except for those subjected to seeing him naked) but this narrative that he called the actual virus a hoax is patently false. He said Dems’ claim he didn’t respond to it appropriately was a hoax. Turns out they were still right.

Sanofi says antimalarial drug chloroquine ‘promising’ on Covid-19 patients

Pharmaceutical firm Sanofi is ready to provide French authorities with millions of doses of anti-malarial medication it said could potentially treat up to 300,000 people after tests on coronavirus-infected patients proved “promising.”
“Sanofi undertakes to make its treatment available to France and to offer several million doses, which could make it possible to treat 300,000 patients,” a spokesperson for the French pharmaceutical told AFP.
Sanofi operates 73 industrial locations in 32 countries, including the USA.
Chloroquine is already approved as safe by the FDA, and can be had by prescription from most physicians. It is not yet fully proven to help against Covid-19, but it is quite a safe and common drug.

Idiots like you think that test kits should appear magically like they do in the movies. Unfortunately, in real life, they have to be designed, tested, manufactured, tested again, and then ramped up in production – and there are no extensive production facilities in the USA because of outsourcing to (gasp) China. 3M is our one mask manufacturer so they are a bottleneck. Finally, there are plenty of beds for use in field hospitals. There will be a shortage in medical personnel if this gets bad.

So a kit was designed and tested. It didn’t work – fairly common in the real world of R&D. So back to the drawing board. Maybe if China had been more forthcoming we wouldn’t have had to go through the design, test and fail situation. But, you know what, they found out what didn’t work and in R&D that is very important.

Those would people the people who are elderly and NOT in good health and/or those who have compromised immune systems, like people with lung problems from smoking or asbestos, or those who have severe heart problems or upper respiratory problems. I heard that many of those who died in Italy were in their 20s, 30s and 40s and the couple I read about here, a school principle and his wife looked like they were in their 30s or 40s. Of course we don’t know what was going on with them health wise. The husband, the principle got over it but his wife was really struggling. They looked a little over weight, not bad.

One of my problems according to my Mom is that I lack fear. She used to call me “Fearless Fosdick”. There are rational and irrational fears. I think it’s okay to be concerned at this time. My concern right now is for the vulnerable population and pets. It was reported China rounded up all their strays and euthanized them because of the novel virus’ ability to pass to and from animals. Vets have to be concerned at least a little, about sick pets coming in and infecting them. These are the types of things I take to God then I try to leave them there.
