You’re an Atheist with respect to Poseidon, Thor, Vishnu and thousands of other dead gods nobody prays to anymore. For the same reason you reject Thor and Allah, I reject all gods, including your Jehovah, because they don’t exist.

Atheism has nothing to do with Communism, except that both reject god-belief. Communism is a political system like Capitalism (or Nazism and Islam). Communists believe workers own the means of production, not the wealthy elites.

While I’m an Atheist, I reject Communism since it is a form of fascism and though all systems can become totalitarian, I support Capitalism because it allows the greatest amount of freedom and also to gain wealth.

So to conflate Atheism with Communism demonstrates ignorance and a total lack of understanding of what both these terms mean. It’s also the go-to argument to try to frighten people away from Atheism, typical fear (and smear) tactics of Christians.

At least you should get your terminology right if you’re going to debate someone, even if you disagree with their position.

There is no direct line in Atheism from the rejection of god-belief to persecuting believers. However Christianity has many passages inciting hatred against non-Christians (“the fool says in his heart there is no god” and unbelievers are destined to go hell, etc.)

Which is why for centuries Christians felt justified in invading other countries, slaughtering and enslaving people and taking their land/wealth, much as Muslims are doing today.

Also crime stats show prisons are full of Christians and other religions, however Atheists compose less than 1% of the prison population. So we are the least likely to commit crimes compared to other groups.

What did the Crusades have to do with Christians buying millions of blacks from Muslim Arabs as slaves? What did the Crusades have to do with Britain invading/colonizing India killing millions and robbing Indians of all their gold and wealth?

If you’ve read my posts you would’ve seen me call for a Crusade against Islam on many occasions because it is the great evil of our time and I’ve called for unity amongst all of us non-Muslims to fight against Islam.

Communists have certainly killed millions but that has absolutely nothing to do with Atheism since most Atheists are not Communists, just like most Christians are not Nazis.

And let me repeat for the Nth time, there is no mandate for Atheists to convert or kill unbelievers in Atheism, we simply reject god-beliefs, that’s it. However in Communism there is a mandate to wage war against Capitalism and to eradicate religion.

We’ve all seen what shitty nations like NK, China and Russia are, thanks to Communism, so obviously we don’t want that here. Capitalism for all it’s faults is still the best system in the world.

India was made better by the British killing up to 29 million Indians from starvation/famine, not to mention the millions killed in direct conflicts and the impoverishment of millions due to theft of wealth and destroying Indian manufacturing to the benefit of Britain’s economy?

The Crusades weren’t purely about killing every jihadi you could find, but also massacring innocents and non-Christians along the way. They also only killed about 1-3 million people, so nice try. The rest of the 97 million or so deaths resulted from invasion and Christianization.
