Surprised it took so long.
Bahgat Saber, a New York-based Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood activist, said in a video he uploaded to his Facebook page on March 1, 2020 that any Egyptian who has flu-like symptoms or coronavirus should deliberately go to Egyptian police stations, public prosecution offices, courthouses, embassies, and consulates and shake hands with government officials in order to exact revenge against President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi’s government, which he said is deeply corrupt, and avenge the people Sisi has oppressed. He added that if he gets coronavirus, he plans to go to the Egyptian consulate in New York and infect the people working there.
NY Brotherhood Activist Vows to Infect Others With Corona
A New York-based Muslim Brotherhood activist is urging Egyptians who are sick with the coronavirus or any flu to deliberately infect government and intelligence officials, police and military officers and members of the justice system.
Clarion via Memri, March 2020:
Bahgat Saber vowed that if he gets sick with corona, he will go to the Egyptian consulate in New York to infect whomever he can.
Saber made the comments in a video he uploaded to his Facebook page on March 1, which was documented by MEMRI-TV:
“Whoever has flu-like symptoms – cold, fever, sneezing – should pay a visit to his ‘friends’ who work for Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi’s government. The moment you get flu-like symptoms like a cold or a fever, go to the public prosecution office that is closest to your house. Go to any building where they might illegally incarcerate people. If you can, go to a building of the Security Investigations Service, and if you can’t, just wait for them and sneeze on their cars when they pass by.”
“Perhaps coronavirus will topple Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi. Our Lord is capable of doing anything. But you have to make proper use of this.”
Meanwhile, ISIS is already actively recruiting its jihadis who are sick with corona to infect “infidels.”
According to an intelligence document penned by the Iraqi Ministry of Interior, ISIS is especially targeting the southern provinces in Iraq which are heavily populated with Shiite Muslims. They are also targeting Shiite religious sites, using the sick jihadis as human biological bombs.
A prominent Egyptian organization, Dar al-Ifta al-Misriyyah (House of the Fatwas in Egypt), noted that the fact that ISIS is using their fighters in this way means they are short of weapons and are compensating for their inability to confront forces on the ground.
Dar al-Ifta also noted that ISIS’ online newspaper Al-Naba was gloating about the spread of the virus in Iran and China. The newspaper stated that China is an infidel state with a tyrannical government. In a fatwa published in Al-Nab, ISIS said that China deserved this torture “in this world and the next one” and that spreading the virus was praiseworthy and in accordance with sharia law, even if Muslims were affected by it.
ISIS told its healthy fighters to stay out of Europe to avoid being infected with the virus. Al-Qaeda issued the same “travel warning” to its militants. Both groups told their jihadis to postpone operations in Europe until the threat is over.
Meanwhile in Hungary, two 23-year old Iranian students were slated to be kicked out of the country for violating their corona quarantine. The two students repeatedly left the hospital where they were quarantined and refused to return even after being warned. In a statement made by the interior ministry, the students also behaved aggressively towards the hospital staff.
The virus first manifested itself in Hungary among Iranians and is spreading in the country.
The large number of those affected by the disease in Iran has been directed linked to the country’s relationship with China. Even today, flights between the countries are said to be continuing.
Radio Farda reported that an Iranian cabinet decision to cancel all flights to China made on January 31 was curiously never published on the official government website like all other decisions are.
An investigation by the news outlet showed that from February 4 to February 23, Iran’s Mahan Air (reportedly controlled by the Revolutionary Guards) made at least 55 round-trip flights to Beijing, Shanghai, Gwangju and Shenzen — and the flights are still continuing.
