“My ‘jaw dropped’ at hopeful coronavirus trial results,” Dr. Oz.

  • China- The state owned Xinhua News Agency reported last month that Chloroquine is effective against COVID-19 and has added it to its treatment guidelines.
  • Norway-A memo by three top-level Norwegian scientists (including one from Wuhan, China now living in Norway), to Norwegian Health Authorities uses Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) to detail the situation in China. They conclude that Chloroquine is the most effective in treating COVID-19, especially if given early in treating the disease. They also detail how China has placed large orders and is ramping up Chloroquine production.
  • Australia-Infectious disease experts at the University of Queensland have seen Chloroquine make coronavirus disappear in infected patients. They’ve seen similar results with an HIV-suppressing combination drug cocktail.
  • France-Recent trial conducted by Professor Didier Raoult at the infectious disease institute, IHU Mediterranée Infection in Marseilles saw a significant decrease in the amount of time COVID-19 patients remained contagious when given Chloroquine.
  • United Kingdom- Over the last month has banned the export of Chloroquine.
  • South Korea and Belgium-Chloroquine has now been added to those countries’ treatment guidelines.

There Should Be Zero Distancing from Chloroquine Treatment: Van Hipp

By:

I’m a strong advocate for the use of antibodies and therapeutics to combat coronavirus until a vaccine is ready. It should be our top priority. The ability to provide early treatment for the coronavirus to those most susceptible to infection, healthcare workers, the elderly, and those recently infected would be a game changer.

It would give people hope and help us turn the tide on COVID-19.

Over the last month, there are more stories emerging globally on the successful use of Chloroquine, an old malaria pill first approved in 1949, to treat COVID-19.

And just now, there are reports that the pharmaceutical giant Bayer is on the verge of donating a large quantity of Chloroquine to the U.S. government to test its efficacy.

Even Elon Musk has recently tweeted about Chloroquine potentially treating coronavirus.

President Trump’s announcement that Chloroquine has just been approved by the FDA to test as a coronavirus treatment is welcome news.

What’s important now is for the United States to look at how countries globally have successfully used Chloroquine over the last month, decisions they’ve made to ensure an adequate supply for their citizens, and how some have even banned its export.

Additionally, we should look at implementing promising therapies that can be given in conjunction with Chloroquine to eliminate any potential side-effects.

Here’s what we know:

One concern with Chloroquine and several anti-viral drugs in treating COVID-19 is that these treatments can damage mitochondria (the powerhouses of the cell), especially in elderly patients whose mitochondrial function declines with age. Additionally, a loss of mitochondrial function from COVID-19 itself can accompany a severe reduction in lung function.

Dr. Robert Elliott has conducted pioneering mitochondrial research related to ALS. He has been evaluating recovery concepts from COVID-19 after administration of anti-virals, antibiotics, and Chloroquine. He observes, “I believe that replenishment of mitochondria post-treatment of COVID-19 can accelerate and stabilize recovery, especially for the most severely compromised patients to reduce death rates.”

The bottom line is that the growing evidence in support of Chloroquine as a treatment for COVID-19 is compelling. And just now, the University of Minnesota announced it’s beginning a 1,500 person trial to see if Hydroxychloroquine (derivative of Chloroquine) can prevent or reduce the severity of COVID-19. The Dean of the University of Minnesota Medical School, Dr. Jakub Tolar notes, “Results are likely in weeks, not months.”

This is the kind of thinking and attitude we need — now.

In this environment, we need to move — fast.

The U.S. should immediately ensure it has an adequate supply of Chloroquine for the American people. We should follow Great Britain’s lead and ban its export. We should look at combining Chloroquine treatment of COVID-19 with treatments to replenish mitochondria afterwards. The use of Chloroquine is one approach that has tremendous merit, gives people hope, and will help us turn the tide on the coronavirus.

Death makes liberals happy. It’s not limited to our number one killer, abortion. Liberals will push death and suffering in any way they can. Liberals also thrive on wishing others ill will.

Nancy Pelosi’s daughter, Christine Pelosi, sent this out via Twitter. Of course her mother clams to “not hate anyone” and got very nasty and hateful at the accusation. I guess she just teaches it and lives it by example to who ever will listen to her. Of course Twitter had no problem with Christine’s tweet …

It is very promising so what does Dr. Fauci do? He belittles it. He’d rather have you wait till next year for a possible vaccine. He’s also been working on an AIDS cure since I think the 1990’s and may have a cure for it eight years from now. Isn’t that inspiring? This is the pace these government liberal “doctors” operate.

While Dr. Fauci feverishly works on cures or vaccines, he has plenty of time to show his love for Hillary through touching love letters, through Hillary’s corrupt former Chief of Staff, Cheryl Mills, cheering on LIAR Hillary Clinton and other left wing criminal politicians:

Felix, here is a good table that answers some of your questions. It helps show why Covid-19 is worse than the flu. It is more infectious, it leads to more hospitalizations, and it has a higher case fatality rate. But notice that Covid-19 is safer than SARS was, and that died out completely.comment image

S. Korea has more of a homogeneous population with no invaders so in some ways we are more lke Italy. Where we don’t align with Italy is they have a larger invasion and lack good health care. Maybe an average between the two would be a better guide.

Five days ago, 103 people (mostly Chinese “tourists” getting treated for free) had died, from the Chinese virus, in the ROK. As of last hour, the number is up to 111. So, an increase of 8, dying in a five day period.
When the Mexican Swine Flu hit Japan, within a few weeks, over 20% of the population had contracted the Mexican Swine Flu. And, hundreds were dying every week. Other than those on a foreign cruise ship, the numbers aren’t even high enough to be “reportable” (Japan and covid-19).

When I consulted for the Daesang Group and Samsung Heavy, I made a few good friends. Haven’t physically seen any of them since 2000. However, first there was email. Then there was Skype. Then there was KaKaoTalk, which we still use. They extended school break(s) for around one month, but that’s about as far as it got.
When I’ve informed them how local and state governments have forcefully closed down businesses … anything “nonessential”, like Nohio’s governor, little mikki dawhiner, they could NOT believe it. One of them asked if Kim, Jong Un had moved to America and taken over.
One man, really a very intelligent man, that was my driver/translator when I was working with Daesang, simply refused to believe me. Until the following day, he had read all kinds of articles on that. He simply asked if Americans were cowards, stupid, or both.
A very close friend, from that time, Dr. Kim, Min Soo,, graduated from Yonsei University’s medical school felt that our actions were counter productive. He asked if there were any REAL physicians in the United States.

First, there was the Chinese tourists that hit Cheju Do. They were air transported from the island to the peninsula. Then, there was that cult that had people, from China, holding large gatherings in the thousands. If those two things had not occurred, there would have been a very small number of people infected, in the ROK.
Those two instances were 24/7 news for almost ten days. People demonstrating in the streets, calling for the president’s resignation/impeachment/arrest. The Hanguk Saram seem to really like demonstrations.
Hopefully, here, there, and everywhere, this Chinese virus will go away. My largest fears is that government action has ruined the economy … and it will take years to ever get it back on stable footing. Between elected officials, such as Nohio’s governor, little mikki dawhiner … and a totally out of control news media, the battle back ain’t going to be easy.

Testing started on January 11 and the first infection was confirmed on January 19. But South Korea’s cases were minimal until February 21 when they exploded in the country’s southeast – a result of chain infections in crowded services held by the Christian sect Shincheonji. Some 63% of S Korea’s cases hail from Shincheonji.

It ain’t a Christian sect. It’s a cult, where the founder is worshipped as god.
Look at the first cases that came into Cheju Do, as it’s visa free for Chinese tourists.

For them to call it a “Christian sect” shows just how little they know about the situation. Shincheonji has been in the news for quite some time. They used to go around to young college girls and give them cars and the like, in order to recruit others. Lee Man Hee is considered not only a messiah, but god. Those entering turn over all of their assets, inclusive of homes and incomes. A salary man signs his checks over. They are forbidden to have contact with their families. Gangster-like thugs keep everyone in line. They’ve been known to go to cult family members and rough up parents and grandparents. Lee is not so much a “returned Jesus Christ” as he is the entire godhead.
But, why are Korea’s covid19 death rates so low? I really don’t know. My guess would be their hygiene. I consider my house far cleaner than most American homes. However, it’s filthy in comparison to how most Koreans keep their homes. It could also be that their medical system is superior to ours. On that, I don’t know. I’m such a limited user of medical care, I really cannot comment. I haven’t seen a physician for many, many years. I don’t trust most American physicians further than I could throw one into a super typhoon (180+ mph sustained winds).

“Why are S. Korea’s Covid-19 death rates so low? ”
https://asiatimes.com/2020/03/why-are-koreas-covid-19-death-rates-so-low/
Summary:
South Korea has stuck to a liberal playbook: even its most affected city, Daegu, has not been isolated. This makes Seoul’s apparent success a potential benchmark. South Korean CDC by coincidence conducted a table-top exercise on a coronavirus outbreak in December 2019.

Seoul’s apparent success include a robust national health service; prior experience of virus outbreaks and related preparations; aggressive execution of testing, isolation and treatment protocols, fully backed by the law.

Telephone consulting services, drive-through test centers and thermal cameras – which, set up in buildings and public places to detect fever, swiftly came online. South Korea has undertaken approximately 190,000 tests thus far, according to KCDC Deputy Director General Kwon Jun-wook, and has the capacity to undertake 20,000 per day. Turnaround times are six-24 hours.

Dedicated centers and hospitals centralize specialized equipment and personnel, while keeping the virus out of regular hospitals. A triage system ensures only those with severe symptoms are admitted to oxygenated, low-pressure wards. Home quarantine with access to medical consulting is widely employed.

Tests are affordable. “The test kit is about $130, and about half is covered by insurance the other half by individual,” KCDC’s Kwon said. Those who test positive get the test free, “So there is no reason for suspected cases to hide their symptoms,” he said.

“There is no such thing as too much testing during an outbreak,” Dan Strickland, a retired American epidemiologist told Asia Times. “All the testing is catching mild cases.”

The government did widespread testing of the Shincheonji church’s 211,000 members. Those with symptoms were triaged as priority testees; once they were cleared, tests were conducted on those who showed no symptoms to ensure they were not latent carriers.

“From the containment phase, we tried to implement case isolation and case tracking, and this was done in a very aggressive manner,” Kim Dong-hyun of the Korean Society of Epidemiology said.

“We have legal grounds for cohort isolation,” said Kwon. “Rather than being an infringement of human rights, this was for the prevention of epidemic.” Related laws on the books date back to the MERS outbreak and further legal changes take effect in April.

Case tracking was done via CCTV data mining and credit use patterns.

Another thing to consider is the U.S. is more prepared than other countries. This chart only goes back to 2012. I couldn’t find a more up to date chart.

Trump is also trying to flatten the curve for hospital/doctor care by isolating and “social distancing”. This also helps limiting the spread.

Germany has done nothing to contain this till now. It’s hard to comprehend but they are still taking in refugees. Hopefully this will change too. Infected, middle eastern and African “refugees” and “migrants” have been coming to the EU.

Germany has just now closed its borders to five neghboring countries. Prior to that it was wide open borders. That helped to spread it.

Like the rest of the west, no country has the capacity to hospitalize every person in it. As you know a pandemic strains what is in place for the anticapated healthcare needs.

Today during the Press Briefing, Trump said that 50,000 U.S. citizens have died from flu viruses other than the Wuhan Virus so far this year.

Last November my mother died from a virus other than the Wuhan Virus, so I know the pain of a loved one dying from a virus. And at the same time, I would not have wanted the U.S. economy to come to a standstill because of that particular virus and all the citizens suffering financial difficulties, and also financial devastation due to bankruptcy.

No one has seen God either. Perfection has no need to place trust in a fallible mortal. For us it’s all about faith.

Of course God is the one you should have your ultimate trust with but there are times when someone else has to speak for you when you are unable to and that is where trust extends to mere mortals.

Here’s a scenario you may relate to. If you are married or single and you are unable to speak for yourself due to an injury or a medical condition where you are unable to be clear headed and make a decision, there needs to be someone in your life to speak up for you. That includes some level of trust. Often these people also put their trust in God first too!

I hope you don’t undercut fellow Christians and automatically discredit them for imperfections we all have. I don’t believe we are meant to live isolated paranoid lives while we are on this earth. That would be a joyless existence. I hope you reconsider….without removing God being the One you trust the most.

I also agree that there is a global effort to unseat Trump through some perceived hoax like the Russia situation or by smearing and lying about him to replace him with someone like Biden to do globalist biddings.

They do want a one world government and a one world religion. Even an atheist or an agnostic can see that. We are seeing prophecy come to life. Trump is doing what he can to stop it. MORE GOOD NEWS!

Florida man with coronavirus claims anti-malarial drug saved his life
By Madeline Farber | Fox News 3/24/20

A Florida man hospitalized with the novel coronavirus claims an anti-malarial drug — one that President Trump has said is being tested as a possible treatment option but has not yet been approved — saved his life.

Rio Giardinieri, 52, told Fox 11 that he experienced a fever for five days, back pain, headache, cough, and tiredness after attending a work-related conference in New York. After returning home, he was diagnosed with COVID-19 and pneumonia at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in South Florida. He was reportedly hospitalized in the facility’s intensive care unit for more than a week, at which point he says his symptoms had not alleviated.

The same drug has also been used to treat auto-immune diseases like lupus, according to the New York Post. Some researchers in France recently issued a statement detailing how a combination of the anti-malarial medication and antibiotics could be a vital weapon in the battle against the coronavirus. Trump has also touted the drug as a possible treatment, saying last week that he has pushed the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to test hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine, a similar drug, as possible treatment options. However, such use has yet to be approved by the federal agency.

An infectious disease doctor treating Giardinieri “gave me all the reasons why I would probably not want to try it because there are no trials, there’s no testing, it was not something that was approved.”

Giardinieri said he then received the medication, during which time he felt like his heart was “beating out of his chest” and still experienced difficulty breathing.

The man claimed he was then given Benadryl and other drugs and later woke up like “nothing ever happened.” He now claims that his fever has dissipated and he is no longer in pain. He also told Fox 11 he is able to breathe more normally again. The episodes he experienced after being administered hydroxychloroquine were likely his body fighting off the infection rather than an adverse reaction to the medication itself, doctors reportedly told him.

“To me, there was no doubt in mind that I wouldn’t make it until morning,” Giardinieri said, noting he received the medication on Saturday and hopes to be able to leave the hospital in five days. “So to me, the drug saved my life.”

There are times when analysis paralysis is not helpful. This often happens in a bloated, lethargic bureaucracy like the FDA.

Whine, “Bububut it’s not FDA Approooooved! You can’t uuuuse that!”

Of course not, it is Trumps cure. That will spoil their perfect crisis. Farking prog-libs. (Yeah, I know that last is repetitious. It stresses the fact.)

I am tired of these career bureaucrats that want us groveling at their feet for their royal approval. BTW, most of them are Demoncrappers. They do know how to stick together, especially in the worst of times. They want utter chaos so Trump will fail and be voted out.

They still need $10 million to do trials on strength Malaria and HIV

We don’t need 10 million for that. We already know it clears up malaria. As for HIV our “experts” say that is another 8 or 10 years away. Understand they get grants, donations, charity, research money and large salaries trying to find a cure. There is no incentive to find one. Think of all the jobs that would be lost. It’s a cash cow for them.

Get your damn heads out of the sand! Anyone who believes the bat soup origins of the CCP Virus is plain “bats.” This is a deliberately engineered bioweapon created by the CCP to both suppress dissent over their collapsing economy and to crash the economies of the West and our allies. This, my friends, is an act of war and should be responded to as such. This CCP Virus, at least the one released in the West is 30x more lethal than the common flu. The release of the CCP Virus bioweapon was coordinated with a propaganda drive to strike fear and collapse our economies. It is now being followed up with unprecedented propaganda drive detailed in today’s edition of the Epoch Times to place the blame on Trump to the extent they are calling it the Trump Pandemic.

They can try to pin the outbreak on Trump but they will FAIL.

Its a combination of this AND a specific antibiotic. Who controls the production of antibiotics? China.

There was mention of a negative effect of the medication. From what I have been reading, very rare.

Worth trying. If you are deathly sick from the Wuhan virus, its better to try than to die.

I don’t care for Dr. Oz either but a number of more credible sources say there is evidence that this inexpensive drug makes a huge difference. Did you read the NYT article about the hospitalized 52 year old man whose life was apparently saved in the nick of time by this drug? Here is the link again:
https://nypost.com/2020/03/22/florida-man-with-coronavirus-says-drug-touted-by-trump-saved-his-life/?utm_source=twitter_sitebuttons&utm_medium=site%20buttons&utm_campaign=site%20buttons

It’s worth reading.

Wondering if this would work well on the normal flu as well. would put the damn flu shots out of business, which would be nice. Damn CDC has been lying about flu deaths for years to get people to take the shots, as they have $$ invested in the shots. Believe thats more then a little bit of a conflict of interest, but doubt it’s in any way actionable.

Yes it works
Sadly in Canada our leaders are very low IQ
Therefore Canadians will needlessly die
Canadian politicians responsible for these deaths will be subject to massive law suits for their negligence
Gawd you are so lucky to have Trump
Right to try

So the UK banded the export of the drug Chloroquine to help other nations??? Damn I wish the US would have banned the export of military and medical support to the UK during WWI and WWII!!!!! How FUKING selfish are the brits to horde something that will save lives after so many lives have been lost in the past to save brit lives????!!

From information that doctors already know about the available treatment for COVID-19, the hydroxychloroquine has fewer harmful side effects than the chloroquine. A powerful antibiotic should be used in conjunction with the one used. These two substances should only be taken under the direction of a doctor whether hospitalized or not.
