Woketard Oscar Ratings Collapse 20 Percent to All-Time Low

Ratings for Sunday night’s 2020 Oscar ceremony collapsed by double digits to hit an all-time low.
Last year, the Oscars earned 29.6 million viewers, a bit of an increase over the 2018’s disastrous 26.5 million, which was also the previous record holder for all-time low Oscar ratings.
Story continues below advertisementThis Sunday, only 23.6 million tuned in. That’s a jaw-dropping 20 percent dive over last year, and an 11 percent dive from the previous all-time low.
What a failure…
Gee, I wonder what excuse the sycophant entertainment outlets will come up with this time?
You see, in the past, whenever the public turned away from the Academy Awards in droves, the sycophants blamed it on the Best Picture nominees, the fact that not enough popular movies were in the running.
Well, this year that was obviously not the case. Joker, Little Women, Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood, and 1917 were all hits, all grossed over $100 million. Joker was one of the biggest hits of the year.
Gee, so what could it be, entertainment media?
No, really, let’s all put on our thinking caps and try to figure just what it was that so repelled the public this year.

Oh, well, except for the fact that Sunday night’s telecast ended up being exactly what those of us who refused to watch knew it would be: Three-plus hours of elitists hectoring and lecturing the rest of us to make sacrifices they never will.
Milk, y’all — we were told drinking milk is immoral.
The whole night was smug and pompous and sanctimonious and hypocritical.
the whole night was filled with man-hating and self-congratulations… It was appalling.
The whole night was filled with small, petty, mean-spirited, divisive, spiritually-unattractive blowhards who obviously hate most of their customers, but who are so bubbled and spoiled and privileged and sheltered, they not only feel no need to hide that hatred and contempt, they believe that by being boorish and insulting and off-putting, it will actually boost their standing within a failing industry held together by literal spandex.

How about all the mothers crying over their babies, children and family lost to drugs, drug violence, drug gangs, and drug cartels because people like you keep them in business?

River was supposed to be the “Poster Boy” for “no drugs,” and it was all a sham.
His own brother died from drugs but he preaches to us about abusing animals instead about the “Animals” who make life horrific for millions of people around the world.

Actually, saying it’s “A moot point” is probably the wrong way of putting it, since I brought up the subject of drugs.
My point is, I’m not going to be lectured to, by someone who cares more about what’s been the natural order of things, whether you believe it’s that “God gave us dominion over animals.” or “Evolution did,” rather than an intrinsically basic evil that not only ruins human lives, but also, ironically destroys more animal life cause their ain’t a farmer in the world who’s going to let animals of any kind destroy his crop.
Just look at the three pictures above.

As I have stated on many occasions, everyone has the right to their own opinions; it becomes an issue as to when they can appropriately state those opinions. Theses personalities, which is all they are, famous faces who are no better than anyone else, and except for their acting careers, have contributed nothing much to society, ought to recognize that their opinions are not everyone’s opinion and us others need to always take that into account. Always consider the source of the comments, and then decide for yourself. These people, who have it so good, do not fully understand what is best for this country, and they will speak out thinking they are the only one’s with the answer. Keep that in mind when you hear some of the nonsense that they believe in, and factor that in. It is as simple as that.

1492: Conquest of Paradise — The water’s depth is now “18 fathoms… 16 fathoms… 14 fathoms… 6…” and then the mist clears, and then… Gérard Depardieu really earns his money as Columbus, and the history is quite accurate. Everyone knew the earth was round, the argument was about how big it is.

TCM sometimes shows Japanese movies w/sub-titles. I try to catch them when I can. I saw a particularly bizarre one from the 1960’s about some paid assassin. As for the plot it was so convoluted I never really figured out what was going on.

The sale price must have been cheap as so many MSM channels showed the rubbish. I smell desperation here as the great majority are sick of watching preening hypocrites morally masturbating in public.

Having some experience in the industry, it was amusing to listen to Joaquin what’s-his-ass outline the treatment of dairy cows. He detailed his objections in the context of household pets, which dairy cattle are not, instead of in the vein of commercial livestock, which they are.

I have been a film buff all my life and used to stay up all night to watch the Oscars.I used to go to the cinema at the very least once a week often more.
I haven’t done that for 10 years + now and cannot stand the unmitigated rubbish that call themselves actors and actresses they are glamourless rubbish and I could not care less about their political opinions. How has the film industry got into such a state.of pure JUNK? Some of the garbage I see snippets of on the news I would not give a job to sweeping my floors. They are GARBAGE.

Not just that but they have also totally bastardized classics: Star Trek, Star Wars, etc.. Future generations who have no idea will sit down and watch them and wonder WTH happened here? Just as well Sergio Leone is dead(and Morricone) or we would have Hanoi Jane playing “Blue eyes” in a new spaghetti western. Or an all female crew on board “Die Bootie”(Remember the US warship that had a collision as the two female deck officers were not talking to each other?). The damage they are doing will be long lasting to the industry.

To get the Big Box theater experience at home I stick gum to my easy chair and pour sticky pop on the floor and grind in sme popcorn and candy before I sit down. Then I put my 2 year old behind me in a highchair so he can kick my chair and babble.

Here in Finland 2.5 hours of it followed by 1 hour of the RED carpet. Then every time the news is on its Brad Pitt getting up to get his little present.
My opinion is that a large part of the population is dumb as stump and my guess is lot of the watchers are women. No I am not ‘sexist’ before somebody jumps in with that ‘ist’ I love women I think they are great, my mother was woman believe it or not! However they are often suckers for glitz and celebrity. All that phony bonhomie and luvvie duvvie when you know they would stab each other in the back to get a part. Apart from everything else they should just get their award and FO, you do not get athletes giving political speeches when they get awards. Though they are not averse to political gestures!

Liberals haven’t figured it out yet that when a Democrat lies and deceives people, it will eventually come out into the light and the truth will be known. Then, what that liberal does next will determine what their character and integrity is or lack thereof. A few Dems I have know and have talked to, have come around to the truth and have left the Dem Party, especially after Benghazi happened and they have watched their Party turn evil. The ratings for the Oscars will continue to plummet. Most people are sick of the pomposity spewed by these self-aggrandizing, narcissistic, elitist Leftist/Commie actors or actresses. These thespians genuinely believe they are the intelligentsia, thus are more erudite politically or otherwise than their money-paying audiences — deeming the latter, Joe and Joanne America as base dullards.
