Twitter violates its own policy by allowing death wishes for Rush Limbaugh

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey lied when he testified before a U.S. House Committee hearing that his platform “does not use political ideology to make any decisions.” Indict for perjury.

Twitter deviates from its own policy by allowing death wishes for Rush Limbaugh

The social media platform forbids ‘wishing, hoping or calling for serious harm on a person or group of people,’ yet it bans accounts questioning gender ideology.

February 7, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) – As left-wing voices continue to wish death and suffering upon conservative pundit Rush Limbaugh after the announcement of his lung cancer diagnosis, Twitter’s tolerance for such comments stands in stark contrast to the company’s zero-tolerance policy on “misgendering.”

“Twitter is showing extreme bias in permitting tweets rejoicing at the severe cancer diagnosis of Rush Limbaugh yet blocking our account based on a tweet identifying a person by his biological sex rather than his preferred self representation,” LifeSiteNews co-founder and editor-in-chief John-Henry Westen said.

The veteran talk radio host shocked the conservative world Monday by announcing that he has been diagnosed with advanced lung cancer. Limbaugh said he plans to continue to “do this program as normally and as competently and as expertly as I do each and every day, because that is the source of my greatest satisfaction professionally, personally” while he undergoes treatment with a “great bunch of doctors.”

The news was met with an outpouring of support from prominent conservatives and Republicans, with President Donald Trump awarding Limbaugh the Presidential Medal of Freedom during Tuesday evening’s State of the Union address. Many on the Left responded with contempt, however, expressing delight at Limbaugh’s misfortune and even wishing a painful death on him:

https://twitter.com/rezaaslan/status/1224703538804264965

All these tweets and more remain live as of February 6, despite the fact that Twitter’s own rules forbid “wishing, hoping or calling for serious harm on a person or group of people,” with “Hoping that someone dies as a result of a serious disease, e.g., ‘I hope you get cancer and die,’” as one of its own examples of “hateful conduct.” While most of its Hateful Conduct Policy is framed in terms of racial, sexual, or religious discrimination, they also state that “individuals do not need to be a member of a specific protected category for us to take action.”

By contrast, Twitter has censored numerous accounts for respectfully disputing left-wing orthodoxy. Last December, Twitter locked LifeSiteNews’ account for tweeting a link to the story, “Trans activist Jonathan ‘Jessica’ Yaniv ‘shocked … confused’ gynecologist won’t see him.” Twitter called it a “violation” of its rules but didn’t specify which one. LifeSite appealed the decision, but its main Twitter account remains locked to this day.

The Yaniv incident was just one of many examples of Twitter cracking down on conservative and pro-family voices on the grounds that referring to someone by his actual sex rather than his “gender identity” is automatically “hateful” and therefore forbidden.

Twitter has a long record of bans and suspensions affecting non-violent, non-hateful, non-obscene tweets from right-of-center perspectives, while Twitter insiders have admitted to intentionally targeting conservative accounts and topics. Nor is Twitter’s double-standard anything new, with the platform tolerating left-wing or anti-family content ranging from calls to “eradicate” Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway to “discussions of … attraction toward minors.”

Not if they are regulated like a utility company. like a phone company.
Once that happens, then they can’t discriminate.

Trump should regulate Twitter and Facebook, and youtube like a utility company. and Google for sure.

Yes and no. Sure, they can ban whoever they want, but when they establish a policy and then fail to follow their own policies or apply them consistently, they may very well be subject to legal liability. There are numerous court precedents that have upheld this.

Twitter has the same view as fascist book. By law, it is illegal to threaten the President. Regardless of twitter policy they have to adhere to that. By policy, twitter shares their bias against Rush and other conservatives. Twitter’s priorities are the liberal agenda. I can’t believe we have to put up with social media CENSORING us like this….

Rush is not a vicious man.He is never hateful and never advocates violence. He is a “loveable fuzzball” who disagrees with the left.

In the old days, we went to many of his shows taped in NYC as part of the audience. He stayed after each show to shake your hand, converse with you and show his appreciation of your support. He was already very successful. He didn’t have to do that; he wanted to. He is a gracious man that loves his country and fellow patriots. In contrast, the left shows it’s disagreement via HATE, VIOLENCE and extreme language.

And there’s the difference in a nutshell between the Rush Limbaughs of the world and the feral animals who are the foot soldiers / shock troops of the radical Commie Left.

I have maybe listened to a handful of Rush shows in my life. I am not a regular listener; but his influence was strong during those days – that you knew who he was. He got the Democrats thrown out of Congress in a Red tidal wave.

Fox News didn’t exist yet. and the internet was not popular yet. Liberal sources were all people had. But you could feel the panic and sometimes admiration coming from those liberal sources.

Viz Life Site News, Twitter has proven itself as much an enforcer of radical fringe Greenwich Village/San Francisco/Fire Island “values” as they and other such platforms have been of Islamic Sharia law. That is how much LGBTQ supremacists control Twitter.

All the hate is a reflection of the world of hurt Mr. Limbaugh put know-it-all liberals through during the Conservative Revolution of 1994. They still haven’t gotten over it.

Like the Crusades did a number on the Jihadis. It left a lasting impression.

Get well political soldier. get well fast. We need you.

Remember when Magic Johnson got HIV way back when there was “no cure.” Rush is our canary in the cancer mine. If anyone can beat it, it’s Rush. President Carter had advanced brain cancer many years ago. There’s probably a cure out there for everything and it’s called cash.

We all do, create a new “twitter” a platform that would mimic twitter and mock it at the same time.

Its simple. When Jack Dorsey speaks of what should and should not be published on Twitter you know he is lying because his shy lips are moving.

We know that if you post conservative views you will likely be taken down, but if you push Antifa, LGBQ, Democrat, Populist MSM science, you are fine and can write what you want. That is about all there is to Twitter and Dorsey’s BS humble act.

I’m always hearing about some one saying something in a discussion that another person takes except, and boo hoo, so a complaint is issued and there goes an account into the penalty box or vanished forever. I guess Dorsey likes how the Chinese government deals with wrong think.

Roger Stone and Paul Manafort, to name a couple, were prosecuted and convicted on trumped up charges (pun intended), where no crime was actually committed and received greatly exaggerated sentences. Paul Manafort was put in solitary confinement for a process crime! Roger Stone was given 7 – 9 years just because he was associated with the Trump campaign for a few months. The average sentence for rape is about 4 – 5 years! I have seen others charged and convicted of lying to Congress, but they were affiliated with Trump. The Twitter CEO is a liberal, so he is allowed to lie to Congress as long as it serves their liberal agenda.

A favorite tactic of Twitter to block rightists is to demand your cell phone number to verify your identity and lock you out in the meantime. Don’t go there, rightists! Twitter is associated with leftists you don’t want to have your cell phone number! Twitter is a globalist shill propaganda front of the George Soros-ian globalist banking clique!
