Rob Reiner Attacks Rush Limbaugh over SOTU Medal of Freedom: ‘I Loathe This F**king Man’

Story continues below advertisementHollywood director Rob Reiner took to Twitter and attacked legendary radio talk show Rush Limbaugh after her received the Presidential Medal of Freedom on Tuesday night at the State of the Union.
“Only one thing to say about Rush Limbaugh getting a Presidential Medal if Freedom at The State of the Union: I loathe this fucking man,” Rob Reiner said.

Rush Limbaugh was in tears as he received the Medial of Freedom — the highest civilian award in the U.S. — from First Lady Melania Trump.
The moment was perhaps extra emotional for the iconic radio host and philanthropist because it came just one day after he announced on air Monday that he had been diagnosed with advanced lung cancer.
“I wish I didn’t have to tell you. It’s a struggle for me because I had to inform my staff earlier today. I can’t escape… Even though people are telling me it’s not the way to look at it, I can’t help but feel that I’m letting everybody down with this. But the upshot is that I have been diagnosed with advanced lung cancer, diagnosis confirmed by two medical institutions back on January 20th. I first realized something was wrong on my birthday weekend, January 12th,” Limbaugh said.
“There are going to be days that I’m not going to be able to be here, because I will be undergoing treatment, or I’m reacting to treatment,” he added.
Reiner was just one of many Hollywood leftists to attack Limbaugh on Tuesday night.
“I’m a Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient, man. Front me 50 pills?” — Rush to his Oxy dealer tomorrow,” actor Patton Oswalt said.

Rob’s only talent is his political opinions … and he can’t even get that right. No pun intended.
Meathead is the reason I gave up broadcast telly …
My stepmother was a fan of the show – you know the one – and I walked by and saw a scene of Meathead and Carrol O’F*Ker taking a sh*t on the flag … okay, not literally, but I got the message. And I was still an Atheist, Liberal, Libertarian, meathead myself at the time, but I knew the thing was aimed at young white trash from the trailer parks like me – and it was a big step in growing up, and learning not to believe anything the Left says.
Have never used broadcast or cable telly ever since, and never picked up satellite when it went commercial. Last year made 40 yrs since that decision, and I’ve not regretted it once … not an iota, not a tittle, not a scintilla, not a smidgen.

Forty, working on forty-one, years …. Wow.
I only have around fifteen years of watching NO television. Toss in my time in Saipan, Japan, and South Korea … I’m only around thirty. But, those years really do not count, as every stinkin’ hotel had CNN and Sky for their English speaking channels. And, Saipan had Marianas Cablevision, wherein we got U.S. channels on a one week delay (the tapes were sent to the islands) So …. I’m really only at fifteen years.
Forty (plus) years. That’s a long time. Hayull, forty years ago … I was still in my twenties.

Why the Editors think the comment of Rob Reiner is worthy of space?? Who cares about his opinion? Same same Michael Moore. And, don’t forget the African descent, wherein BLM stationed snipers … The actually found one that could hit the broad side of a barn … and five human beings were murdered, in Dallas. And, look at how many times black supremacy groups, such as BLM, were invited to the White House … BLM, even after their snipers perpetrated mass murder.

He hates him because Rush is the one that made the term “liberal” a negative thing in popular culture.
Mr. Reiner’s Democrat party was thrown out by the voters in the 1994 Republican Revolution, which Mr. Limbaugh was credited for. Liberals are still reeling from that to this day.
Rob Reiner made the movie “The American President” as a tribute to Bill Clinton and a response to the Conservative Revolution that Rush headed in the 1990s. (Little did the public know that the title should have been “The Chinese President”, since Mr. Clinton was selling out his country while receiving money from Chinese sources).

Excellent. What Mr. Limbaugh did was pick up the ball after President Reagan. He did define the terms and resisted the PUSH of all the dominant liberal institutions. He Bleepin deserves that meddle. I was floored when I saw that … I was outside a bar that had 10 tvs hanging around the rooms and ONE was showing the State of the Union address and I went into that bar and sat and watched, but could not hear any of the live sound as the bar was blaring music. I actually had to put an ear-plug in one ear. Everyone else was playing darts or shouting to drinking companions. I sat there transfixed watching without hearing. Today, I streamed some of the state of the union address.

Well, I loathe Reiner and all his compatriots right back. Especially him though. He’s pretty heartless, like his buddies de Niro and Moore.
Rush is and always will be the better man. Reiner is a liberal goblin with delusions of righteous grandeur, as if his loathing anyone were anything but a badge of honor for the target of his sissy rants.

I have to thank Mr. Limbaugh for my political awakening.
When I saw Rush up there, … I can’t describe my feelings. He was the man I listened to in 1992 (I was driving around the country, just quit my job/career) and thought, “He’s saying the things I think!” It was that time when I became political, prior to which I could be called a “liberal-by-default,” as I took on the values of the people around me (New York) Thank you Rush, I can never repay that debt.
In 2012 my mother was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. One doctor gave her a few months to live, as she had other physical conditions. She died March 25, 2018. Part of the reason she lived that long is that I was in the house all those years going to doctors, hospitals, treatments etc. She lost her hair twice and grew it back! she never had bad reactions to the cemo-therapy and radiation. There were 4 metastasis’ on her bones to boot. It was the family that got her through it. We ALL treated her like a saint! She persisted and she never took the pain meds that the doctors thought regular patients need. She didn’t like the way it made her feel.
Rush can do this!

I beat breast cancer twice…the second one was caused by the chemo they gave me the first time…..it’s called “secondary cancer”…..they don’t tell you about that when they are giving you chemo the first time.
You were a wonderful son. Good family can be the difference in so many illnesses…

Thank you for telling that. The doctors were the ones who told me that family– strong, weak, in-between–often made the difference. Our family was SUPER strong and my two sisters had financial means to get my mother top-quality care and bed, which was very important, one of those beds that raise the head.

I just read an article from the Universal Pre-School that finagled a 50 cent tax on cigarettes some years ago and almost nothing has happened to the money that has been collected. Most of the original members of the board have since resigned because they were being put in a very harsh light. The preschools have only been granted a few percent of the total monies collected, while the group has collected $$600-800 million. Looks like those who scream the loudest about good men are trying to hide their own greed and corruption…
