Pelosi rips up Trump speech at conclusion of State of the Union

Asked afterward why she tore the speech up, Pelosi told reporters it was “the courteous thing to do given the alternative.”
The moment capped a tense address from Trump that started when the president appeared to snub Pelosi’s offer of a handshake.
Pelosi largely seemed to avoid looking at Trump throughout the address, instead reading from his prepared remarks and scanning the room.
She and other Democrats only stood and applauded periodically even as Republicans regularly gave ovations. Pelosi could be seen subtly shaking her head “no” when Trump pledged to protect Medicare and Social Security, as well as rejecting his claims that Democrats want to provide “unlimited healthcare” for undocumented immigrants.
The speech came weeks after the House impeached Trump for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress and one day before the GOP-controlled Senate is likely to vote to acquit him.
Pelosi also made waves at Trump’s State of the Union last year, when her pointed applause at Trump calling for an end to “revenge politics” went viral.

I never shake hands with evil people trying to bring me down…..but to be fair, when you look at the tape I don’t think Trump saw her hand before he started to turn to the mic….he also didn’t shake Pence’s hand…..I didn’t hear Pence complain.

Yes, I think you’re right … the feed we watched was jerky – so many folks were watching, the feed was freezing .. a better video from a different angle confirms that interpretation. … But if Trump did not want to shake her hand … I don’t blame him … he’s already put up with too much immature, childish, selfish, and petulant behavior – and that’s the good stuff, not counting the crimes, the spying, the corruption, etc. …

My initial thoughts after viewing the top picture in this article was that if I were VP Pence and caught her paper prep for being drama queen I would have been fantasizing about backhanding the beot-ch across the face. Failing that,at the very least, if he caught her in his peripheral vision he should have quickly snatched it from her hand and smiled sweetly at her.

Did anyone not notice Pelosi’s manic non stops shuffling and turning of
pages throughout the SOTU address? Only stopping for seconds at a time. She was
creating her own distractions so as to remain somewhat focused. This is the a
display of practiced “self-conditioning” a mask far a charade of
false sobriety that Chronic Alcoholics activate when they are in an immobile
situation and know their minds will lose focus and they will otherwise pass
out.
This was Chronic Alcoholic Nancy at her best, complete with exaggerated
facial movements: this is also exhibited by alcoholic Hillary and even Rep
Kirkpatrick. Kirkpatrick is/was Nancy Pelosi’s drinking buddy who three weeks
took a leave of absence from Congress and admitted herself into an
Alcohol/addiction treatment facility.

Many have stated that it’s O.K. for Pelosi to rip the transcript in half because Trump refused to shake her hand when he took the podium ……. However, how many of you realize that Pelosi gave quite the insult to Trump as she “announced” him when he entered chambers?
As Trump enters, Pelosi simply states introduces President Donald Trump as “the president of the United States.”
What Pelosi SHOULD have said was they had she had the “high privilege and distinct honor of presenting
to you the president of the United States.”
Pelosi slammed Trump in front of the entire Congress, Court, and many others …… she had no right to expect him to recognize him … that, and all the BS with the “Impeachment Circus”.
