Wow … now if we could just get judges in America to take burning our flag seriously …

Not as ‘Free Speech’ … but as incitement to violence.

Test, pass, and receive your PE, if you want to call yourself an engineer. Unless you like playing Make-Believe Pretend engineer.

What’s your problem, you don’t think there’s enough democracy in Israel? Do you live on the moon?

Lefties conditioned you that burning flags somehow means democracy. Democracy is not the same as normless -godless society and burning something is not a free speech.

But why pick out Israel among dozens of democracies to champion outlawing fla-burning?
That was my point – not that I think flag burning is a noble thing. (Nor do I think it deserves the death penalty as in Bahrain.)

Because Israel is special and Holy City of Jerusalem is in its custody. Today they burn flags, tomorrow they will burn Torah scrolls and parade gays on Temple Mount.

Too bad the jackasses on SCOTUS ruled it was ok to burn the American flag.

You hate the 1st Amendment! You hate the Constitution? Why do you hate the Constitution? Why do you hate free speech? Maybe you should go to Bahrain if you hate free speech that much

Do you think burning the U.S. flag is ok? Why don’t you try burning one in front of a veterans organization if you are so concerned with ‘expressing your right’ to burn the flag. Watch what happens.

You’re right Mohandjob. I suppose it is tough to keep up pretending who she is. That, and remembering which psych meds to take on what day. I guess it really isnt easy being a nut job.

I don’t advocate burning the US flag, but I believe it should be protected under free speech rights.

No I’ve never served, but that’s totally irrelevant. I believe in free speech. Therefore I do not believe burning a flag should warrant punishment.

Just as I thought. You need a review of your values if you think burning the U.S. flag is perfectly acceptable.

I don’t support flag burning, but I don’t think it should be illegal. If you don’t support free speech for views you detest, then you don’t support it at all.

Wrong! No point in getting into all the reasons why flag burning should not be protected by free speech. There are myriad other ways to express free speech. The ONLY reason some degenerate wants to burn the flag, is because they hate this country. Period! Claiming they can burn the flag because its free speech, is beyond reprehensible.

Flag burning is not illegal. Whereas, in many states, holding oneself out as an engineer, without a PE, IS illegal. Shouldn’t we start locking up PRETEND engineers?

I’ve noticed a major problem with all of the Pretend engineers that I have run across. They have a serious problem with reading comprehension. ” … promoting an Africans enslaving …” Ergo, NOT referring to Bahrain as IN Africa. Just as you are NOT an engineer. Rather, Bahrain enslaves Africans / has Black Africans as slaves.
You’ve been living in the land of Make-Believe far too long.

I am reiterating other posts but why not, we all think similarly. Ironically, judges in America would never find one guilty of burning our flag. The malcontents, or wannabe Bolsheviks or Nazis hide behind the 1st Amendment when in truth, it is an act of violence, unabashed treason. If one were to burn the so-called holy Qu’ran, the sentence would be a long one.

“Burning any flag is an expression of freedom of critical opinion”.
Nonsense! It undermines the freedom of those who hold the flag sacred.

Burning of American flag is not treason but an expression protected by constitution. Should an American burn American flag is another story. I will not burn American flag no matter how angry I am at my own government but I will not call others a traitor if they did it although it will make me very angry if someone burned our flag. I cannot go about having my own interpretation of constitution. We always tell the other side, when they want to ban guns, that they have their own and a wrong interpretation of constitution.
