Sanders: I’d consider moving embassy back to Tel Aviv
Senator Bernie Sanders says he would consider moving US embassy back to Tel Aviv from Jerusalem. Bloomberg: You can’t move it back.

Story continues below advertisementDemocratic presidential hopeful Senator Bernie Sanders said on Tuesday that, if elected president, he would consider moving the US embassy in Israel back to Tel Aviv from Jerusalem.
“The answer is it’s something we would take into consideration,” said Sanders at a Democratic primary presidential debate in South Carolina, when asked to comment on concern among American Jews that he’s not supportive enough of Israel. He then proceeded to once again criticize Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu.
“But here’s the point, I am very proud of being Jewish. I actually lived in Israel for some months. But what I happen to believe is that right now sadly, tragically in Israel through Bibi Netanyahu, you have a reactionary racist who is now running that country,” he added.
Former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg also weighed in on the issue and said, “You can’t move the embassy back.” Instead, he said, “The answer is to obviously split it up.”
Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren said moving the embassy is not a decision for the US to make and added, “We should let the parties determine the capitals themselves.”
US President Donald Trump relocated the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem in 2018, months after recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital – a decision which angered the Palestinian Authority (PA).
Democratic presidential contenders also criticized Trump’s move, but most have said they would not reverse his decision.
Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar said in July that as president, she would keep the American embassy in Israel in Jerusalem rather than move it back to Tel Aviv.

Who really cares what Soviet Democratic Socialist States of America (SDSSA) does with its embassy. At that point it would be just another 3rd world sewer, God forbid.

Communists have always been anti-Semitic. Marx was Jewish, but he hated Jews. Communists and socialists reject all religion and all morality, so they reject Judaism. When Jews fled from Germany to Russia in WWII, Stalin shipped them back. Stalin was planning a major Jewish purge just before he died. All the weapons used to attack Israel are Russian made.

Yes, self-hatred is common among socialists. French socialists have turned self-loathing into a culture. Research shows that leftists are less religious, less honest, less socially tolerant, less happy, hug their children less, are more likely to suffer from clinical depression and other serious psychopathologies, more likely to commit suicide, more likely to cheat on their taxes and be incarcerated, and are less physically attractive.

“Communists have always been anti-Semitic.” Not entirely true. Lenin was part Jew. He, Lev Kamanev and Gregor Zienoviev who were Jews, ruled Russia from 1917 to 1924 when Lenin died. These three loved Jews and hated Russians so wiped out 19 million of them, most with a bullet into the back of their head.

Yes, the story is mixed. Trotsky was also Jewish. However, all those people rejected religion, were not faithful to Judaism, and broke the 10 commandments all the time. They were secular Jews, just like Soros and Sanders.
