The siege outside of the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad came to an end Wednesday afternoon after dozens of pro-Iran militiamen and their supporters withdrew from the compound.
The two-day crisis started early Tuesday, when, in an orchestrated assault, hundreds of protesters stormed the embassy compound, one of the most heavily fortified U.S. diplomatic missions in the world.
As the militiamen cleared the area, smoke still rose from a section of the compound building where hours before they had lit a fire on the roof.
That’s the kind of thing that makes me like this guy. Republicans of yore would have simply rolled over and let the journo hacks get away with that.
The Iranian puppets who were attacking the embassy said they were withdrawing because they achieved what they set out to do. Timing is everything, and it’s impossible to ignore the fact that they decided they’d accomplished what they wanted to shortly after 100 Marines and a couple of Apache attack helicopters showed up.

Only down side is the “mourners” didn’t have the guts to attack the Apache’s. Would have been excellent to see them “plough the furrow” in return.
Well now, Trevor, anybody can act tough around a bunch of State Dept employees. But when the Marines show up in force…. well that’s an entirely different matter!

If you let the inbreds fight it out, then the strongest terrorists will win and come back to attack America. It is because Bush invaded Iraq/Afghanistan that we haven’t seen another 9/11. Because Muslims know if the attack the US directly, Americans will retaliate, which forces them to think twice.
1400 years ago, there was no such thing as Islam, but once it became a militaristic death cult, it enslaved 1.5 billion people in the Dark Ages.
America tried ‘non-interventionism’ during WW2, but then they got attacked by Japan. Islam is an even larger threat though fortunately Muslims are much weaker militarily than the fascists from the 1930s. So their plan is to invade our nations, build mosques, multiply and then kill us in our own beds.
You may not want war, but that doesn’t mean your enemy feels the same way. Either the US leaves the world to get conquered by Islam and then deal with the consequences later, or we back anti-Islamic forces in all other nations and they will fix the problem themselves.
Going back to my earlier point there are millions of people who hate Islam but are enslaved by it. If given the right help, then they can eradicate Islam in their own countries and secular democracy will conquer the planet. It is the best system there is given that everything else before was tried and failed (communism, fascism, etc).

Iranian militia leader Hadi al-Amiri, one of several identified as leading an attack on the U.S. embassy in Baghdad on Tuesday, reportedly visited the White House in 2011 during the presidency of Barack Obama.
All of Iran’s current misbehavior and acting out is a byproduct of eight years of molly coddling, accommodation, and encouragement by the Halfrican. Remember the capturing of our swift boat in the Persian Gulf? Or how about, as a final act in office, flying pallets full of unmarked and untraceable Euros into Tehran in the dead of night?
Iran is like an unruly child who only understands one thing and that is a good ol’ country ass whuppin’. It is well-deserved and long overdue.

Hours before the Benghazi attack I watched a news report on BBC. The terrorists were showing a reporter where and how the attack would proceed. A few hours later the attack came. It was planned out well in advance. Nothing spontaneous about it.
I did not imagine this news report. That video vanished. Never came up at the Benghazi hearing. Never mentioned by anyone.
Since it was being broadcast, I figured the embassy would be prepared and reinforcements were on the way. Nothing. They were left to their own means. Four dead. Since it was broadcast, I figured it would be used as evidence. Nothing.
Trump showed what a leader should do to protect his people. Obama went to a fundraiser and Clinton couldn’t be bothered.
My question remains: What happened to the video from the BBC?
The terrorists were showing a reporter where and how the attack would proceed.
They knew there were no means for any and all the embassy staff to mount any serious defense andno military assets were stationed at the site. They had all expectation of complete success–so much so, that a guy actually wanted to flout the plan, and become famous to boot, by walking up to a CNN reporter and spilling the beans in great detail. The journalist, in a fit of reporter pedantry, decides to be a “real reporter” for the day and passively, with drool of exuberance dangling from his chin, makes a record of the jihadi thumbing his nose at all the people whom he expects will wring their hands, individually and collectively, with appropriate dour expressions on their faces. Smug is the word.
The Bush’s did nothing too. GWB contributed Islam was a “religion of peace” while his father wanted to create a NWO with nation building.
For once in Pelosi’s corrupt life she told the truth.
She stated something like it didn’t matter WHO was voted in – meaning they were the uniparty and for the most part they stick together.
I wish I could remember which American embassy it was, maybe Kenya, maybe Somalia, and it happened some 20 or thirty years ago.
Where ever, it was a bad little African country. Local factions were being turds, swapping gunfire with each other and pulling the same old, “Well we can all agree to at least harass the American embassy” crap while we squabble.
America put up with it, until one local went a bit too far, and if I remember right, unloaded a direct burst at the embassy.
So a Marine took him out.
After that?
Well.
The locals kept fighting but…
EVERY TIME anyone had to pass the embassy, they would pull the mags from their weapons, hold both high in the air, and once past, reload to continue said squabble.
Every embassy has a Marine Guard on duty 24/7. Why did they allow these terrorists to breach the perimeter,climb the walls and onto the roof? They should have taken them out immediately while waiting for reinforcements. It sure would have been good news to see a couple hundred of these vermin in body bags this morning!
I THINK, it’s because some of the military are still not quite used to having a Commander in Chief that BACKS them.
My feelings about what the C.i.C’s attitude should be is, “Bicker amongst yourselves as much as you want. If a fly so much as shits on an embassy window, we’re goin’ Terminix on all y’ all.”
I used to ranch, and one chore was hand feeding buckets of grain to the bulls, twenty or thirty kept separate from the herd when it’s not breeding season.
Every year new bulls are bought to replace old or injured, and of course they’re always squabbling for dominance.
Some never do settle things, and you never know what will set them off. Grain is candy to them, and like any animal they’ll even start fighting for food.
THAT is when when you can get accidentally run over by them, or even hit from behind by another bull because a fight turns the rest into cheering drunks at a street fight.
The solution?
When feeding by hand, any bull coming near gets a boot to the snoot or a bucket across the head.
It says, “I’m top dog here. You can fight all you want amongst yourselves but when I’m in here feeding you (Look at it as foreign aid) you will ALL, be concerned about offending ME.
Never had any problems with bulls, and I’m certain such tactics would work with these two legged animals as well.
I think my question was answered. Trump was lulling the Iranians into thinking they could get away with attacks on the Embassy and the whole Iranian General staff arrived to plan the next attack and Trump annihilated them. Trump ignored the drone shoot down,the attack on the tankers and the Saudi refineries until he had lulled the leadership where he could destroy them without any loss or injury to our troops. Pure,complete genius!!

President Trump liberated us from being ENSLAVED to Muslim oil.
We are now a large exporter of OUR oil after we were finally allowed to drill for it.
The Bush’s, Clinton’s and Obama could have done this but NO, they wanted us under the thumb of Muslims.

This is why Saudi Arabia had to open up more. Their cash cow of oil has dried up and they no longer dominate.

This is why Saudi Arabia wants to imagine itself as a tourist mecca to make up for the lack of oil revenue.

Iran is too cowardly to fight except by proxy. This was just a recon to test both defenses and the resolve of the Trump Administration. Iran believes that a war will reduce Trump’s chances of reelection this year. We can expect may more of these proxy attacks. Every embassy has a Marine Guard on duty 24/7. This is a world problem dumped in American laps. Bush screwed up, way back when, and we have been knee-deep in Islam ever since.
When “protesters” go to an embassy in any country, that country has a legal obligation to protect that embassy. Clearly, when that did not happen, the Embassy Guard should have taken harsh action. You shoot protesters throwing rocks or bottles, or worse. You do not let them approach the grounds as they throw fire and explosives at the grounds. Meet their deadly protest with their own demise. Let them look for a new tactic.
