Any RINO Republican who legitimizes this sham impeachment should be thrown out of the Republican Party. Period!

Susan Collins Working with ‘Small Group’ of GOP Senators to Rally Support for Impeachment Witnesses

Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) is reportedly working with a “fairly small group” of Republican senators to garner support for impeachment witnesses.

The moderate Republican, who signaled that she is open to witnesses in a Senate impeachment trial, told reporters on Friday that she is working with a “fairly small group” of GOP senators as part of an effort to solidify support for witnesses in the impeachment trial in the Senate.

“I am hopeful that we can reach an agreement on how to proceed with the trial that will allow the opportunity for both the House and the president’s counsel if they choose to do so,” Collins said, according to Bangor Daily News.

While Collins did not indicate how many GOP senators comprised her group, she stressed that lawmakers should be “completely open to calling witnesses.”

Collins, along with Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), solidified Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s (R-KY) upper hand in the Senate after agreeing that the Senate should follow the precedent of former President Bill Clinton’s impeachment trial and make a decision on witnesses after opening arguments, rather than reaching a pre-trial agreement, which Democrats pushed.

“The process moved to a period during which the Senate debated and voted that three witnesses should be deposed. I believe that this process — the Clinton approach — worked well,” Collins told reporters, according to the Hill.

Having a trial or not having a trial both have advantages. Not having a trial lets the government and media get back to legislating and election stuff but having a trial will bring to light the unfair and criminal crap involving the Dems and anybody caught up in Ukraine and coup crap. I prefer a trial except for I’m sick of three years of Democrat smear tactics already. Finally, something needs to change in FISA and the impeachment dirty tricks so this isn’t the normal cycle of events. Heads need to roll for the coup d’etat attempt especially.

The DEMS have no intention fo giving Trump victories in legislation. While the MUeller investigation was going on, they did nothing. They didn’t stop Trump from getting done what he could. I’d like to see the DEMS and RINOS exposed for what they are. Congress does NOT determine SENATE rules and witnesses.

I don’t know what she is up to… If it is to have witnesses to allow Trump to VINDICATE himself,
then I am all for that. I don’t want the Senate to just vote and dismiss the entire thing. Till I know more,
I can’t praise or condemn her. I’d like to see a TRIAL! Shame the media, DEMS and RINOS for NOT wanting to allow Trump to vindicate himself.

If she and the other RINOS aren’t thrown out they should be voted out!! How anybody can look at the evidence and the shampeachment the Democrats have started is a mystery to me! The absolute waste of time, resources and money is a disgrace!

Well would be true if not for a few handfuls of decent political women that stand for Constitutional Conservative Americanism.

These righteous ladies are needed as role models to see what real American women act like.

Collins & Sanders, two reasons I boycott Maine and Vermont. Unfortunately with all of the Cambridge libs moving to these once proud states, there is little hope for them.
