Another glaring example of why Islamic countries are among the least developed cultures, stunted and backward. Hate trumps all. Their culture is primitive, and they resent Israel because it’s the sole beachhead of modern science and civilization on their continent.

Jordanian parliament votes down gas deal with Israel
Story continues below advertisementJordanian lawmakers are striking down an unpopular gas import deal made between the country’s state owned utility and Israeli gas companies. The Jordanian parliament reportedly proposed a law Sunday, banning gas imports from Israel. The law was passed unanimously with all 130 members in agreement.
Protests ensued after the deal was penned because the country’s residents believed their government went over their parliament’s head. Jordan’s state-owned utility company made the $10 billion supply deal in 2016 with a U.S.-Israel consortium led by Texas-based company Nobel Energy.
Protester Nadia al-Awadi shared her view on the government’s handling of the deal:
“We are here protesting against the gas deal, which has been signed in 2016 without the knowledge of the parliament and we want to send a message to the prime minister that it is enough with the humiliation and shame. How can we purchase our own (Palestinian) gas from them (Israelis) and pay with our own money? We send this message to them and we say enough with the humiliation, enough shame, enough selling our homelands.”
Lawmakers and protesters argue the deal makes Jordan dependent on a neighboring country. Legal hurdles may be problematic for opponents of the gas deal, but they believe it’s a step forward in stopping the agreement.

No problem Jordan should not exist as an Islamic country, but be a part of Israel.

Do not know why countries want to buy oil from the Middle East when you have USA, Russia producing more oil from the Middle East
Australia should be buying oil from USA than been stung huge time with oil coming from the Middle East, same with Israel and other non left countries

Any idea of how the USA stiffs Canada and gets our Oil for practically f***-all? While paid US lobbyists help pay the crooked gov’ts here to block any export pipelines to our East or West Coast? Google it.

Don’t they riot there when fuel prices rise? Good on them!
If they later come back begging for an agreement for oil, well it will cost more at the least, and at the pump.

Much of the problem is being caused by their king. The king is in hot water, because he’s more playboy than ruler and he has got to show he’s got some b–ls so he’s pretending to stand up to Israel;. He’ll probably end up being deposed and pure chaos will reign just like in almost every other Moslem country.

Here you see the stupid Islamic hive-mind in action. Any original thought is shot down. These mongoloids will stay stuck in the 7th century while humanity moves off this rock and colonizes the galaxy.
They’re so consumed with hate for Israel they’ll cut off their nose to spite their face. It reminds me of the joke:
“How many Palestinians does it take to change a lightbulb?”
“None, they all sit in the dark forever and blame the Jews for it!”
Muslims need to be sterilized so they can’t reproduce and keep spreading their backwardness, evil and retardation. If only Muslim women had the common sense to stop breeding.

Jordan was specifically asked to stay out of either the Six Day War or the Yom Kippur War (I forget which). They didn’t and got their asses handed to them for their efforts.
Also, in the 1980’s, Jordan allowed the PLO to establish terrorist training camps on Jordanian soil AND to use Jordanian terrortory as jumping off points for attacks against Israel. Eventually, it got so bad Israel was forced to invade Jordan to attack the PLO facilities there — because the Jordanian government did literally nothing to stop the terrorist attacks against Israel.

Be patient Israel the gas won’t disappear and will only increase in value as the years go by. Jordan is stuck with lots of so called palistinians to feed and house as they breed like cockroaches.

I’m a little surprised that Jordan went this way. They haven’t fought a war since 1967.
