Illegal Immigrant Crossings Fall 78% and Once Overcrowded Cells are Empty
“There are a lot of statistics Mark A. Morgan, acting U.S. Customs and Border Protection commissioner, uses to show how Trump policies have helped to cut illegal immigration into the United States”—but there are two that he thinks really make that accomplishment clear, Paul Bedard reports for the Washington Examiner.
“First is daily apprehensions, a number that hit 4,600 at the height of the latest crisis in May. That has now dropped to 1,300. What’s more, he said, the 21-daily average is below 1,000, a 78% cut.”
Story continues below advertisementSecond, detention facilities that once had five times more illegal immigrants in custody than beds available are now well below capacity. That’s good news for American citizens, legal immigrants, victims of human smuggling, and our law enforcement officers.

Hallelujah! Now I hope we can put up barriers that can significantly end or slow the illegal drugs that get into this country. We will have accomplished a lot, without the help of the Democrats. This all bides well for Trumps re-election.

There are still 40 million illegals and their children in the U.S. costing us TWO TRILLION 500 BILLION a year! Get rid of them and we can pay off the national debt, boost social security, and raise wages.

The flow of new illegals walking over from Mexico may of been temporarily halted, but we still have 60M+ illegals breeding like rabbits and 100M anchor babies turning the U.S. into a third world hellhole, with nukes, within 30 years.
