Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is a star. Perhaps the best governor in the United States. DeSantis has a 68 % approval rating in Florida. However, here is what should scare the Democrats. DeSantis’ approval rating with Latino voters and black voters is well above 60 percent. As is his approval rating with young people between the ages of 18-35.
He is proof that with the right candidate Republicans do not need to be underwater with minority voters. If the Republican party can replicate Ron DeSantis’ success with minority voters, then the Democrat Party is finished. If DeSantis can maintain his popularity he will surely run for POTUS in 2024.
New Poll Numbers Show Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis Is A Smash Hit

Newly released poll results show that Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis is wildly popular in the state as the majority of voters in all age, gender, race, and political demographics strongly approve him.
Reporter Ryan James Girdusky highlighted new poll results from New Saint Leo University, which found that DeSantis had a 68% approval rating compared to only a 20% disapproval rating.

National Review Senior Writer David Harsanyi noted this week that DeSantis is far from the outlier in terms of a Republican being wildly popular as a governor; in fact, DeSantis is not even ranked among the top-10 most popular governors in the United States — all of whom are Republicans.
“When it comes to governorships, Florida isn’t an outlier. The last time the Morning Consult poll tabulated a list of the most popular governors, the top 14 — and 18 of the top 20 — were Republicans. These Republicans govern in states that have highly diverse electorates, from Alabama to Vermont,” Harsanyi wrote. “Which is weird, because this very week, progressives at the New York Times and the Atlantic were assuring us that the GOP was so reviled nationally — and its agenda so toxic to the average American — that the party has been compelled to hide from ‘democratic accountability.’”
DeSantis beat far-left Democrat gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum, who was tangled up in an FBI corruption investigation, in November 2018 by approximately 33,000 votes.

I suspect next election that he won’t win again by only 33,000, but by a massive landslide.
Who ever saw such popularity numbers other than in countries where you better vote the government’s way, or your “vote” was pre-chosen in a government stuffed ballot box.
Where have all the Dem voters gone? Oops, I should have figured this out right away: north to a sanctuary city, sanctuary state, or California.

I would definitely consider voting for him! He is a terrible debater and I thought he’d lose but he is a GREAT GOVERNOR doing all the right things!!! He has guts and spine. He is now taking on COMMON CORE and trying to get rid of that too!!! Other states are just rebranding Common Core and by that continuing to poison the minds of our kids. He’s could make a great President. He has guts!

Ron DeSantis and Greg Abbott are two best governors in entire country. And literacy level in Florida and Texas is much higher than in Massachusetts.
DeSantis was endorsed by Allen West in 2018. Too bad about Matt Bevin. Matt also was a great governor.

Speaking of Matt Bevin (and although I don’t know too much about him), he must have had at least ONE “good reason” (???) for pardoning those murderers! I think a LOT of people are wondering WHY?!? If he had any future political plans, I think he pulled a couple of bonehead moves!

Could it be he does what’s right by his citizens and not what is popular?
Could it be he actually gets something done?

I live in Fl and DeSantis is a rino. Fl isn’t that far behind the insane gun control of Virginia. Our state started the red flag gun laws that are in fact a steady horrific jackbooted gun confiscation without due process. DeSantis chose the foul female demon democrat Miami legislator that wrote the bills for this red flag legislation, to be his Lt Governor. He refused to charge the Supervisor of Elections, Brenda Snipes with a single crime, after she blatantly committed some of the worst voter fraud in our state’s history. Because of her race. She even got to keep her state retirement! He has signed tax payer funded, protection from global warming legislation for our state. He won’t protect children from the sexual exploitation of drag queen story hour, or CPS child trafficking. He isn’t standing against Florida’s insane love affair with Islam and the continual terrorist attacks. He isn’t deporting the massive number of illegal aliens that keep flooding our state. Florida is in the top five states receiving illegals from the caravans who are awaiting their 2 year court dates for asylum. A rogue judge in Florida has been allowed to order our voter ballots to be printed in Spanish. He has not fought this that I’m aware of.
And btw, DeSantis only won by the very skin of his teeth, and that’s against an ultra socialist black democrat whose depraved policies are a mirror image of the traitor Barrack Hussein Obama. The election was so close that there had to be a recount.
I suspect that Fl will go blue in 2020.
