This is a simple matter of identification. Removing the hijab for mug shots is required for effective law enforcement, but that’s the point, is it not?
Anywhere Western law and Islamic law conflict, it is Western law that must give way. Ten tears ago, the Hamas-front group CAIR would never have attempted such a putsch on law enforcement. But after a decade of Western appeasement, submission, and self-flagellation over fictional tales of “islamophobia” in the face of endless jihad attacks and attempts, they’re emboldened. And now the total payout for cases like this one is at least $120,000. This is what your tax money is going for.

A Minnesota Muslim woman has received $120,000 to settle her lawsuit alleging she was forced to strip in jail and remove her hijab for a booking photo over a traffic offense, the woman and her attorneys said Tuesday.
Aida Shyef Al-Kadi appeared with her attorneys at the Minneapolis headquarters of the Council on American-Islamic Relations to announce the settlement approved last month.
Al-Kadi, 57, said her treatment at the Ramsey county jail in August 2013 was “one of the most humiliating and harmful experiences” of her life.
“I knew that I did not want any other Muslim woman to experience what I did,” she said.
A judge had issued a warrant for Al-Kadi’s arrest after she missed a court hearing over a traffic offense while taking her daughter to the hospital, the Star Tribune reported.
In her lawsuit, Al-Kadi argued that the county violated her constitutional rights and discriminated against her for her religious beliefs.
Al-Kadi was born and raised in Ohio. She moved to Minnesota in 2005 so her daughter could receive specialized medical care.
When Al-Kadi turned herself in, she said, she was told to remove her hijab and abaya, a long dress that covered her body, in front of male jailers. When she objected, she said, she was removed from the area and taken to a holding cell, where she removed her hijab in front of a male jailer.
She said she agreed to remove her headscarf for her booking photo after being told that the photo would never be released to the public. But months later, she found it on a third-party website that charges users to take down the photos.
After taking the photo, officers gave her a bedsheet to use as a hijab. Al-Kadi eventually was told to remove her abaya and change into a jail uniform, while two female officers watched her. Ramsey county policy says that misdemeanor inmates such as Al-Kadi “will not be viewed without clothing”, according to court records.
Under the settlement, the jail has put in place specific rules about how to accommodate inmates with religious headwear when taking booking photos. The county also agreed to destroy all hard copies and delete any electronic copies of Al-Kadi’s booking photo.
The settlement does not require the county to admit wrongdoing….

If foreigners (either born in America or not) are unwilling to be subject to our laws, they are welcome to seek residence in another country of their choice.Is-lam, specifically, needs to adapt to American ways. They all feel that Shar-ia law is superior to American law. If they want to live that way, go elsewhere where that is the law.

That needs to change. Try going to Saudi Arabia (the belly of the Beast) and demand that you be allowed to do something (like wearing a cross around your neck, or not being a Muslim) that contravenes their religion of “peace” and see how far you get. Without accountability to a higher power, there is no accountability. Without accountability, it is irrational to be moral. Everything is permitted – to you as it was to Ayn Rand. Your objectivism requires a faith on your part that your pursuit of self interest will indirectly benefit others. There is no morality required other than the pursuit of achievement. You can cheat as Ayn Rand did to Frank O’Conner with members of her ‘collective’.
Since we’re supposed to be talking about Islam here, what will you do when you are given the ‘convert or die’ choice? It would be irrational for you to choose death. You can be a smart, sophisticated objectivist and work within to promote reason but then, many Mohammedans are secretly atheist and it has absolutely no restraining effect upon Islam. What would you do since you have no religious incentive to resist evil and to give your life for others?

Mostafa Hussaini, 34, of Totowa, was arrested by federal agents in Florida after Miami cops were alerted to death threats made on his YouTube channel while he appeared to be staying in the Sunshine State, according to court documents.

“Imagine burning a black person, because I don’t like black people,” he says in one video posted on Dec. 8, during which he poured gasoline onto an open grill in a public space, according to the documents.
“This gasoline, imagine burning some black soldiers — they are going to look very black,” he said in the recording, claiming to be able to “burn thousands, millions of them.”

In other footage, Hussaini is seen at a car dealership bragging about how vehicles can be used in mass killings — while another shows him encouraging people to carry firearms “everywhere” in Miami.
“If you have a machine gun, bring your machine gun,” he says in the video, according to prosecutors.
“I don’t like blacks, Spanish, some white, but there is no whites in Miami,” he added.
In another posted in October, he even burned a parakeet to death — naming it “Jesus” as a symbol of the Christians he wants to kill, according to the documents.

Maybe when that starts happening, the people who help get muslims elected will begin opening their eyes to what they’ve done. The police are probably all Muslims. I was last in Dearborn about 2 years ago and felt totally out of place wearing ordinary Western garb and being the recipient of hostile stares. I have been to Turkey and to Iran and did not feel as out of place in either country as much as I did in Dearborn.

Stop trying to minimize it. You’re purposely ignoring the mitigating circumstances, the fact that she ignored a court summons, and got herself arrested for it. In our legal system, an arrest warrant gets you jailed, and you WILL get your picture taken in the booking process. I don’t know what your angle is, but that’s how it works, and that’s how it DID work here. Deal with it.

There are women’s prisons in Mohammedan countries; they operate as brothels. When Mohammedans humiliate fellow Mohammedan, it’s no big deal. When non-Muslims try to follow normal security protocol to prevent contraband from being introduced into the facility and produce an identifiable identity photo, it’s an unbearable humiliation for the proud daughters of the desert.
Here’s the law that Western law is giving way to: No filthy infidel can exercise authority over a proud Mohammedan. Any Mohammedan can do whatever they want to any non-Muslim; they have little to no recourse. If the filthy infidel pays a super tax called ‘jizya’, he may be tolerated but still abused. That’s what the $120,000 pay out functions as – a jizya!

It was over the fact that she FAILED to show up for her traffic ticket. You have show up for your hearing or PAY before. If NOT then you are a criminal according every state and they put out warrants at that time to have you arrested and brought in. Every state has the right to bring you in at the time of the infraction and they only let you go because you state that you will appear for your court date. If you are arrested they take your picture…period.

At the risk of getting some backlash. There are tow fundamental situations going on here and we should not mix them. This woman is sueing because she had to strip off in front of male officers which cannot be right. She is entitled the same as american woman, to be treated with respect even if she has broken the law. The fact that she is a muslim woman and does not fit in to western culture, does not give anyone the right to abuse her rights. If we do think it is acceptable to abuse her rights then we are no better than the savages islam creates and we need to maintain our moral respectable ground or we too are lost in our fight for freedom.

There were some lapses perhaps in being polite to a misdemeanor offense allegation but what did she do to cause them concern in that jail is a question that should be asked! The major thing I can see that she could get them for was allowing male guards to observe her undressing when it should have been strictly female guards dealing with her but I have a feeling the jail personnel were afraid that this unassimilated Muslim DESPITE THE FACT SHE GREW UP IN THE USA might pull out a gun or something! NO WAY SHE SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN OVER $100 K FOR THE LAPSES IN PROCEDURE!
Fact is I could see expunging her misdemeanor and giving her $500 for this lapse as an American citizen who should have been handled better but HOW MUCH WOULD A NON-MUSLIM HAVE GOTTEN & HOW WAS THIS LADY ACTING THAT THE JAIL HAD REASON TO BELIEVE SHE NEEDED CLOSE OBSERVATION BY THE MOST EXPERIENCED GUARDS? How much is CAIR getting of that $120 K? CAIR should not be able to get more than 50% of any settlement they get and also as an acknowledged terrorist org, WHY IS CAIR BEING ALLOWED TO OPERATE THE WAY THEY DO IN THIS COUNTRY?

The question should really be “Who approved this settlement?” If taken to trial a jury would most probably found for the defendant jail or county. Most probably the settlement was approved by another Muslim or one closely associated and supportive of Islam.
