Justin Trudeau Wants ‘Significant Penalties’ for Social Media ‘Hate Speech’

Who defines “hate speech”?

The regulators start out banning “radicalization, incitement to violence, exploitation of children, or creation or distribution of terrorist propaganda.” And then end up banning anything which Muslim groups find offensive.
It is worth fighting that fight.

  The United States was founded in violent rebellion and defiance against a horrendous tyrant.

  Canada was founded in cowering and grovelling before that very same tyrant.

  This story is just one more example of the difference that this has made.  It takes a nation with its origins in kissing a tyrant’s ass to produce Gillettized pussies like Mr. Trudeau, and to allow them to rise to positions of power and influence.

The USMCA treats Internet providers as platforms, not publisher. Ergo, according to the USMCA he can’t punish the publishers for something a user posted, much like you can’t hold the telephone company responsible for what is said over the telephone.

Now, if Trudeau or his ministers had read the USMCA and told him what was in it, maybe he would have known this little tidbit of information.

Remember, Trudeau is the one who once said that he doesn’t read newspapers or listen to the news. If something important comes up someone will tell him about it. So why would he have read the USMCA? After all, no pictures or super heros – he loves his comic books. Getting a synopsis as in “Trade good.
