Kanye West encourages black Americans not to vote for Democrats: ‘That’s not the power’

Kanye West encouraged black voters in the United States not to vote for Democrats at an event in New York City.
Story continues below advertisementThe 42-year-old musician and fashion mogul spoke at an impromptu event on Thursday where he got candid once again about politics after previously declaring his support for President Donald Trump.
According to Page Six, West advised black voters: “Own your power. Your power is not to just vote Democrat for the rest of our lives. That’s not the power.”
He continued: “The power is when I talk to my lawyer … I put on my trench coat and said, ‘We’re moving these factories to America, and that’s how it’s going to be’ — and it’s lovely.”
The “Jesus Is King” rapper debuted a new algae sneaker from his popular Yeezy line and noted that he wants the product to be a beacon of American manufacturing.

“We moved the headquarters to Cody, Wyo…Our goal is to bring the manufacturing back to America — South America, North America — bring it back Stateside and to present jobs for people back here.”
During his appearance at the Fast Company Innovation Festival that same day, he revived speculation that he may seek the highest office in the land.
“When I run for president in 2024, we’re going to definitely- yo whatchu all laughing at?” West reacted to the laughing crowd. “When I run for president in 2024, we would’ve created so many jobs that, in fact, I’m going to walk.
“What I’m saying is, when y’all read the headlines, ‘Kanye’s crazy,’ this and that, this and that, it’s like one in three African Americans are in jail and all of the celebrities are in jail also because they can’t say nothing! They’ve got no opinion! They’re so scared!”
West has floated the idea of a presidential run multiple times in recent months.
Last year, West caused a firestorm when he donned a “Make America Great Again” hat and visited President Trump in the Oval Office.
His latest album “Jesus is King” hit #1 on Billboard and every song on the album made its way onto Billboard’s Hot 100.

Here I respectfully disagree. I also started respecting Kanye, however I believe Allen West 2024 will be the best choice. I trust tough military guy who will not sell out the Conservative program and will BULLDOZE libtards.

Kanye West is an interesting guy. I hope his conversion is real and lasting.
He had a MAJOR problem with PORNOGRAPHY!!! He was a serious addict and it helps explain the extreme
cosmetic surgery and outfits his wife wears. She is apparently started to get on board too.
Over the last several years, Kanye West has undergone a transformation from a rapper singing about women and alcohol to a Gospel artist praising Jesus Christ. The turn-around, for this influential celebrity, has been nothing short of miraculous.

During a recent interview on a radio program, Kanye spoke about family values and the evils of abortion.
“What are you talking about guns in the 80s, taking the fathers out the home,
Plan B, lowering our votes, making us abort children.”
These strong words – which are concrete evidence of a sincere conversion – even got the attention of Planned Parenthood, who falsely disputed Kanye’s correct reference to Plan B’s potential to act as an abortifacient.
He also said that the proponents of “cancel culture” are “telling you that you can’t have a right to say who you will vote for,” and “will be soon to take Jesus out of school,” to “remove Jesus, period, from America, which is the Bible Belt.”
In another interview with host Zane Lowe, West opened up about a “full-on pornography addiction” he says haunted him ever since he stumbled across an issue of Playboy as a small child.
“It’s affected almost every choice I made for the rest of my life,” he said. “From age five till now having to kick the habit. And it just presents itself in the open like it’s okay and I stand up and say, ‘No, it’s not okay.’”
Kanye said: “Now that I’m in service to Christ, my job is to spread the Gospel, to let people know what Jesus has done for me.”
He continued: “I’ve spread a lot of things. There was a time I was letting you know what high fashion had done for me, I was letting you know what the Hennessey had done for me, but now I’m letting you know what Jesus has done for me, and in that I’m no longer a slave, I’m a son now, a son of God. I’m free.”

If someone is in “service to Christ” who is to say they aren’t. However……the fact that he is broadcasting how great he is, is questionable. Until he starts donating his time or money, quietly, to charities, his motives will remain in question. Also, how can he be in “service to Christ” married to a woman who is anything BUT that.

There are too many “preachers” out there in it for the money. I sure can’t see his heart but I can look at his actions. I hope it is real. Time will tell… He seemed to be struggling. Maybe he has found peace in his life.
As for his wife, it explains to me that extreme exaggerated body surgery and dress. It’s degrading.
Pornography degrades males and females and all others that participate in it. Many addicted to pornography begin to view females or what ever type of porn they are addicted to in a degrading vile way as objects. My hope is she willingly cleans up her act too. We’ll see…

I like Kanye West more and more. Once Trump is gone maybe Kanye West wouldn’t be such a bad choice for POTUS? Unless Col. Allen West decides to run.

It’s all very nice this Kanye character is waving the Trump flag, etc. But, am I the only one who thinks this whole charade stinks. He wants to bring manufacturing back to America. Great! But, he managed to slip in that he needs workers in HIS factories. How convenient. I’m sure hes going to pay them top dollar, right? How can anyone take this clown seriously when hes married to the most plastic, fake, self-absorbed woman on the planet. This whole ‘Ra, ra, Trump’ thing has the feel of a very well orchestrated marketing ploy to make this dude even more millions. And Trump should have kicked his ass off the White House grounds, with a lifetime ban, after Kanye boasted he will run for President. What a joke!

First, he didn’t say he’d run for President against Trump.
Second, if he leads even one lost soul to Jesus he is a hero.
Third, you must be the most cynical and unhappy person I’ve seen on these stories.
I feel sorry for you.
It takes all kinds of people to make a nation and to believe in God and Jesus. Sorry you don’t like Jesus’ choice for a spokesperson. He was selected because he speaks the language of his kind of people. If you want to convert people in Africa….you don’t send someone who only speaks Spanish.

I’m neither cynical, nor unhappy. Thank for your concern, though. I just call it the way I see it. Why do you have such a hard time accepting an opposing viewpoint. Are you one of those Christians who takes it as a personal affront if someone’s credibility is questioned? Why are YOU so offended if his sincerity is questioned?
If Mr. Kanye is truly working in service of Christ, good for him. It’s certainly not unreasonable to doubt his motives, given his background. He is not above scrutiny. And you’re defending someone who erected a statue, representing himself as Jesus, with a crown of thorns and nails through his hands on Hollywood blvd, as a righteous person? Talk about putting oneself out there as a false idol. That is anything BUT a person who is in service to Christ. In fact, I’ll go one step further and say he is being led by the devil to deceive everyone into believing he is one with Christ. The devil does that, in case you didn’t know. Read up on it.
You call him ‘Jesus’ choice for a spokesperson?’ Are you serious? I feel sorry for you that you would be so gullible in to believing such garbage from a charlatan. He’s a showman and now you think he walks and talks with God because HE said so? Wow! You need to wake up.
