“Impeachment” Cover-Up: Star Witness Alexander Vindman Admits Making up Trump Call Summary

Alexander Vindman Admits Making up Parts of Trump Call Summary

National Security Council aide Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman testifies before the House

Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman admitted he made up elements of President Donald Trump’s call with Ukranian President Volodymyr Zelensky in an official summary.

Prior to the call, Vindman included a discussion about corruption in the talking points provided to the president but Trump did not use them in the call.

Story continues below advertisement

The summary Vindman wrote after the call read:

President Trump underscored the unwavering support of the United States for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity – within its internationally recognized borders – and expressed his commitment to work together with President-elect Zelenskyy and the Ukrainian people to implement reforms that strengthen democracy, increase prosperity, and root out corruption.

But Vindman clarified during his testimony that the president did not bring up the topic rooting out corruption during the phone call, but he included it in his summary of the call anyway.

When asked by the Democrat counsel about whether the summary he wrote was false, Vindman hesitated.

“That’s not entirely accurate, but I’m not sure I would describe it as false, it was consistent with U.S. policy,” Vindman said.

Vindman said he included the rhetoric about corruption as a “messaging platform” to describe U.S. policy toward Ukraine, even though it was not discussed on the call.

I see a courts martial and dishonourable discharge in Alexander Vindman’s very near future.

Yes sir. I think the same of Obama as I do Soros. I believe both are in sore need of prosecution and imprisonment. Sadly, this will never happen as the left is growing and conservatism i shrinking. Our colleges are now mass indoctrination centers for the left. Also, something fishy about Vindman as he changed his testimony. Maybe some of that Soros money “enhanced his memory.

It’s not simply the colleges that are indoctrination centers. If it’s a public school, the indoctrination starts in kindergarten.

You are correct. It’s even worse because young children can’t decide for themselves what the true really is and once indoctrinated they are leftist bound. The amazing thing to me is that college students who are supposed to figure stuff out just go with the flow and believe whatever they’re told. lazy learning.

If those evaluations occured during the obimbo administration, I’m quite certain that a limp, deceptive, “flexible” and malleable (and especially left-leaning) officer would have been pushed to the front and promoted gleefully by the officer leadership core who were increasingly beholden to obimbo. It’s all a part of the program to weaken our military and other important institutions and our national moral fiber in general. Also, morally squishy officers (& politicians) are much likelier to support Democrat causes and join the war against all things Conservative.

No, Laura, not everything inaccurate is a lie. If I recall my grade school ditty of:

Columbus sailed the deep blue sea
In fourteen hundred ninety three

and cite 1493 as the year Columbus discovered the New World, well it may be that I plugged in the wrong ditty. A lie denotes an intent to deceive. Based on what is reported here, and lacking the context, I’d say it certainly is misleading, but at this point, to call it a lie is a rush to judgment.

Do you understand the context here? Do you know what the is the typical role of someone in his position in regard to these calls? Was is the purpose of his “summary”- is it intended to be an actual reflection of what POTUS said, or may it typically reflect stated policy, as he suggests may be the case?

I don’t know the answer to those questions. But unless you do, you cannot say with any degree of certainty that his “summary” was made with intent to deceive. Unfortunately, Pamela’s article doesn’t help in addressing the kinds of questions I would like see addressed. Like so many here, you appear to simply believe whatever suits your fancy.

Adding stuff up to add to the summary sure seems like intent to deceive. In other commitments I acknowledge the difference between a mistake and a deliberate lie.

I’ll bet you’ve been called out as a “banal goon” before. Further, I’ll bet that hurt so bad. Maybe you should forgive the person who embarrassed you by calling you out, and then stop acting like a… like a banal goon. Then the impulse to insult without cause those who disagree with you will diminish.

Thank you for your (not so) keen psychological insight.

Just what utter stupidity I am met with here. The counter-jihad movement is not a bunch of idiots, but I certainly encounter plenty of them here.

I noticed you couldn’t bestir yourself to address the questions I posed. How do you even know, for certain, that the purpose of the document is to simply record the conversation? It may be, but I don’t know that- Pamela doesn’t address that. I’m pretty sure if this were a big misstep, Republicans on the Committee would have been all over it- but they are not. How you people think you have any opinions worth considering is beyond me.

By the way, I insult in response to insults, and I offer a rationale, which you cannot be bothered to do. I do not resort to insults as a first tactic. You come across as a person of low intellectual achievement.

In the VAST majority of instances, you are the FIRST to commence with insults. You do answer insults with insults. However, typically, you are the first to toss out an insult. But is it “inaccurate”? Look, I don’t know the purpose of the document. Moreover, nobody here has said why his addition of a description of US policy on the matter at hand violates the purpose of the document. People merely blithely call it a summary. Well if it truly was intended as a summary of the conversation, and nothing more, then it does seem deceptive.

My main point here is that people on this site have a pronounced tendency to make extreme judgments based on insufficient evidence.

The call summary for person X is supposed to be the best recall of person X about the actual content of the call. What they heard.
Then a compiler assembles a single summary combining everyone’s recall.

All of that, to avoid an actual recording. This is a policy in place since after Watergate.

Head Quarters, Cambridge, July 7, 1775.
Parole Dorchester. Countersign Exeter.
It is with inexpressible Concern that the General upon his first Arrival in the army, should find an
Officer sentenced by a General Court-Martial to be cashier’d for Cowardice. A Crime of all others, the most infamous in a Soldier, the most injurious to an Army, and the last to be forgiven; inasmuch as it may, and often does happen, that the Cowardice of a single Officer may prove the Distruction of the whole Army: The General therefore (tho’with great Concern, and more especially, as the Transaction happened before he had the Command of the Troops) thinks himself obliged for the good of the service, to approve the Judgment of the Court-Martial with respect to Capt. John Callender, who is hereby sentenced to be cashiered. Capt. John Callender is accordingly cashiered and dismiss’d from all farther service in the Continental Army as an Officer. The General having made all due inquiries, and maturely consider’d this matter is to led to the above determination not only from the particular Guilt of Capt. Callender, but the fatal Consequences of such Conduct to the army and to the cause of America.

He now therefore most earnestly exhorts Officers of all Ranks to shew an example of Bravery and
Courage to their men; assuring them that such as do their duty in the day of Battle, as brave and good Officers, shall be honor’d with every mark of distinction and regard; their names and merits made known to the General Congress and all America: while on the other hand, he positively declares that every Officer, be his rank what it may, who shall betray his Country, dishonour the Army and his General, by basely keeping back and shrinking from his duty in any
engagment; shall be held up as an infamous Coward and punish’d as such, with the utmost martial severity; and no Connections, Interest or Intercessions in his behalf will avail to prevent the strict execution of justice. . . .

So Vindman decides what US policy is?

Vindman committed perjury and lying to Congress under oath today. He said that eventually (after leaking to several others) he eventually told his boss, about his concerns regarding Trump or something. But in his boss’ deposition, his boss says he was NEVER told.

Also I’m told that Vindman is retired from the military so he is no longer a Lt. Colonel, and that according to military regulations it was improper for him to wear his old uniform in today’s setting.

If we cannot TRUST those in authority over us, WHAT IS THE POINT OF EVEN HAVING LEADERS? Personally, I trust in GOD first over my life. So this officer falsified an official report and a statement while under oath. It is time for the Convening Authority (usually a General Grade Officer) to start the Article 32 Investigation (similar to a grand jury) and then based upon those findings convene a Court Marshal. Given what we know he would be found guilty by his own omission. I do want to see Vindman given the option of retirement or court marshal. He should not be allowed to retire with full benefits.

Democrat Party = Modern day Pharisees, “who were so full of lies that they could not believe the truth.”

Truth is key to living as a disciple of the Christ. He said in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by me.” But if one doesn’t recognize or discern truth, there are consequences. Deception is an art in of itself. What you are seeing and hearing every day is deception. A little bit of truth makes a better lie. So if politicians and the news media can weave just a mustard seed of truth into their narrative, it supports the lie they want you to accept. Christ confronted the Pharisees in John 8:44-45, “You are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. And because I tell you the truth, you believe me not.” ”

ADAM SCHIFF and his comrades ARE LIARS and if the American people do not look at these people SPIRITUALLY, they will never be able to understand how or why this Impeachment hearing of President Trump is happening. IT IS HAPPENING BECAUSE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE ALLOWING IT TO HAPPEN. Turn off CNN, MSNBC and the other lying networks, and contact your Politicians and tell them to STOP THIS NONSENSE. It WILL divide our Nation further if this all continues against our President and there will be CONSEQUENCES in every realm, including SPIRITUALLY.

One thing that has not been brought up is the 1999 Anti-corruption Treaty signed by Slick Willie. The treaty states that both countries, U.S. and Ukraine, will help each other in investigations into corruption in each other’s countries. Exactly what Trump was talking about!!! Nothing illegal here!

How does this clown still have a job? He has clearly broken multiple laws. he must be prosecuted. Enough of this BS. This guy filed a false report, likely to obstruct justice. Both of those are felonies

One– This man came dressed in a Military Costume to a Clown’s festival. I doubt he had permission from his commander to do this. THUS he BROKE Military LAW. Court Marshal is in order.
TWO– This man BROKE Constitutional LAW and GAVE Government documents, even if verbal, to another person OUTSIDE of his unit. Court Marshal time for him for a SUBVERSIVE ACTION!!!

Impeachment effort over nuanced speculation, aka purposeful misdirection, innuendo, and lies all motivated by an agenda.
