House Ethics Committee announced it’s investigating Jihad-Rep. Rashida Tlaib

The idea that Tlaib or Omar et al must adhere to rule of law will be met with howls of ‘islamophobia.’

BREAKING: Congress Releases Messages Showing Tlaib Asked Campaign For Personal Money, Announces Investigation Into Her

BY: Ryan Saavedra, Daily Wire, November 14, 2019:

The House Ethics Committee announced on Thursday that it is investigating Democrat Rep. Rashida Tlaib (MI) 0ver internal messages that she allegedly sent in 2018 asking her congressional campaign for money for personal expenses, which is a potential crime.

Story continues below advertisement

The announcement came in response to a referral that the committee received from the Office of Congressional Ethics (OCE), which alleged: “Rep. Tlaib’s campaign committee, Rashida Tlaibfor Congress, reported campaign disbursements that may not be legitimate and verifiablecampaign expenditures attributable to bona fide campaign or political purposes. If Rep. Tlaibconverted campaign funds from Rashida Tlaib for Congress to personal use, or if Rep. Tlaib’scampaign committee expended funds that were not attributable to bona fide campaign or political purposes, then Rep. Tlaib may have violated House rules, standards of conduct, and federal law.”The OCE recommended that Tlaib be investigated “because there is substantial reason to believe that Rep. Tlaib converted campaign funds from Rashida Tlaib for Congress to personal use or Rep. Tlaib’s campaign committee expended funds that were not attributable to bona fide campaign or political purposes.”

“Texts and emails released by the Ethics Committee show Tlaib frantically contacting members of her staff for financial help,” Fox News’ Gregg Re reported. “The OCE also attached scans of checks made out to Tlaib from her campaign, totaling thousands of dollars.”

“I am struggling financially right now. … I am sinking,” Tlaib wrote on April 4, 2018, later adding, “So I was thinking the campaign could loan me money, but Ryan said that the committee could actually pay me. I was thinking a one time payment of 5k.”

In another email dated April 27, 2018, Tlaib wrote,  “I am just not going to make it through the campaign without a stipend. With the loss of a second income to lean back on, I am requesting $2,000 per two weeks but not exceeding $12,000. The cost of living stipend is going towards much needed expenses due to campaigning that includes car maintenance, child care and other necessities.”

Fox News also highlighted a text message exchange that Tlaib had with her future chief of staff Ryan Anderson and her future senior aide Andy Goddeeris:

Tlaib: “Sorry for the early text but do you think the campaign can still pay me a stipend until the general. Trying to get out of debt.”

Anderson: “I think we definitely afford to do so. But we need to really clearly define your time and space if you’re also working at Sugar, the combo might draw the most concern.”

Goddeeris: “I think if you’re going to take a salary from the campaign, which I think you should, you should think hard about whether you need to be working part time at Sugar, because if you didn’t like the media’s reaction to you taking a salary while campaigning full time you probably won’t like the story that Rashida is paying herself from the campaign while getting paid by her job.

Tlaib is no stranger to controversy as she has repeatedly been in the national spotlight over her anti-Semitic beliefs and statements.

Late this summer, Israel banned Tlaib and Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar (MN) from entering the country, “stating that the two far-left members of Congress planned to harm Israel, increase incitement against it, and planned to meet with organizations that have expressed support for terrorism against it,” The Daily Wire reported.

It’s unfortunate that the Republicans are so naive and soft on the Left. If Trump wasn’t so easy-going he’d notice that Tliab and Omar are out to destroy him, his family and the US. If their positions were reversed, Tliab would’ve found a way to throw Trump out of office if not jailed on fake charges.

The morons trying to impeach him are bad enough, but the Muslims in gov’t are there with a very real agenda. They want to either defeat America or preferably have Muslims take over the US govt and Islamify the country, they’ll consider that a victory for their moon-god Allah.

When are we going to get serious about Islam? Muslims are not one of us, they never will be, they are the enemy within. One only needs to see how they treat non-Muslims in Nigeria to see what they’d do to us if they got the upper hand.

Indeed. And GW Bush, the flaming internationalist and Skull and Bones devotee, really got that ball rolling 2001-2009.

For sure and Obama made it ever worse. He created ISIS, funded the terrorist Iranian regime, backed the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and still hasn’t paid for any of his crimes and treason.

Nor have the treasonous anti-Constitution Trump-haters paying any dues. They are still walking and talking. Action needs to be taken by Barr and others so committed before it will be too late to stop them.

Personally I am not optimistic about a favorable outcome for the President because it is assumed that the Trump-hating, deep state bureaucracy will do right after Barr and Durham finally release details.

Agreed my friend, it might come down to that some day, if the stupid elites don’t wake up and deal with the Islamic elephant in the room.

As well as how many European/Scandinavian countries – constant upheaval,Strife, murder – wherever they go this is their ” contribution ” to the rest of the planet – we should close and ban every last mosque in this country.Until a Christian Church and or Jewish Synagogue is allowed to be built in a muslim country on a one for one basis, with their adherents guaranteed safety from all manners of persecution/harassment when the muslims agree to that – then allow them to build/open a mosque here. It’ll be a snowy day in hell when that happens..

House Ethics Committee?

I thought the Republicans eliminated that on their first order of business in January 2017?

I’ll have to check……….brb
…………………………………………Yup! Trump and his voters stopped that RINO BS!

House Republicans, Under Fire, Back Down on Gutting Ethics Office
By Eric Lipton and Matt Flegenheimer – Jan. 3, 2017

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/01/03/us/politics/trump-house-ethics-office.html

WASHINGTON — It was supposed to be a triumphant morning for Republicans on Capitol Hill — a moment to demonstrate the merits of unified party rule in the age of Donald J. Trump. By noon, party leaders had a message for their charges: It was not going smoothly.

The day after House Republicans voted to eliminate an independent ethics body, members returned to work on Tuesday to find their offices inundated with angry missives from constituents amid a national uproar.

By midmorning, Mr. Trump had weighed in, questioning the members’ priorities on Twitter. Shortly after, lawmakers were summoned to the basement of the Capitol for a hastily convened meeting with Republican leaders.

Representative Kevin McCarthy of California, the majority leader — who, along with Speaker Paul D. Ryan, had opposed the proposal — lobbed a pointed question at his fellow Republicans, according to two people present: Had they campaigned on repealing the Affordable Care Act, or tinkering with an ethics office? Minutes later, members emerged to say the changes had been scrapped.

The reversal came less than 24 hours after House Republicans, meeting in a secret session, voted to curtail the powers of the Office of Congressional Ethics, an independent body created in 2008 after a series of scandals involving House lawmakers, including three who were sent to jail.

The House Ethics committee: is a joke with no punchline, and a dog with all bark and no bite……useless twits.
Another waste of time and money.
Investigate away for the info that will remove her at end of term.

The GOP RINO’s still thought they had eliminated that office two years ago.

Whats the big deal. Omar and AOC have been found to have done funny business with campaign funds and nothing has happened. Omar has been found to have lied when she came to the US, and still nothing has happened.

Tliab’s funding no-nos will probably be ignored by the main stream media, ergo 99% of the people will not know about her illegal doings.

But Trump not accepting pay as president, and offering to have an international conference at his Mar-a-largo resort, essentially for free, is blasted as him illegally profiting from his position. Yea. Right. Its like Clinton (the rapist) didn’t charge for having the Secret Service bivwacked in a guest house. Oh right, he did.

Just call yourself a Democrat and you are free to do as you wish.
