High Security Required in US Synagogues over Jewish Holiday

High Security Awareness in US Synagogues over Holiday

By Jewish Press, October 1, 2019:

Story continues below advertisement

NY State Governor Andrew Cuomo on Monday ordered an increase of police patrols outside synagogues during Rosh Hashanah, and next week, during Yom Kippur.

The government said in a statement: “Out of an abundance of caution and following a number of appalling anti-Semitic incidents over the past year I am directing the State Police to increase patrols at synagogues and other religious centers across our state.”

While wishing everyone “safe, happy holidays,” Gov. Cuomo stressed: “We will not allow the cowards who contributed to the recent rash of hateful acts against the Jewish community and other groups to intimidate or divide us. In New York, we value diversity, inclusion and acceptance — and I want to assure our Jewish brothers and sisters that New York stands united with them now and always.”

Following the Oct. 27 mass shooting at the Tree of Life synagogue in Squirrel Hill, Pittsburgh, PA, the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh hired armed guards to secure synagogues around town, and installed alarms, cameras and alert buttons, ahead of Rosh Hashanah.

While there have been terrorist attacks against synagogues in the USA they have been nothing like what the f’ing muslums in Turkey did to two synagogues in Istanbul, Turkey on the same day in 2003 when muslums detonated two car bombs killing 23 people. Both these synagogues were specially constructed to withstand bomb attacks as well (no one here should have to ask why).
But what’s perhaps worse than the bombings are the amazingly light sentences passed on to the vast majority of the muslum defendants (from 3 to 6 years). 26 defendants were acquitted. The defendants that were never caught were sentenced in absentia to much longer sentences, but they were never caught and I have to wonder why they were never caught.

It’s impossible to defend everything and as time goes on the rotten, decaying, degenerate atheist West will no longer have the resources to protect Jews from f’ing muslums and I point to Malmo, Swedenistan and Fwance as proof of that.

The folks in our synagogue are mostly military veterans, scientists, craftsmen and generally industrious conservative Americans. Oh. And we are mostly armed, practiced and aware of how evil creeps around our world. The idea that government should in some way come baby sit us is silly. We are adults and capable of attending to our own well being. I would think any rational freemen would address any heightened threat by being better armed.

Privately owned firearms wouldn’t have helped the Jews who were blown up in the two synagogues in Istanbul Turkey in 2003 because the drivers of the vehicles packed w/explosives died in the resultant explosions as martyrs to allah the barbarian.

What a horrible thought to have bomb sniffing dogs clear a synagogue or church before people can enter. Even with that, I am sure there are other things they can do that won’t be detected. What have we come to?

Bomb sniffing dogs wouldn’t have helped in the muslum attack on synagogues in Istanbul either — the muslums drove up their bomb laden vehicles after services had already started and immediately detonated their explosive payloads.

Better than that, deport all muslims, citizens or not.

my church now pays to an armed off-duty policeman at our services. this was unheard of before this country elected and re-elected the muslim. let’s get this civil war started. we just simply need to identify and eliminate the people who created this mess in my country

I found the police mini-bus with a few policemen standing next to my Synagogue yesterday, on the First Day of Rosh Hashana.
And one armed officer was standing right next to the door, and verified the visitors in accordance with the list, we’ve filled out( We were sent the reservation forms to confirm the attendance before the Holiday). I think it’s absolutely correct decision in order to prevent the potential tragedies. I would attend anyway though. Of course it’s all terrible, but a la ger com a la ger. Thanking ovomint and his cabal. All these dirt must be deported. Before it’s too late.

When December rolls around they need to continue this and
if churches don’t already have armed protection, then they also need to do this.

Living in Panama I am always impressed by the security provided Jewish schools and Synagogues provided at great expense to the Jewish community but they feel they need it especially with the growing population of Muslims spreading everywhere in Central and South America.

I would hope the police are ordered to keep the violent and hateful muslimes in check.
