A Maricopa County Superior Court judge on Thursday ordered 18-year-old Ismail Hamad of Fountain Hills be placed on house arrest and get an electronic monitor until his trial starts next year.

PHOENIX (AP) – An Arizona man facing a terrorism charge has been released from jail as he awaits trial.

A Maricopa County Superior Court judge on Thursday ordered 18-year-old Ismail Hamad of Fountain Hills be placed on house arrest and get an electronic monitor until his trial starts next year.

The trial had been scheduled to begin later this month, but has been pushed back until May 14, 2020.

Hamad was indicted on two charges of terrorism for allegedly providing assistance to the Islamic State and engaging in an act of terrorism.

He also was charged with aggravated assault for brandishing a knife and throwing rocks at a county sheriff’s sergeant in a Jan. 7 encounter outside a Fountain Hills substation.

Hamad was shot and wounded after ignoring warnings to drop the weapon.

The peace officer that shot and wounded this boar hog (male moslem) needs FAR more time at the range.

Whatever happened to “two shots” with a 9mm? The only good thing about 9mm is the ready availability of ammunition which tells much. Failing this will just waste infidel money.

I’ve seen a 9mm take down an elk, in one shot … FMJ at that. It’s not nearly so much the caliber, as it’s the marksman.

Even a .22 can bring down anything if in the right place and yes I did so with a wild boar and not by choice. I was very lucky. In the near chaotic future which I fully expect to happen within 10 years it will be availability that dominates 9mm/308/.22/12g. Your defining point: marksmanship is quite correct but how many people have this ability sufficiently to make a difference?

I don’t know .. I was shooting sparrows (terrible pest on a working farm) and squirrel hunting when I was six. Sparrows are not the largest of prey … never considered marksmanship to be rocket science. I turn sixty-six the 22nd of this month and I can still run a round of skeet with a 28 gauge, although challenged with .410 bore competition, my eyes ain’t what they used to be, but open bore (12 ga) 20 and 28, not shooting as well as in my twenties, thirties, forties, or fifties, but I outshoot, to this day, most thirty-somethings.
Better to carry a .22 than nothing at all. A .44 Magnum doesn’t do you any good if it’s sitting in the safe.

Agreed totally .I spent my early days on a farm and pigs and foxes were a real problem.I omitted .223 or 5.56 even though it is now more military than before as there should be a lot of it around once it all hits the fan although it is not recommended for pigs I can assure you as that is why I know the .22 hit was pure luck.

Be careful what you order. If chambered for 5.56 mm, it will take .223. However, if chambered for the caliber, it won’t take the millimeter.
That ammunition is dirt cheap right now. I have a Remington 700, stainless steel with bull barrel, in .223. Although, not the best of varmint rounds, but that ammo is SO cheap. Quantities of two thousand, or more, gets you down to around $0.22 per round, with brass case (reloadable). With cheap Russian/East European steel cases … quantities of 500 will drop you to $0.17. You cannot reload for too much less than that.

The .223 and 5.56 are the same size. The difference is the pressures. The 5.56 has a higher pressure than the .223, which is why you do not want to shoot 5.56 in a .223 chambered rifle. Possible kaboom!. Kaboom bad.

I have .556 mm for my Scary Black Gun and once, mistakenly, loaded the small magazine of the Remington 700 (chambered for .223). They wouldn’t cycle. The extractor simply wouldn’t “extract” the 5.56. I don’t know about anything other than that.

Achmed, get the .223 Wylde barrel. It works for both. And, maintains the .223’s accuracy.

I have no problems with accuracy. Last year, I was set up for prairie dogs, in the back of a pickemup truck. 400(+) yards and nary a miss. Plus, this a Remington 700. Stainless and bull barrel aside, I ain’t tossin’ any money at a 700.

Ahh I did not know that about 5’56 into .223. Thx. I w as aware of potential 308/7.62 conflict but never tried myself. I did once try to load a 30/06 round into a 308 with much laughter from certain adults but I was only 10 and it was a set up.

I’ve always envied those, exposed to center fire, at an early age. In Iowa, deer could only be hunted with shotgun. At first, buckshot or slug. Then, slug only. A ten year old child is to be instructed, not “set up”. Was it brothers, sisters, or mean neighbor kids, all older of course?

That’s how the refugees get in by saying they are teenagers. The POS terrorist is most likely 30+. Funny how they don’t identify his status!

Can’t fix STUPID with these ignorant libturds!!!! Send his ass to GITMO until his trial!!!! Deputy should have given him real lead poisoning!

Out of Jail and into House arrest? He will view this as Allah’s call to return to violent Jihad in America.

We Zonies are lawfully armed. Let this IslamoTango threaten somebody, and that “somebody” will most likely take him down,, saving Maricopa County a fortune in investigation, trial, imprisonment, Halal diet, medical care, housing, clothing, etc.

I will say what I always say in these situations: “I bet the terrorist does not live in the judge’s neighborhood. The judge will not have to deal with the results of his decision.”

Next they’ll say he’s ‘mentally ill’ and give him some Quran lessons on how to kill infidels with an Imam as his punishment.

Who is crazier, the Muslims trying to slaughter all of us or the retards that bow to these would-be murderers?
