‘He was trying to get as many people as he could’: Man is arrested over ‘terror attack’ after knifeman stabs four people as he ran around ‘lunging’ at shoppers in Manchester’s Arndale Centre
Counter-terror police have today shut down Manchester’s Arndale shopping centre after four people were stabbed by a man who was sprinting around ‘lunging at people with a knife’.
Shoppers ran for cover and barricaded themselves into stores after a man reportedly shouted racist abuse at staff and swung a knife at random victims near a Starbucks cafe at the city centre mall.
Police with tasers held a suspect in the street outside and armed officers quickly flooded the area. A man in his 40s is now being questioned by anti-terror officers on suspicion of serious assault.
Story continues below advertisementOne shopper described the ‘nightmare’ of seeing the knifeman plunging his blade into the back of one victim as he walked past Starbucks. Photos of the crime scene showed the tables were overturned and some where covered in blood.
A witness said: ‘I heard a woman scream. I span around and saw this guy who had a knife in his hand. It looked like he had stabbed her back. There was blood pouring from her and she just fell to the floor.
‘As soon as I saw the knife I just ran as fast as I could and was warning others what happened. Everyone was looking down from the first floor and there was real panic, people screaming.
‘The police were there in minutes and then we were evacuated. It was like a nightmare. Like something out of a horror film. It was awful. I can’t get that image out of my head.’
Three women, one aged 19, another in her 40s and another whose age is unknown, and a man in his 50s, are among the injured. One of those injured was said to have serious injuries. Two are in a stable condition in hospital. Another was treated at the scene.
Police are investigating whether this was a ‘lone wolf’ terror attack, the Manchester Evening News reported. The nature of the incident has led to counter-terror detectives taking charge and the investigation is said to centre on what the man said during the attack.
A mass stabbing at a busy shopping centre in the British city of Manchester on Friday left five people injured, prompting the counter-terrorism officers to take a lead of the investigation into the attack.
According to the Manchester Evening News, two women were knifed in the hand and a man suffered stab wounds to the back and stomach.
An MEN reporter said he was told that two people were “randomly stabbing” shoppers.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said that given the location and nature of the incident, specialist officers are continuing to investigate after a man was arrested on suspicion of serious assault.
The shopping centre is in the vicinity of the Manchester Arena, which was the site of a terror attack by an Islamic State (ISIS) claimed suicide bomber in 2017, who killed 22 people during an Ariana Grande concert.
“We can confirm that five people have been stabbed and taken to hospital. Given the location of the incident and its nature officers from Counter Terrorism Police North West are leading the investigation as we determine the circumstances,” the GMP statement said.(Outlook India)

British anti-terrorism police have taken charge of an investigation into the stabbing of five people at a shopping centre on Friday in the English city of Manchester, authorities said.
A “man in his 40s” was detained at the Arndale shopping centre on suspicion of committing the assault, Greater Manchester Police said in a statement.
The victims were hospitalized, the statement said. Police have not made a conclusion on the motive for the attack.
“In these early stages we are keeping an open mind about the motivation of the terrible incident and the circumstances as we know them,” the police said.

The Manchester Evening News reported that one of the victims was seriously injured. A video showed a masked man being detained while lying on the ground as an officer held an electric shocker.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson said he was “shocked by the incident” and thanked authorities for their professionalism.
“My thoughts are with the injured and all those affected,” Johnson said in a statement.

Well he’s black and he’s a moozslim so he can’t POSSibly have actually comMITed a serious assault, even if the benevolent peaceful act of enrichment he was performing might have confused some witnesses and given the appearance of an assault.
Now in this case it does SEEM to have been an assault which is of course impossible for a muslim to have done so this is ‘suspicious’ …..we ‘suspect’ the witnesses might be islamophobic! ULLLARRRGGHH HU WUCK BUURRRRR

Look at the Trump rally; police stood by while the AFA attacked people — it’s already happening. Recently, AFA was revealed to have been trained by the Kurd “allies” so there is an Islamic link there too.

When “draconian” taxes on marijuana get as high as tobacco cigarettes, it will only be fairness. In many areas, take the actual price of a pack (20) cigarettes, subtract the taxes, and you wind up with around a buck a pack for a generic brand. That means that there is anywhere from a 300% tax to a 800% tax. When marijuana is taxed at those levels .. come back and complain.

There’s probably more supply of marijuana in CA and CO than tobacco. Marijuana is becoming a cash crop. I’ve been thinking of investing in that industry because the profits are blasting off and it’s an ever-expanding industry throughout Californication.

I have read that the legal is far more expensive than what can be acquired on the street. Therefore, the unlicensed “street” stuff is still the leading source of consumption. Think about “Thunder Road”, revenuers, and herb. That’d make quite a movie.

Here’s the responsibility of the FFL licensee. While reviewing your submitted Form 4473, if there is a disqualifier (such as marijuana use, excessive alcohol use, etc.) they are to simply inform the applicant that they are ineligible. If the applicant has marked “no” to all of the questions, outside of 11(a)
“Are you the actual transferee/buyer of the firearm(s) listed on this form? Warning: You are not the actual transferee/buyer if you are acquiring the firearm(s) on behalf of another person. If you are not the actual transferee/buyer, the licensee cannot transfer the firearm(s) to you. Exception: If you are picking up a repaired firearm(s) for another person, you are not required to answer 11.a. and may proceed to question 11.b.” where a yes if required … it’s the applicant committing fraud, NOT the licensed transfer agent.
Unfortunately, there are over a quarter million applicants, caught in the act, every year … and only around twenty are ever even investigated, much less the six (average year) that are actually charged.
So, how would the pawn shop owner be liable? Unless, it could be proven that he had seen them USE marijuana, not simply seeing them come out of some drug shop.

That quarter million number is those that lied on the form, and the NICS caught them. That (lying on the form) is considered felony perjury, punishable by up to five years. If the left was truly concerned about “gun control”, they’d want all of those people investigated, charged, tried, and convicted …. However, only around twenty, each year, are even investigated. During the obimbo administration, creepy ‘ol uncle joe was queried on that and his answer (paraphrased) was … there’s so dayummed many, we simply cannot go after them. I believe the term for perpetrating said felony is “Lie and Fly”.

If or when a cowardly Jihad attack occurs, whether it be in Manchester, London, Paris, or city in the West, the non-Muslim communities must deem them as the norm. These terror attacks, in the skewed view of the authorities, differ not from crimes executed by the non-Muslims criminals. We, the law-abiding citizenry, must not, however, malign those murdering non-Muslims in the name of Allah. If so, one shall face prosecution for spewing alleged Islamophobic blasphemies.
It merely hands the Muslims a card blanc to expropriate non-Muslims one’s Democratic/Constitutional Rights of freedom of speech and much more. Indeed, counter-terrorism is investigating this particular attack. Nevertheless, there is no doubt that the Jihadi will obtain substantial legal counsel that, in turn, may lead to a slap-on-the-wrist. It would not surprise one that the judiciary may deem the knife-wielding Jihadi mentally-infirm, suffering from PTSD, or culture-shock. Remember, do not criticize this Jihadi, Big Brother is watching.

When … oh when … will the UK enforce its knife control legislation. It’s not legal to carry any knife with a blade length of over 2 1/2 inches … and it must NOT have a locking blade. Oh … when, oh when, will this insanity end? Perhaps, legislation needs passage to mandate blade length to no more than 1/2 inch. That should do the trick.
The “old” regulations limited blade length to three inches. It has since been reduced to 2 1/2 inches.

And because of Sheeett like THIS is why I have stopped going to malls, concerts, fairs, movie theaters, & the like. It’s been YEARS since I’ve went to any of those places. I know I shouldn’t live in fear like this, but I can’t help it. I’ve had awful things happen to me in the past & Sheeett like THIS confirms my fears.
