‘Stop the crimes against people of faith:’ Trump calls for end to religious persecution at UN

The president’s remarks were delivered at a United Nations event on religious freedom held in New York on Monday. He noted that most of the world’s population live in countries where religious freedom is threatened or restricted.

“Approximately 80% of the world’s population live in countries where religious liberty is threatened, restricted, or even banned,” said Trump.

The president then demanded restrictions on religious liberty be lifted.

“Today, with one clear voice, the United States of America calls upon the nations of the world to end religious persecution,” said Trump. “Stop the crimes against people of faith. Release prisoners of conscience. Repeal laws restricting freedom of religion and belief. Protect the vulnerable, the defenseless, and the oppressed.”

Trump later added that protecting religious freedom is one of his “highest priorities,” and promised America “will always be a voice for victims of religious persecution everywhere.”

The Trump administration has prioritized securing religious freedom around the world. The State Department hosted the first-ever Ministerial to Advance Religious Freedom last July, bringing together foreign dignitaries, survivors of religious persecution, and other stakeholders in the fight for religious freedom. The administration’s Genocide Recovery and Persecution Response Program has provided hundreds of millions of dollars to support religious minorities in northern Iraq who suffered genocide at the hands of Islamic State.

The Waco massacre was the extermination of a Christian religion that the Clintons orchestrated as a “mass suicide”; funny how a Christian religion based on love and forgiveness can be labeled a cult but Islam that is based on hate and vengeance is a “religion”. If the UN is serious about the freedom of religion then the UN must help investigate and expose the Waco massacre.

For perspective, religious persecution has killed many more people than has any climate or weather-related phenomenon, many times over.

As usual when calls for “religious liberty” are championed unfortunately that doesn’t EXCLUDE the “religious liberty” of a particular “religion” whose “religious freedom” is to persecute those who don’t belong to their religion. Until Western LEADERS of the world define “religion” we will always have this hideous “religion” that sees its “religious freedom” to dominate the world by warfare, colonization and intimidation with threats of violence. Islam is the minority in the West for the most part (and for now), and will always play the persecuted VICTIM if its “religious” practices, Mosque building, prayer in the streets or other hideous cultural practices are curtailed in any way. Islam should be seen as a subversive anti-West political ideology. Trump fell short and didn’t call out Islam specifically for its persecution and genocide of Christians. That’s like talking about the Jewish Holocaust w/o reference to Hitler or Nazis. Islamic genocides of non-Muslims over the past 14 centuries far surpasses Hitler and other 20th century genocidal killers but for some incomprehensible PC reason, we are supposed to tolerate Islam, which has always been at war with the West, as a “religion” like all the other major religions of the world as they exist today. Islam is the only “religion” that exists today that is a threat to all other religions.

President Trump has thrown down the gauntlet at the UN and has challenged the socialists, the climate fraudsters, the persecutors of Christians and Jews, and the Globalists. All of the forces of evil have been challenged and are fighting back. Win or lose Trump has made an indelible mark on this history of Western Civilization and the American Republic. Whether he will be remembered is not a question that can be debated. Trump will live on in the memories of man for several thousand years as the greatest of American presidents, of that I am certain.
