House Judiciary Committee passes impeachment rules to expand scope of inquiry

The House Judiciary Committee has approved an apparent impeachment inquiry into President Trump. On Thursday, the panel passed a resolution in a 24-to-17 vote.
The resolution gave the committee power to deem meetings as impeachment hearings,which provides them the ability to question witnesses after members conclude hearings among other procedural functions.
Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler tried to clarify the confusion surrounding the intentions of the meeting and claimed terminology regarding impeachment inquiry is insignificant.

Ranking member Doug Collins blasted Nadler, saying he intended to use the pointless meeting to appeal to Democrat colleagues and to fool the general public into believing there is progress with an impeachment inquiry.
Collins also had this to say:
“I’ve wanted for a long time to be able to say this: welcome to fantasy island because we’re here…it may all look good. The unfortunate part is when the screen goes down, you just see a simple procedure issue…that doesn’t deal with impeachment, that doesn’t do anything else. It just simply gives another press release for whatever were doin

Pelosi must be having kittens!
She knows Trump swing districts will reject DEMS running for re-election. The public at large is against these endless investigations into Trump after the Russian farce ended so badly. People want their representatives to work for them – not waste time with this garbage that will go nowhere!

The democrats need a dire cleansing. It should be voter inspired but the way that they are using leftist lawyers and judges to veer the law to suit themselves and allowing Antifa to run amok(amongst others) means that more drastic action my be necessary in the future. Removing the democrats is not enough. The leftist cancer in the law, in academia , in the bureaucracy and in all NGOs must be removed permanently.

PLEASE LET THE IMPEACHMENT BEGIN! Start with the OATH OF OFFICE – – LIARS. These LIARS SWORE an OATH with the INTENT of not upholding their oath. Begin the impeachments with all of the CONs who occupy seats in the current CON-gress. Then PROSECUTE these LIARS and confiscate any and all “benefits” they would have gotten. What they DESERVE is time in a FEDERAL PRISON – – not the luxury rooms, but placed into the “BIG HOUSE”.

This is the result of an utter lack of accountability for all those involved in the coup attempt. If the DOJ would see that justice is done this coup would not continue. None of these people elected to represent us are doing the job they are being paid to do. Instead they continue to use their power to enrich themselves and destroy our nation.It’s a national disgrace and must be dealt with.

I hear ya – yeah i agree pretty much untouchable. We witness these blatant criminals getting away with ridiculous crimes and no accountability..Yes i am convinced that dragging everything out for what seems forever they are betting on you and me forgetting about it – or statute runs out – Perfect example of it ‘ tricky hilly ‘ and her infamous comment ‘ what does it matter now ‘ Says volumes right there – You follow Judicial Watch and see how hard they have to work with FOIA lawsuits to get any truly relevant information out these P’s OS..They’re white collar criminals they operate by keeping things hidden.Me too in wanting things to change – All we can do is support true conservative Constitutionalists – Fed Gov has gotten too big its a runaway train..

To an outside observer looking in, there seems to be far too much involvement in American politics by the courts for the good of the country.
