The request was naturally denied by Israel’s Attorney General. Israel’s deep state is salivating over the possibly of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu going down. Such a scenario would be a tragedy for Israel, the Jewish people, and the Middle East.
In early October PM Netanyahu will have his pre-trial hearing. At this hearing Israel’s inept AG will decide if he will file corruption charges against the Israeli PM.
The leaders of the Blue and White Party are very likely hoping that the Likud Party will abandon PM Netanyahu if he is indeed indicted. The Likud Party must stay loyal to PM Netanyahu in the event of an indictment. PM Netanyahu must be allowed to prove his innocence.
Netanyahu wants pre-trial hearing aired live so public can hear “my side”
By Reuters, September 26, 2019:
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called on Thursday for his pre-trial hearing next week on corruption allegations to be broadcast live, saying that “the time has come for the public to hear everything, including my side”.
Following a deadlocked Sept. 17 election, Netanyahu is fighting for a fifth term in office that might confer legal immunity in three long-running cases that he has cast as a baseless and politically motivated witch-hunt.
Israel’s attorney-general, Avichai Mandelblit, has said he intends to file fraud and breach of trust charges against Netanyahu pending a hearing – an opportunity for a VIP suspect to argue that a trial is not in the national interest.

The betrayal of Benjamin Netanyahu
In Israel, the political discourse has become a vulgar and personal crusade to destroy the political legacy of one of Israel’s greatest leaders, The Ethiopian community is an example of how this could be done.
By Arutz Sheva, September 27, 2019:
Israel’s election results have yet to determine who will emerge as Prime Minister, yet when hearing the political pundits, the leading columnists, and the left and center left political parties, the only message that is conveyed is that the Netanyahu era is over and that Israel must choose a new political leadership. One widely read national columnist even smugly predicated that the Netanyahu era has ended and that his “magic” has dissipated.
Despite the deadlocked election results, in which the Likud Party and Prime Minister Netanyahu have yet to create a clear path to claiming victory, critics have no hesitancy in denying the unprecedented success of Netanyahu’s policies that have resulted in a booming economy as never before : near-record-low unemployment, a record number of Israelis working including unprecedented Israeli Arab and haredi employment participation, increases in workers’ wages and family incomes, low interest rates, low inflation, steady GDP growth and a strong stock market.
In poll after poll, Israelis have expressed a very high life satisfaction rating and rate their standard of living highly. Israel’s strategic military standing has never been stronger and the emerging Israeli-Sunni alliance is changing the face of the Middle East and creating a true possibility of peace between Israeli and the Muslim Sunni nations.
