Adviser to Rouhani says Trump’s dismissal of National Security Adviser shows US failure when it comes to Iran.

Iran on Tuesday welcomed US President Donald Trump’s dismissal of his National Security Adviser John Bolton, with a senior official claiming the dismissal showed the failure of Washington’s policy on Iran.
“The marginalization and subsequent elimination of Bolton is not an accident but a decisive sign of the failure of the US maximum pressure strategy in the face of the constructive resistance of Iran,” said Hesameddin Ashena, an adviser to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, according to Reuters.
“John Bolton had promised months ago that Iran would last for another three months. We are still standing and he is gone,” Iranian government spokesman Ali Rabiei added in a post on Twitter.
“With the expulsion of the biggest proponent of war and economic terrorism, the White House will face fewer obstacles in understanding Iran’s realities,” Rabiei said.
Trump announced on Twitter earlier on Tuesday that Bolton had been fired due to disagreements with many of Bolton’s suggestions.
“I informed John Bolton last night that his services are no longer needed at the White House. I disagreed strongly with many of his suggestions, as did others in the Administration, and therefore I asked John for his resignation, which was given to me this morning,” Trump wrote.

Sorry to see Bolton go. WE NEED HAWKS IN GOVT and Bolton was a no-nonsense HAWK when it came to nations who hate us no matter what we say or do, while wearing a smile on their faces.
Personally, I would NUKE IRAN and be done with it, but G-D himself will do that soon enough.

I absolutely agree. I am so sick of all these people who constantly label those strong, apologetically pro America individuals as “neoconservative warmongers”. Rand Paul, for example thinks all you have to do is sit down and talk with the Muslims who hate Infidels. I’m all for talk and diplomacy, but there are times when it’s just not appropriate or effective.

I’ve seen conservative reactions on the Bolton firing from several different conservative websites and the vast majority of the people commenting are glad that Trump got rid of Bolton because they consider him to be a neoconservative war hawk. Real conservatives don’t want a war with Iran. Real conservatives don’t want to go to war for Israel. Real conservatives don’t want America to kowtow to a foreign nuclear rogue apartheid state or its lobby. Real conservatives put America first! This site isn’t conservative, it’s Zionist. Huge difference! Don’t get them confused!

Yes, and proof of that is that they can’t even get along with themselves! Since Muslims don’t even get along with other Muslims, clearly, there is no hope that they will ever get along with non-Muslims! I think Bolton understood that. Ron, Rand and Alex are clueless and delusional.

I think created4el has a better idea! I will be following up with created4el when I see him post again to find out which forum that is. If I can find a forum before I catch up with him, I will post that to you. I am reluctant to post an email that will be stored with Disqus even though I have the intention of trashing it after contact is made.

One of the other forum interfaces allowed private messages. But Disqus doesn’t seem to have it. Perhaps if one of you set up an email address that you only intend to use to connect and then if trolls troll that email then who cares as long as you exchange your info before it gets flooded. I’d also make sure to delete all emails in it in case the troll is good at hacking accounts.

So there are people who attack Bolton as a neoconservative warmonger. I just don’t believe that. He is unapologetic in flexing American muscle. While at the U.N., his flaw, in the eyes of many of his critics, was that he was just too pro America. There is a lot of daylight between being a warmonger and aggressively projecting strength. To the Ron / Rand and Alex crowd you’re a warmonger or you do nothing. Sure, Bolton is not perfect and in retrospect Iraq was a mistake, but he was far from the only one who made that mistake. What would Rand Paul’s response to 9/11 have been, not with 20/20 hind site, but at the time? Just talking to the Muslims who slaughtered thousands of Americans? And in the disagreement Bolton and Trump had in terms of Trump wanting to bring the Taliban to Camp David around 9/11, I side with Bolton. I’m all for getting out of Afghanistan but to those who understand Islam, the Taliban being brought to Camp David, especially around 9/11, would be seen as a remarkable victory for Islam!

Trump made a big mistake firing Bolton. A strong anti-Muslim is needed in the White House.
