The Supreme Court freed the Trump administration Wednesday to implement its policy denying asylum to migrants at the southern border who have not sought protection from another country en route.

Supreme Court backs Trump on asylum crackdown

The U.S. Supreme Court granted a request by President Donald Trump’s administration to fully enforce a new rule that would curtail asylum applications by immigrants at the U.S.-Mexico border, a key element of his hardline immigration policies.
The court said the rule, which requires most immigrants who want asylum to first seek safe haven in a third country through which they had traveled on their way to the United States, could go into effect as litigation challenging its legality continues.
Liberal Justices Sonia Sotomayor and Ruth Bader Ginsburg dissented.
The rule, unveiled on July 15, requires most immigrants who want U.S. asylum to first seek asylum in a third country they had traveled through on their way to the United States.
The San Francisco-based 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Aug. 16 limited a federal judge’s injunction blocking the rule to the nine Western states over which it has jurisdiction including the border states of California and Arizona. That had left open the possibility that the rule could be applied in the two other border states, Texas and New Mexico.
The American Civil Liberties Union and others who challenged the administration’s policy in federal court said it violates U.S. immigration law and accused the administration of failing to follow the correct legal process in issuing the rule.

He and his team really had to think of a strategy to bypass the stupid Congressional law.
In fact, any refugee claiming asylum should first seek it in Guatamala, then Mexico, and then Canada.

It’s temporary till it makes it’s way through the LOWER courts so Trump has to move quickly and get those “immigration tents up” and judges deciding before we lose again in the LOWER courts. Expedite DEPORTATIONS of fake “asylum seekers” and migrants. GET THEM OUT! They are destroying our country.

But when it came to adding a citizenship question on the census Roberts swung against Trump
(Justice (Prick) Roberts was the SWING VOTE on this issue and he was the one that said “judges aren’t political” LOL) Justices ruled, “the VRA ( 1965 Voting Rights Act) enforcement rationale—the sole stated reason—seems to have been contrived.” Huh? The VRA is in place to have a CLEAN VOTING – no illegals etc. voting!)
* Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross insisted citizenship data was needed to enforce the 1965 Voting Rights Act
* Multiple cities, states and civil rights groups sued, saying that the question would decrease the response rate of new immigrants out of fear
* The count is used to apportion seats for the US House of Reps and statehouses, and could have led to a cutting of political representatives in immigrant areas
* Trump said it’s a ‘sad time for America when the Supreme Court of the United States won’t allow a question of ‘Is this person a Citizen of the United States?”
* Census hasn’t had a citizenship question since 1950; Trump administration wanted it put back in but has now abandoned the idea ( I am not sure that is accurate – 1950 but it proves it is Constitutional!)
* Democrats say asking who’s a citizen purposely discourages ILLEGAL immigrants from participating, and that dilutes minorities’ voting power
* President Trump had said it’s ‘ridiculous’ to conduct a census without counting citizens, and had wanted to stall for time
* In the end Trump decided that he would seek citizenship information through other federal data collections.
There is something not right about Prick Roberts…. He has a skeleton in his closet…. This is an insane ruling and politically motivated by Prick Roberts. They want to keep us in the dark about how many ILLEGALS we have here and keep us PAYING for them and REPRESENTING THEM..

Well, I don’t want to sound like a lefty and just sling uncorroborated mud, but I just didn’t fall off of the turnip truck yesterday. I have no idea what he is thinking nor why. BUT, there is something very very wrong with that guy. At the very least, he is DEEP STATE up to his eyeballs and a RINO for sure. He has the fetid, rotting stench of duplicity about him, from miles away.

Of course, another way to handle those who dont first seek asylum from another country, that end up in the U..S., would be to just have them sent to any U.S., or Canadian glue factory. ‘Do not pass Go, do not collect $200.’
