The ADL is a joke. Jewish Americans are being terrorized across the United States by the pro-Palestinian Left, but it’s the “OK” hand gesture that the ADL chooses to condemn. Unbelievable insanity.
What about the BDS Movement, Jonathan Greenblatt? What about Islamic anti-Semitism? What about anti-Israel hatred from the Left? Shame on you Jonathan Greenblatt. Idiot!
‘OK’ is now a hate symbol, the ADL says
By CNN, Sara Sidner, September 26, 2019:
he “OK” hand gesture is now a hate symbol, according to a new report by the Anti-Defamation League.
The ADL added that symbol along with several others on Thursday to its long-standing database of slogans and symbols used by extremists. The finger-and-thumb OK sign is universally known for meaning everything is all right or approval of something. But the ADL says while not everyone means it to be hateful, the sign has been co-opted by the alt-right.The OK hand gesture and its link to white nationalism began as a hoax cooked up by users of the website 4chan, who falsely linked it to white supremacy, according to the ADL.
BREAKING: with news that the “OK” sign is officially a “hate symbol” one wonders who’s setting priorities at @ADL just as violent antisemitism skyrockets!

‘OK’ hand gesture, ‘bowlcut’ added to hate symbols databaseSome of the new entries started as trolling campaigns or hateful memes on internet message boards such as 4chan and 8chan, before migrating to Facebook, Twitter and other platforms,By NBC News, September 26, 2019:COLLEGE PARK, Md. — The “OK” hand gesture, a mass killer’s bowl-style haircut and an anthropomorphic moon wearing sunglasses are among 36 new entries in a Jewish civil rights group’s online database of hate symbols used by white supremacists and other far-right extremists.
The Anti-Defamation League has added the symbols to its online “Hate on Display” database , which already includes burning crosses, Ku Klux Klan robes, the swastika and many other of the most notorious and overt symbols of racism and anti-Semitism.
The New York City-based group launched the database in 2000 to help law enforcement officers, school officials and others recognize signs of extremist activity. It has grown to include nearly 200 entries.
“Even as extremists continue to use symbols that may be years or decades old, they regularly create new symbols, memes and slogans to express their hateful sentiments,” Anti-Defamation League CEO Jonathan Greenblatt said in a statement.
