Bullshit! Tapper did not fire back at all. Tapper cowered to Tlaib. Jake Tapper did not have the courage to confront Tlaib about Palestinian terrorism in their recent interview. Now we can see why. When discussing the El Paso mass shooting on CNN earlier this week, Tapper referenced the ongoing Palestinian terrorism against Israel. Subsequently Tapper got hit hard on Twitter by Tlaib and others on the Left.
Tapper was called irresponsible and was accused of bigotry. Tapper was also accused of Islamophobia: the most dangerous accusation for any liberal in the main stream media to receive. Naturally the gutless Tapper immediately went on damage control. Instead of doubling down on his statement, Tapper posted a tweet defending himself (while almost apologizing) to Tlaib for daring to reference Palestinian terrorism when discussing the El Paso mass shooting.
After the El Paso massacre Tlaib referred to Israel as white nationalist. Why didn’t Tapper confront Tlaib on this slanderous statement, instead of trying to pacify Tlaib for referencing Palestinian terrorism on his panel? When trying to defame Trump, Tapper is ferocious and shameless, but not with Tlaib over her lies, anti-Semitism, and support of jihad. What a pathetic human being Jake Tapper is. This is why no one is watching CNN. #coward.
CNN’s Jake Tapper fires back at ‘Squad’ member Rashida Tlaib: ‘I never said that’
By Brian Flood, Fox News, August 6, 2019:
CNN’s Jake Tapper fired back Monday at “Squad” member Rep. Rashida Tlaib after she ripped him over comments he made Sunday on “State of the Union.”
Tapper was discussing the tone of leaders amid the tragic mass shooting in El Paso, Texas when he said something that apparently bothered Tlaib.
“You hear conservatives all the time, rightly so in my opinion, talk about the tone set by people in the Arab world. Palestinian leaders and the way they talk about Israelis… justifying,” Tapper said. “You can’t compare the ideology of Hamas with anything else. But at the same time, either tone matters or it doesn’t.”
Tlaib noticed a tweet from someone who objected to Tapper’s message and took things a step further.
Comparing Palestinian human rights advocates to terrorist white nationalists is fundamentally a lie. Palestinians want equality, human dignity & to stop the imprisonment of children ⬇️.

“Comparing Palestinian human rights advocates to terrorist white nationalists is fundamentally a lie. Palestinians want equality, human dignity & to stop the imprisonment of children,” Tlaib wrote. “White supremacy is calling for the *domination* of one race w/ the use of violence.”
Tapper fired back on Monday with a tweet directed at the freshman congresswoman.
You're 100% right, Congresswoman @RashidaTlaib, it's a lie. Because I never said that. What I said was those who believe Palestinian leaders bear responsibility for the incitement of terrorism cannot then let US leaders off the hook and act as if words don't matter. https://t.co/UoC0l5778t

This is who Rashida Tlaib refers to as freedom fighters. Why won’t Jake Tapper confront Tlaib on her dishonest, anti-Semitic, and pro-jihad rhetoric?
