In her own bent way, she’s not wrong. It is a national security measure on both counts not a “Muslim” ban. Actually, saying that President Trump’s national security travel restriction is a Muslim thing is Islamophobic.
Ilhan Omar: “Trump’s Muslim ban is what Israel is implementing”

Trump doesn’t actually have a Muslim ban. He imposed temporary bans on several Muslim countries, along with North Korea, that could not or would not provide adequate data about people trying to enter the United States. Leftists and Islamic spokesmen have hyped this as a “Muslim ban” despite the fact that there are no restrictions at all upon the vast majority of Muslims who may wish to come to the U.S. There are no restrictions on Muslims coming here from Saudi Arabia, or Pakistan, or Indonesia (the world’s most populous Muslim country), or most other Muslim countries.
Story continues below advertisementOmar was actually banned from Israel because she is a determined enemy of the Jewish state, and counts as friends and allies many people who wish to destroy that state. She had no intention during her trip of trying to “learn from Israelis,” as she claims here, but only to demonize and vilify them. She was not banned because she is a Muslim, but because she hates Jews and Israel and would be aiding the propaganda of their enemies.

Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar lashed out Thursday at Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, after the Israeli government announced that Omar and fellow Democratic lawmaker Rashida Tlaib would not be permitted into the country on their planned trip next week.
Omar, who along with Tlaib was banned from entering Israel under the country’s 2017 anti-BDS law, which bars entry to supporters of the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement, excoriated not only Netanyahu but the State of Israel, accusing it of a ‘brutal occupation’ of Judea and Samaria, and claimed the Jewish state was implementing a “Muslim ban” drawn up by President Donald Trump….
“Trump’s Muslim ban is what Israel is implementing, this time against two duly elected Members of Congress. Denying entry into Israel not only limits our ability to learn from Israelis, but also to enter the Palestinian territories. Sadly, this is not a surprise given the public positions of Prime Minister Netanyahu, who has consistently resisted peace efforts, restricted the freedom of movement of Palestinians, limited public knowledge of the brutal realities of the occupation and aligned himself with Islamophobes like Donald Trump.”…

There are Muslims and people of other faiths living in Israel, so how can there be a Muslim ban? Why do Muslims act and talk like because they are of the Muslim religion that they are they greatest of all God’s creation? We came here the same way and we all leave the same way. Grace gives me “choice,” and eternal life through Christ. So then I have divine grace, love, truth, wisdom, and knowledge, in contrast to stabbings, beheadings, hangings, acid sprinklings, fgms, dismemberments, and wife beatings, and overall rule and total control by tyrants who say you must submit or die or be enslaved. Well, since grace gives me choice, Islam makes my choice a simple one. Global warming cannot be compared to the place those without faith in Christ are going.
