(VIDEO) Hong Kong protesters sing US anthem, with US flags, against Chinese tyranny during airport occupation

Trump’s proud love of freedom and individualism is infectious. It’s why the enemies of freedom, the Democrats, loathe him so.

When freedom seekers go up against tyranny, it matters who is in the White House. They know that too.

Photo: Hundreds of thousands of demonstrators take to the street of Hong Kong on June 9, 2019, to protest against the extradition bill being put forward by the Hong Kong government, which the people of Hong Kong fear could be used as a political tool by the Beijing central government to arrest and transfer political activists who are against the Chinese government to the mainland.

(VIDEO) Hong Kong protesters sing US anthem, with US flags, against Chinese tyranny during airport occupation

By American Military News, August 13, 2019:

Hong Kong’s citizens have begun waving American flags and singing the U.S. National Anthem amid ongoing protests against China’s control.

U.S. Rep. Dan Crenshaw posted a video of the singing citizens and said, “Hong Kong is a modern-day struggle between tyrannical rule and free democracy. Protesters stand bravely in the face of violence to combat China’s authoritarian regime. They remind us why we value our freedom in America, and should stand by their side as they fight for theirs.”

The protesters have been demonstrating in Hong Kong’s streets since June in response to a proposed extradition bill that would’ve allowed those charged with crimes to be extradited to China for prosecution.

Although the bill was suspended after initial demonstrations, the protests have continued for more than two months as frustrated citizens show their rejection of Chinese control.

Frustrations have swelled as the police response is suspected of having amped up tensions by firing tear gas and water cannons at protesters.

Riot police stormed an airport on Hong Kong on Tuesday where the protesters have assembled for the second day in a row.

China has deployed military vehicles just 18 miles from the Hong Kong border where they are assembling troops for a massive anti-riot exercise.

China Global TV Network, a news agency funded by the Chinese government, posted a video on YouTube showing citizens criticizing the Hong Kong protesters, denouncing their decision to fly American and British flags, and accusing them of “messing up society.”

Hong Kong is a thriving democracy like Israel and it does deserve the support of the West. Communism and Islam are the two biggest totalitarian, fascist monsters that humanity needs to defeat this century.

The West should support regime change in China as well as middle-eastern countries so eventually they turn into Secular-Democratic nations like our own. Hopefully the US and the UK (which was HK’s former colonial power) supports HK’s independence and statehood.

The democracy in Hong Kong is greatly diminished by the totalitarian PRC. Their parliament has seats that are basically picked by the PRC and Hong Kong’s business leaders are beholden to renminbis. I read book sellers have been disappeared from Hong Kong by the PRC. Good luck to them and I hope they can free themselves from the exploitative “Communism” that is the PRC.

That’s unfortunate and it could be another reason these protests are going on. They know China is spreading its tentacles all over their nation and plans to eventually take it over completely.

Unfortunately the US and other western nations helped turn PRC into the beast that it is today. Had we not invested in China and used its cheap labor it would’ve remain an insignificant power (despite its large population).

Will Hong Kong end up being invaded by the PLA in the same way Hungary and Czechoslovakia were invaded by the USSR when they sought to leave the totalitarian Warsaw Pact?

When Sherman burnt crops and houses on his “march to the sea”, many women were raped and hundreds of thousands of people were shot, that were simply trying to defend their freedom. I seriously doubt that the chicoms will be anywhere nearly as brutal and inhumane as the USA was.

On another ChiCom note, I’ve been hearing some disturbing rumors of Triad groups renting homes, knocking out all the interior walls, sealing exterior windows and front doors then making the homes into grow farms for marijuana. I’m not sure if the homes are subject to search and seizure if they’re found to be indoor marijuana grow farms. Have you heard anything about this?

Achmed Mohandjob
Achmed Mohandjob

No, I haven’t. High electricity usage .. that’s how they’ve always caught them here. Unless the PRC officials are getting their requisite kickbacks, that’s how they’ll catch them there. Although consuming or possessing marijuana isn’t that big of a deal … the maximum penalty for selling it, or any other drug, is the death penalty. If Tongs are growing, you can be relatively certain they’re paying officials the going rate cut. Just like it is over here.

AM, this is happening to rental home properties in the USA, in Southern California.

Achmed Mohandjob
Achmed Mohandjob

Lots of Mexicans were doing that in Des Moines, Iowa .. back in the late eighties. When the hog market plummeted, biker gangs took over large confinement facilities in order to manufacture amphetamines in the mid-eighties. That’s when you could still purchase 55 gallon drums of ephedrine, out of Canada. I met a man that would do the border runs, driving an old van, filled with 55 gallon drums … He wasn’t in the biker groups, but they paid him well. He was in his early seventies and never seemed to attract any attention.

That’s an equally ugly thought — criminal gangs making rental homes into meth labs, which I figure could result in the home being condemned as unlivable by the chemicals involved.

Achmed Mohandjob
Achmed Mohandjob

It’s not just that. If you knew, or should have known, that your property has been used as a part of a criminal enterprise (meth lab?) it’s confiscation time. Must be absentee landlords without a decent local manager … OR, they’re in on it.

MuhamMUDTheFakeProphet

Achmed Mohandjob
Achmed Mohandjob

That stuff’s been on the books for decades. I believe it started under Ronnie “The Commie” Reagan and his “War on Drugs”. It’s the “Should have known” that’s the kicker. Small time, ten-to-twenty house guys like me … That’d be hard to pull off. I don’t ever go to a property unless the tenant calls me with a problem. However, for outside work, I simply give them the requisite 24 hour notice … So, when I’m spreading weed ‘n feed or fertilizer, I normally see the inside …
But, for a non-resident landlord type, with a property manager … As long as they’re paid on time … They may never have seen the property after they purchased it … Or, in some cases, a local manager simply sent them pictures and they purchased it, long distance actual sight unseen.

WHOA hold on just a minute. You won’t rewrite history here. I’m writing from Georgia and am an historian of the Civil War. In SO many cases, Sherman’s army performed humanitarian acts on their way south, certainly did pillage and burn but “hundreds of thousands of people shot” is bogus. I’m an ardent southerner, and while I would love to say we were “simply trying to defend our freedom” the fact is, we were defending a system that was horrendous, that of the large, slave-owning plantation barron. The real shame is how just a few hundred of these wealthy plantation owners tricked my fellow southerners into fighting and dying for their dying way of life!!!

The confederates started the Civil war by firing on the union soldiers at fort Sumter. You seem determined to demonize America. However I will not take the bait. We do have a checkered history. Slavery is a stain on it. The blood sacrifice of hundreds of thousands of northern soldiers should have cleansed it. Civil and human rights laws were the silver lining in those clouds. They have become the standard around the world. It is why many people come here legally and illegally to benefit from them to escape oppression persecution and slavery by other systems of government. Hong Kong was forced to honor a treaty to enslave them under communist rule. This stands diametrically opposed to Universal human rights. Why isn’t the United nations speaking out against this and warning China to leave Hong Kong alone. They were just fine without China. They should also warn China about their abuses of their own citizens and threatening all the neighbors in their regions. Americans are pretty fed up with them already. I’m making a point to not buy products made in China as my protest of them and unfair trade theft of intellectual property xcetera…

The hostile troops were given the option to simply vacate the fort, prior to any military action. This is simply a comparison to the howling and screaming about the PRC simply keeping a part of its nation a part of its nation. Riots in the streets, closing down public transportation and airports could very readily be compared to be an act of war. The only difference between a rebellion and a revolution is which side wins the conflict.
I’m fed up with mainland China. I, to this day, find it abhorrent that we basically deserted and abrogated a treaty that we held with a very close ally, the Republic of China (Taiwan/Formosa). That was an exceedingly disgraceful act on the part of the U.S.
Moving business after business to the PRC due to the U.S. tax laws, giving special emphasis to the Clinton Administration. Prior to Clownton GIVING (special emphasis added) missile technology to the PRC … giving, not one bloody dime was paid … they (PRC) couldn’t even keep something in orbit. Talk about theft of intellectual property … except the theft came from our very own government.
Americans are hooked on Chinese goods. Does anyone remember when Walmart’s marketing strategy was to only sell American goods, if they could source products made in America? However, when someone could go to K-Mart and buy a pair of Texas Steer steel-toed boots for $14.00 … or go to Walmart and pay $49.00 (minimum) for Red Wings … they learned their lesson … The American consumer DEMANDED cheap Chinese goods. So, Walmart went with what Americans demanded.

Byron…Do some more research. Before Ft. Sumter was fired on, there was a truce to try and “cool” down the situation. Lincoln ordered Fort Sumter to be resupplied and reinforced during the truce. In articles of war, this is a violation of a truce, i.e. an act of war. When this happened the confederates fired on Fort Sumter. So, the question is, who started the conflict? Additionally, as abhorrent as slavery is, are you aware of the history of white slavery in the U.S.? If not, may I recommend the book, “White Cargo”. Might give a different view of the situation and history of slavery. Also, another question to ask; Who owned the ships that brought the African slaves to the Americas? Are you aware of the numerous free black men in the south who were slave owners? The answers are not as “black and white” as the revisionists would have you think. I found none of the answers to the above questions in my government approved history books.

The vast majority of white slaves were Scots, followed by Irish, and coming in at last place, Germans. The revisionists will try to play the “indentured servant” game. However, these people were life-long slaves … NOT indentured servants, that were sold on auction blocks, right at their point of entry.

The Hong Kong protesters, unlike the Leftists, are fighting for the Democratic Rights so many Westerners take for granted, but copious Leftist-Marxists, loathe. Absolutely so, they understand! I was surprised to learn how very much the mainland Chinese are disliked by those in Hong Kong. And I believe the same is true for those in the mainland. My son and his family live in the mainland, and I have frequent guests from Hong Kong here in the States. Aside from the political differences, some of the personal dislike is due to the manner in which the mainlanders come to Hong Kong and buy out large supplies of food from the stores. Very interesting to hear them talk about it. And they view the mainlanders as extremely lazy, which is true according to my son.

I wish that what is taking place in Hong Kong was much more in the news, it would greatly aid the cause in Hong Kong. Xping will not easily back off, it is a matter of…’save face.’ It is my personal opinion the Xping has the makings of another Mao. Tragic to contemplate.

Whoa, you don’t think that would start a war?

China has already violated it’s Treaty with the UK which had sovereignty over Hong Kong prior. said treaty returns sovereignty to UK or to an independent Hong Kong who can decide to pledge allegiance to anyone or no one.

a peaceful takeover is not starting a war. however China starting a war against Hong Kong will expose China until the commie regime is overthrown from within.

The US has a bad track record in supporting Asians fighting for democracy. In 1945, Ho Chi Minh, leader of the Vietnamese movement seeking emancipation from the French colonial stranglehold of his country, sent a letter to President Truman, He wanted support from the US to end French rule over Vietnam. The Vietnamese people very much wanted to model their new country after America and the US Constitution. What did we do? We screwed the Vietnamese and instead sided with the vile French. After that betrayal, Ho Chi Minh gave a big FU to the US by courting the Chinese and the nightmare known as The Vietnam War began.
Reagan helped to end the Soviet Union. Trump now has an opportunity to help bring down the Chinese Communists. That’s a much much bigger deal than a trade agreement that the Communists will never honor anyway. There is no rule of law in Communist Party-ruled China. They control guns, police, military and banks. The only way to bring them down is with a massive revolt by the Chinese people themselves. It can happen and it must happen.

Michael Yon, who is there in the middle of all this live streaming it, has some trenchant comments about this American flag waving. Is this HKers appealing to the US for help or is it a false flag operation trying to convince the HK and Chinese people that the US is trying to force it’s way on the situation?

The Chinese Mandarin speaking dictatorship will not allow the majority Cantonese speaking Hong Kong residents freedom. If you read about rebellions in China, many began in the South where the Cantonese reside. The Cantonese are looked down by the so-called superior Mandarin speaking Chinese. Bring them all to States as they are hard working and will do well here.
How many of our new guests in Minnesotastan know the anthem? I would like to hear the Jihadi squad sing the anthem.

It does not matter to a COMMUNIST Chinese. Communism replaced the “Emperor” system and its obsession with eunuchs.

It’s still a BRUTAL system with the Chinese communist. Chinese will be Chinese. Don’t know what else to tell ya.
They hate anything American. Based on their history will they attack? Yes. They also don’t line troops up unless they will use them, of course.

IMO singing the American national anthem just riles Xi and his communist fiends. I don’t think he can let this go. But we’ll see.

I can only imagine how much singing the US national anthem in Hong Kong would pi$$ off the Communist Chinese tiger. I admire their courage in doing so.

I just hope it doesn’t turn out as Tiananmen Square did. There would be so much bloodshed..

Looking at the American flags being waved, I had to laugh. What a slap in the face to the Brits, who surrendered Hong Kong to the Chinese and bowed as they did it…

If that demonstration with the flags and anthem are real, wonder what the Dems have to say since so many of them are beholden to the Chinese government..?

Dear Hong Kong citizens: You put half of America to shame (the half that votes Democrat). Even foreigners understand that America is and always has been a beacon of liberty, that’s why they all want to come here. So let’s start being more selective. Kick out those with Mexican and ISIS flags, and bring in the brave souls who embody the ideals we were founded upon!

Perfect display of the critical importance of the right of the people in America to keep and bear arms. One day, God forbid, we too may have to fight against the tyranny of a commie controlled Government. Let’s hope an armed citizenry is a deterrent to the commies among us.

As PRC (Chinese communist) finds the protest very offended (and are extremely angry)…..this same PRC don’t give a f%*k about infamous PRC “terrorist” riot in Hong Kong dated back to 1967 (during British rule)

I consider it a miracle to get one American to make a 2 minute phone call to their representative to ask that they support or fight against a bill before Congress depending on its merits. Ex: ObamaCare. When I told people what was really in the bill I was ALWAYS accused of “being political.” I brought this up primarily with fellow conservatives and Christians. They spew out that term “political” almost as automatically as left wing Democrats say “racist.” I call it a citizen’s duty to speak out on public policy.

God help those Hong Kong dissidents. It was a very sad day when Britain allowed Hong Kong to come back under Chinese dominion. To my knowledge President Trump has not spoken out on this issue.

THE SAD TRUTH IS THE UN & OUR AMERICAN OBSESSION WITH DESTROYING COLONIALISM DOOMED HONG KONG. THE PEOPLE OF HONG KONG SHOULD HAVE BEEN GIVEN A VOTE TO DETERMINE THEIR FUTURE TO STAY UNDER THE UK, COME UNDER TAIWAN OR GO TO PEOPLES REPUBLIC OF CHINA. THAT VOTE WOULD HAVE SHOWN HOW LITTLE SUPPORT FOR PRC COMMUNISM THERE WAS IN HONG KONG THEN OR NOW!
THE FOLKS OF HONG KONG WEREN’T GIVEN THAT CHANCE IN THE 90’S WHEN THIS SITUATION COULD HAVE BEEN PREVENTED. WE AMERICANS & ESPECIALLY THE BRITISH WHO IF THE USA HAD SUPPORTED THEIR KEEPING HONG KONG MIGHT HAVE HAD THE COURAGE TO FOLLOW THROUGH ON A POPULAR VOTE FOR HONG KONG’S FUTURE ARE LARGELY TO BLAME IN THE PAST BUT NOW WE HAVE TO DEAL WITH THE REALITY OF THE PRESENT WHICH IS IT IS JUST TOO LATE FOR THEM TO LIVE IN LIBERTY. REMEMBER, WE ARE DEALING WITH THE POLITICAL DESCENDENTS OF MAO TSE TUNG WHO WAS RIGHT WHEN HE SAID “POWER GROWS OUT OF THE BARREL OF A GUN!”
WE AMERICANS SHOULD OPEN OUR DOORS OF IMMIGRATION TO FOLKS FROM HONG KONG AS POLITICAL REFUGEES WHILE BUILDING THE WALL ALONG THE MEXICAN BORDER WHOSE MEXICAN CITIZENS WE OWE NOTHING TO! AGAIN, HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF IN THE FUTURE!

How to protect a country without a war.

I can only think of one great mind that could have stopped China been Nichola Tesla. Every day we use a few of his invention every day and he never gets mentioned. If he had invented the Death Ray it may have given China second thoughts about pushing into other countries.

Reagan’s shining city on a hill remains a beacon of hope to millions the world over with democracy and enshrined constitutional rights. it is not necessary to come to America to have those rights. The model can be applied anywhere in the world where tyranny
is resisted.

it is not necessary to come to America

Ironic, Gov. Cuomo (not fredo), remarked that America was never that great. Evidence to the contrary Gov, it just took people threatened by tyranny to show Gov. Cuomo up.

People need to get back to basics to understand why we have walls, Tarrifs, homes and those using Subversion to destroy our lifestyles.

Even the prehistoric caveman understood, by moving into caves, shelter protection and keeping others out. As man increased we brought in trade, barter to get goods and eventually Tarrifs. Tarrifs help protect our lifestyle our homes. We even take out insurance to protect our lifestyles to keep others out and protect our families, modesty.

Many countries today have some form of Tarrifs, stripping our protection allows other countries to make them wealthy by dumping goods into ones country making them wealthy and to slowly take over control of country by buying it up with the money you used to buy the inferior plastic goods. Even our food today is more plastic than ever before, no taste, hard as leather while making a few wealthy.

Just in Melbourne todays news been couple more stabbings. Probably related to Muslims or those brainwashed as our governments call it mental and fail to protect our borders.

And when it comes to Hong Kong, they are just out to protect themselves from a globalist communist country that buys many people outside. Hong Kong wants that wall to protect them from China. So much Subversion going on everywhere.

I fear that demonstrators are going too far. If they compelled China to send army, the special status of Hong Kong will be cancelled. Demonstrators of Tien Namen went to far and somewhat moderate Chinese politicians were purged.

So the Hong Kongers want freedom… whose flag do they wave and whose anthem do they sing? Canada’s? No. The UK’s? No… France’s? No… Germany’s? No… Italy’s? No… instead they raise a symbol of oppressive imperialism… aka the deplorable American flag… at least the flag Leftists tell us is a deplorable, oppressive symbol of imperialism that should be burned and demonstrated against by kneeling. This seems to counter that whole meme somewhat… no?

If American and its symbols, the flag and the anthem, are such an anathema to civil society, why are these Hong Kongers waving our flag and singing our anthem?

If American and its symbols, the flag and the anthem, are such an anathema to civil society, why are illegal alien invaders willingly entering our “concentration camps” to receive an oppressive dehumanizing experience?

Maybe the Leftists, who seem so fond of foreigners, ought to take a lesson from them about how precious our nation actually is… if these people in Hong Kong keep up their antics, the Chinese government will have to come in heavy handed… and they may pay for their fight with their life. And what they are fighting for is freedom like ours which includes freedom of speech, freedom of assembly and also the freedom to bear arms.
