Journalists Gérard Davet and Fabrice Lhomme, who published a survey on Islamization in Seine-Saint-Denis the northern suburb of Paris, talked about the troubled links between mayors and Islamists.
Faced with the rise of Islamism in their district, the mayors of Seine-Saint-Denis are not powerless.
Le Monde journalists Gérard Davet and Fabrice Lhomme published a book entitled “Inch’ Allah, Islamization in plain view”.
The vast majority of Muslims practice a moderate version of Islam, but there are Muslims who want a more rigorous Islam. Mayors have to deal with them and therefore accept a kind of religious clientelism. There is a slogan now in Seine-Saint-Denis: “one mosque, three mandates”. This is a way for a mayor to buy his electoral sustainability,” said Gérard Davet on Europe 1 radio channel.
A Salafist school in which girls must be veiled
It is a rather surprising book, not because the journalists bring revelations about what is happening in certain places in the Paris suburbs, including Seine-Saint-Denis, but because they found a publisher who accepted to publish it – it almost never happens anymore in France where book publishers are fierce watchdogs of political correctness and don’t accept to publish anything outside the scope of progressim.
And here they talk about the reality of a very rigid, very harsh (and even if they won’t say it, a very deadly) Islam.
One of the journalists visited a Salafist school:
Children are not allowed to play music, girls must be veiled, and faces have no human representation… These are quite strong things in France in 2018,” said cowriter Fabrice Lhomme.

Your contribution supports independent journalism
Please take a moment to consider this. Now, more than ever, people are reading Geller Report for news they won't get anywhere else. But advertising revenues have all but disappeared. Google Adsense is the online advertising monopoly and they have banned us. Social media giants like Facebook and Twitter have blocked and shadow-banned our accounts. But we won't put up a paywall. Because never has the free world needed independent journalism more.
Everyone who reads our reporting knows the Geller Report covers the news the media won't. We cannot do our ground-breaking report without your support. We must continue to report on the global jihad and the left's war on freedom. Our readers’ contributions make that possible.
Geller Report's independent, investigative journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we believe our work is critical in the fight for freedom and because it is your fight, too.
