Facebook Denies It Shadow Bans Users, But Now Has A Patent for Shadow Banning
For years, including in Congressional testimony earlier this year, Facebook executives have denied that the company shadow bans users. The practice involves flagging users and then hiding their posts from everyone but themselves, so that the user is not aware that others aren’t seeing his posts.

Story continues below advertisementConservatives and others claim that Facebook has often shadow banned them, but lacked any proof. Now they have some compelling evidence in the form of a patent the company just received in July, which it applied for in 2015.
From The New American:
… the company was awarded a patent by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) earlier this month for an automated system that would “receive a list of proscribed content and block comments containing the proscribed content by reducing the distribution of those comments to other viewing users” while continuing to “display the blocked content to the commenting user such that the commenting user is not made aware that his or her comment was blocked.” A better definition of shadow banning would be hard to write.
Facebook is sure to have a good explanation of what this means, and how the company uses the automated system for the greater good… at least, the greater good according to Facebook.

Hey, everyone….I just tried to post the following on BB and they have blocked it…..you tell me what got me blocked if you can.
[Chicago, Baltimore, other “gun controlled” cities…..this is what happens when you take weapons away from law-abiding citizens where they can’t shoot back.
It’s rare for these kinds of shootings where the citizens can have weapons…especially where there is open-carry.
And still the Left brays on and on about taking weapons away from good citizens and do nothing about the weapons of the criminal ones.
I feel like I’m living in bizzaro world].

Rusty…I tried fifty ways to Sunday to make an account on parler….nothing worked. They kept saying there were no “special characters” but I had more than one. after 20 minutes I had to give up.Maybe they are having technical problems. I’ll try again later.

Fakebook should be broken up and perhaps even destroyed. One other method would be that as many
as possible leaves fakebook and close their accounts. I never joined that “needy-inducing” club anyway.
