They had nothing to say about Muslim countries that are actually not democracies and are sham allies of the United States, such as Pakistan and Turkey.
Meanwhile, there is no doubt that Omar and Tlaib would have promoted the neo-Nazi Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement in Israel. These two vicious antisemites have repeatedly called for a boycott of the Jewish state. Why would Israel welcome them? They would spread Palestinian jihad propaganda. Israel is under no obligation to admit people who are dedicated to its destruction, and who would work to weaken the Jewish state.
Tlaib and Omar would have surely posted lies and blood libels about the Jewish state on social media, for the purpose of increasing the popularity of the BDS Movement in the United States. Such posts would also endanger pro-Israel American Jews, particularly on college campuses. Why should the Israeli government have allowed these two neo-Nazi thugs to slander Israel and the Jewish people? Nothing positive could have been achieved from such a propaganda trip.

Rep. Ilhan Omar: We give Israel more than $3 million in aid every year. This is predicated on them being an important ally in the region and (airquotes) “the only democracy” in the Middle East. But denying a visit to duly elected members of Congress is not consistent with being an ally and denying millions of people freedom of movement, or expression or self determination is not consistent with being a democracy. We must be asking as Israel’s ally the Netanyahu government stop the expansion of settlements on Palestinian land and ensure full rights to Palestinians if we are to give them aid. These are not just my views.

It’s $3 billion and 85% of it goes to pay for US military equipment, so it’s not like Israel pockets the money, it’s spent on America for Israel’s defense and I think it’s a great idea.
Also Israel’s GDP is about $380 billion so they can certainly live without the aid if it was cut, but that’ll only hurt US jobs and interests.

It’s true, Israel ISN’T an alley of America. The US has accused Israel of ‘alarming, even terrifying’ levels of spying. Their spying is even more shocking given the extent of America’s generosity towards Israel. By all accounts, Israel has received roughly $252.7 billion as of March of last year in direct military aid (among many other benefits) from the U.S. over the last six decades. Israel has been trying to steal secrets from the US, its principal protector, and benefactor, ever since the inception of the Jewish state in 1948, and even before. Also, Israel has committed false flag attacks against America (e.g. The Lavon Affair, the attack on the USS Liberty, etc…). Thousands of Americans have died needlessly fighting wars for Israel. It’s true, Israel ISN’T a democracy. Israel is actually a nuclear rogue apartheid state whose so-called democracy only applies if you’re a Zionist Jew. Honestly I think this is an important learning moment for the nation to see how Muslims think esp about Israel.
The more their antisemitism shows the better for the opponents of Islam. It’s also great that Trump keeps bashing the ‘Squad’ egging them on to reveal their hate for the US and Israel even more.

And, finally, since there is no such country today, what caused its demise and when did it occur?
There are no Palestinians, only Arabs.

Ot maybe they are following Goebbels’ dictum that if you tell a lie often enough people will believe it. It worked for Goebbels but he had complete control of the media of the day (newsprint and radio) and nobody was able to contradict him. In fact they are using Nazi lies quite blatantly.
