There is never any shortage of useful idiots, and Australian Justice Peter Johnson has just joined the long line. Australia’s 9 News reported Friday that Bourhan Hraichie, a hardline and unrepentant Islamic jihadist who plotted to kill cops and carved an Islamic State slogan on another prisoner’s forehead, “cheered as he was sentenced in the NSW Supreme Court. He interjected at various points, including when Justice Peter Johnson said his beliefs were based on a ‘distorted understanding of Islam.’”
Here was Peter Johnson, a non-Muslim, telling a man who had dedicated his life to understanding Islamic teachings properly and living them out scrupulously that he was getting Islam all wrong, terribly wrong. And why? Not because he knows of some Islamic texts or principles that Hraichie is ignoring, but because the implications of the possibility that Hraichie might be applying Islamic texts as they were intended to be applied is too terrible for him to contemplate.
Peter Johnson is the latest in a long line of judges who have lectured Islamic jihadis about how they’re misunderstanding their peaceful, cuddly religion. Peter Johnson, of course, doesn’t know the first foggiest thing about Islam, but he thinks he does, because many people he trusts and respects have assured him that it’s a Religion of Peace, and he has also been taught that the only people who think otherwise are racist, bigoted “Islamophobes.” Bourhan Hraichie is no racist, bigoted “Islamophobe,” but clearly the poor lamb has been improperly instructed in his religion. If only Peter Johnson had been there in the mosque to teach him the true Islam.
The most notorious case of a non-Muslim judge censuring a jihadi for transgressing the tenets of a religion the judge knows nothing about came back in 2013, when two Muslims, Mujaahid Abu Hamza and Ismail ibn Abdullah, aka Michael Adebolajo and Michael Adebowale, killed British soldier Lee Rigby in broad daylight on a London street, and explained why they did it: “We are forced by the Qur’an, in Sura At-Tawba [the Qur’an’s ninth chapter, which contains its clearest commands to wage jihad against unbelievers], through many ayah [verses] in the Qu’ran, we must fight them as they fight us. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.”

In response, Justice Nigel Sweeney told them: “You each converted to Islam some years ago. Thereafter you were radicalised and each became an extremist, espousing views which, as has been said elsewhere, are a betrayal of Islam.” This enraged them, and they began a fight in the courtroom. It would have been interesting to have seen Mufti Sweeney explain what exactly was a betrayal of Islam in their actions, but he didn’t, because he couldn’t.
The Qur’an says, “Fight in the way of Allah those who fight you but do not transgress. Indeed. Allah does not like transgressors” (2:190). That “do not transgress” has often been interpreted by Islamic scholars as meaning, do not begin hostilities. I.e., this verse is a foundation for defensive jihad. But in this case, as the killer himself made clear, he believed that the soldier was fighting Muslims in Islamic lands — Iraq and Afghanistan. So the soldier was already fighting Muslims, and the killer would have thought that he was not “transgressing” by therefore fighting “in the way of Allah those who fight you” — i.e., the Muslims.
And how is one to fight them? “And kill them wherever you overtake them and expel them from wherever they have expelled you, and fitnah is worse than killing. And do not fight them at al-Masjid al- Haram until they fight you there. But if they fight you, then kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers” (2:191). “Kill them wherever you overtake them” — even on, say, a street in Woolwich.
Until authorities all over the free world come to grips with the fact that there is ample Islamic justification for such murders, and stop playing games with their Let’s Play Pretend version of Islam, there will be many more such killings.
As for Johnson and Sweeney, Bob Dylan characterized them most precisely: “False hearted judges dyin’ in the webs that they spin/Only a matter of time til night comes steppin’ in.” Indeed, and it will come steppin’ in thanks to Johnson, Sweeney, and the multitude of other authorities all over the West who hold the same assumptions.

What arrogance from these judges! They’re supposed to be able to do research to come to informed decisions but are too busy imposing their ill informed personal opinions. Maybe they could stop pontificating and just follow our written laws, too much to ask I suppose..,

It’s hilarious. The Infidel judge tells the Jihadist that he is political incorrect.He refuses to see reality when the club if reality is swung at his head.

The adults in the room “get” Islam.
That includes communist China, first and foremost, and the countries of the former Soviet bloc.
Russia, of course, also gets it. Italy and Greece as well.
We can only hope that the soft, feminized West wakes up in time, but for Britain, France, Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Norway and Sweden, the jury is out.
Sweden, in particular, looks finished already.

The PRC are right bastards. They enabled the muslum genocide of upwards of 2.5 million Hindus in Bangladesh in the 1970’s when they threatened direct military action against India unless they withdrew their military forces from Bangladesh. Then there’s the fact they’re building a gigantic international port of call in Pakistain w/financing from Soddy Barbaria. Communists are no less totalitarians than f’ing muslums.

Also, I doubt that the Islamic threat is being “facilitated,” and I suspect there is no evidence to support such an assertion.

Um by enabling the genocide of 2.5 million Hindus in Bangladesh the PRC definitively WAS enabling the islamic threat. If the f’ing PRC interferes w/the rights of Hindus to defend themselves against the f’ing muslums again I hope India employs a nuclear strike against the f’ing ChiCom pigs.

I can only wonder about the future of nations lead by people of such colossal ignorance. And in his case, I suspect it is ignorance, coupled with a determined desire not to learn. After all, if he did, he might feel the need to act differently, perhaps even at the risk of his standing in society.
By the way, my opinion of this judge is in marked contrast to my estimation of Obama and his ilk- they are aware, and they welcome the change in America that Moslems bring.

This judge typifies Britain’s judiciary’s ignorance of Islam. His pontificating to this Jihadi, likely, encouraged him to continue on his mission, murdering, maiming or raping as many non-Muslims possible. The judge’s spewing such nonsense, and ignorant rhetoric that Islam is the religion of peace validates that Britain’s judiciary is flaccid and ignorant. One certainty is, it plays into the hands of Islam’s barbarous and nihilistic tenets.
Nor is it purely Britain’s judiciary that is guilty of sticking one’s head up one’s favorite orifice; it is, unfortunately, occurring in every Western nation.

I studied Law in England and at the Inns of Court we got a serious kick out of the wig-thang. Esp. with the lady jurists!
They all have to wear them “if called to the Bar” and between-times carry them in these see-through plastic cases. Then they look totally extreme esp. on Black female lawyers.
I wish I’d gotten my picture taken with one of those wigs on my head. Somehow I never thought to ask anyone at the time.

The judge is a terrific example of what lieberalism does to your mind. You become BLIND to what is right and wrong. Morals become relative meaning you interpret the way you see it and it usually is WRONG.

Pamela Geller, Robert Spencer, and many others are fighting 24/7 to help people understand the true teachings and history of Islam. This is a mission of existential importance to our survival and Islam’s supporters, aiders and abetters, paid acolytes and sycophants are determined to silence them. Imagine if this judge understood the truth about Islam, he would have condemned this jihadist for being Muslim and not falsely as a Muslim who had lost his way. Once people realize that Islam is totally incompatible with western civilization I am confident they will join the fight to push it out of our society. We need to do whatever is possible to aid this fight for truth by recruiting others, dispersing information, and when possible helping out with the financial burden.
