Video of Moroccan woman’s bruises after alleged beating by husband ignites outrage

Social media users in Morocco expressed fury after a video emerged of a woman with large bruises on her body who described being beaten by her husband.
The woman’s eyes appeared heavily swollen and she had deep purple bruises on her thigh and torso, as seen in a video posted on Facebook on July 7. It has since been viewed nearly 850,000 times.
The woman said her husband attacked her after she questioned his late return home. “I asked him, ‘Why are you coming home late?’ He answered, ‘Why does it matter to you?’ And he beat me,” she explained in the video, filmed by a passer-by.
The woman said she went to the police but was rebuffed. “They didn’t even let me in,” she said. “My husband also took the children from me.”
Online users, outraged at the violence the woman had been subjected to, demanded a response from authorities.
The two Facebook users who posted the video did not respond to a request for comment.
Local police opened an investigation and said the woman had in fact met with officers and filed a complaint, the Moroccan newspaper Tel Quel reported.
More than half of women in Morocco say they have been victims of violence, according to a May report from the Ministry of Family, Solidarity, Equality and Development.
In September, Morocco criminalized sexual harassment and toughened sentencing for perpetrators of domestic violence. But activists criticized the law for not going far enough to protect women.

I don’t feel sorry for her because in spite of this, she’ll be the first to scream Islamophobia when anyone criticizes Islam and she’ll lecture us about how peaceful Islam is and that this had nothing, I repeat, NOTHING to do with Islam, just like Malala, oh yeah, Free Palestine, bla bla bla.
I suppose you’re right, it’s almost like crying for Ilse Koch. For allah I know this wench would be applauding her fellow muslums beheading me and many other people here on gellerreport for daring to criticise her death cult or her holey, pedophile, prophet for profit.
Yes it’s harsh but you’re right to an extent. If Muslim women died off, these monkeys couldn’t spread their seed and create more rapists/terrorists like themselves. I’m against all cruelty but Islam needs to be ended one way or another.
What bothers me is that although we live in an information-rich age, where knowledge is a keystroke away, the vast majority of people are too damn lazy to research Islam so they end up foolishly defending Muslims without even knowing what their beliefs are.
The cops do nothing for them because under Sharia women are lower than dogs and men can rape, beat, torture and murder them. This is the sad reality for a girl and woman’s life under this barbaric and brutal ideology.
Their only hope is if the West finally wakes up and either bombs them to oblivion or viciously wipes out all the evil people in this cult and gives them real freedom and secular-democracy like ours.
There are many Muslims having visions of “The Man in White” in Islamic countries! Jesus is no respecter of persons, and died for all who would believe and accept His sacrifice for sin! Until then, they are poor, ignorant human beings with no hope, and many die that way! Sad! Of course, we must protect the West and keep their ideology out, but as we can see, they are here! Thanks mostly to our own enemies from within, who protect them!

My heart breaks for her and other women who know no other way of life than that under the demonic oppression of Islam!! I worry, now that the man has probably seen or heard of this video, will he find her and kill her for dishonoring him? I don’t like those who come to the US bringing their lifestyles and imposing them on us, but in their countries, we have to feel a semblance of pity and sympathy for their ignorance, or we are no better than they are! God, Jesus, is no respecter of persons, and died for all who would believe on Him!

Men of all races and creeds, beat defenseless women. It’s cruel and inhumane. A percentage of women are beaten to death by a spouse or boyfriend. Islam is the only religion I know of that sanctions it.
Here’s an article from the Huffington Post (I know, Huff is leftest but got this right):

It’s when the woman is continually publicly and secretly ridiculed and insulted. She can never do or say anything right. It is to the point that she herself comes to believe that she is too stupid to be tolerated, hideous to look at, and has no skills for even the most menial of tasks. This makes her terrified to leave as she is convinced she is incapable of surviving on her own. She is also under constant fear of physical abuse.
OMG, this is so sickening. And if Ms. Geller didn’t cover this news, we would not be aware. I ask Almighty God, is this right? That this helpless woman should be so abused and tortured?
If this does not bring one to tears, then humanity has left your soul.
God will condemn the world for not speaking out against this abuse. Furthermore, he took her children? No woman deserves this pain and suffering.
