“Palestinian” Authority: Pilgrims’ Road is ours

11

Of course. There is nothing that the neo-Nazi Palestinian Authority will not try to steal from Israel. There is also no lie that they will not tell in order to delegitimize Israel and the Jewish people. There is perhaps not a more evil group of people then those in the Palestinian Authority.

This is typical of Islamic mores. Muhammad said “war is deceit.” The Quran has false info about Judaism and Christianity “The Jews say Ezra is the Son of God” 9:30. And the Christian Trinity is Allah, Jesus and Mary – 5:116,

“The discovery of the stairs answers the question of how the hundreds of thousands of pilgrims went from the Pool of Shiloah which they used as a mikveh (ritual bath) for purification to the Temple Mount,” Orenstein explained. “These are the actual stones that our ancestors walked on to arrive at the Temple on the Temple Mount. Alongside the road are the remains of shops used by these pilgrims before walking up the road to the Temple.” (BIN)

“These findings show that the connection between the Jewish people and the ancient City of Jerusalem is a matter of fact and not a matter of faith,”

In 2004, a water pipe burst burst in the middle of the neighborhood of Silwan in southeast Jerusalem. The municipality sent in a crew of construction workers to fix the leak, and as is the case in Jerusalem and especially in neighborhoods adjacent to the Old City, they were accompanied by a team of archeologists.

As the repairs progressed, the construction workers stumbled upon some long and wide stairs a few dozen meters from where the Shiloah – the ancient pool Jewish pilgrims would dip in before beginning the religious ascent to the Temple, until its destruction in 70 CE – was believed to have once stood. The steps were just like the ones that lead to the Hulda Gates, a set of now blocked entrances along the Temple Mount’s Southern Wall.

Discovery of the Shiloah Pool led to another monumental find – the central water drainage channel that had served ancient Jerusalem. This channel is the tunnel that visitors to the City of David – known as Ir David – get to walk through today, starting at the bottom of the Shiloah and emerging about 45 minutes later next to the Western Wall.

As is often the case with archeology, though, the first discovery or two are just the beginning. That is how a few weeks ago I found myself on an exclusive tour of an ancient road dug out beneath the village of Silwan and above the now well-known water channel (also the place where Jewish rebels made a final stand against the Roman invaders).

US AMBASSADOR DAVID FRIEDMAN: “IT IS OUT UNIQUE PRIVILRGE AS AMERICANS TO WALK TOGETHER WITH OUR ISRAELI COUNTERPARTS ON THE JUST UNVEILED PILGRIMAGE ROAD, WHERE OUR SHARED ANCESTORS ASCENDED THE FLAGSTON STEPS IN PRAYER AND BLESSING”

CITY OF DAVID, JERUSALEM (30/6/2019) Senior American and Israeli officials attended the inauguration of the ancient Pilgrimage Road, which served as the main thoroughfare for pilgrims walking from the Pool of Siloam, where they would ritually purify themselves on route to the Temple, during the Second Temple Period. The event comes after six years of painstaking archeological excavations by the Israel Antiquities Authority.

The list of officials in attendance from Israel and abroad included: US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman, US Special Representative for International Negotiations Jason Greenblatt, The Prime Minister’s Wife Mrs Sara Netanyahu, Minister Minister of Jerusalem Affairs Zev Elkin, Minister of Education Rafi Peretz, Minister of Transportation Betzalel Smotrich, Minister of Agriculture Uri Ariel, Minister of Interior Aryeh Deri, Israel’s Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon, Israel Antiquities Authority Director Israel Hasson, Director General of the Nature and Parks Authority Shaul Goldstein, Israel Prize Laureate and Director of the City of David Foundation David (Davidle) Beeri.

After six years of extensive archaeological excavations led by the Israel Antiquities Authority, a 350-meter-long section of the Pilgrimage Road was unveiled at a festive ceremony in the City of David. The project was funded by the City of David Foundation who plan to open up the site to the general public in the near future.

Archeological discoveries and extensive research were presented for the first time, demonstrating that contrary to what was once believed, the residents of the City of David or what Josephus referred to as Lower Jerusalem from the Second Temple period were quite affluent.

PA: Pilgrims’ Road is ours

PA’s “religious endowments ministry” claims Israeli officials desecrated holy sites of Islam in 90 incidents this past month.

Israel National News, July 8, 2019:

The Palestinian Authority’s (PA) “ministry of religious endowments and religious affairs” published its monthly report on the holy sites of Islam.

According to the document, there were about 90 “attacks” on holy sites in the past month, 25 of which were directed against the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

“Settlers broke into Islamic holy sites in Salfit and held Jewish rituals there, the special forces of the police, the Border Police and [Israeli] Intelligence broke into the school of the Islamic orphanage in the Old City of Jerusalem and settlers took over a shop in the Old City of Hevron,” the report claims.

Husam Abu al-Rab, director of the PA’s “endowments ministry”, claimed that the “Israeli activity seeks to change the character of the Old City of Jerusalem, especially the Al-Aqsa Mosque.”

In this context, he mentioned the inauguration of the Pilgrims’ Road, which he called “a theft of Islamic heritage and history.”

The 2,000-year-old Pilgrims’ Road is an ancient used by pilgrims during the Second Temple period to bring sacrifices to the Temple. It was unveiled in a special ceremony last week which was attended by US officials, a fact which angered the PA.

PLO Secretary-General Saeb Erekat launched an unprecedented personal attack on US ambassador to Israel David Friedman and Middle East envoy Jason Greenblatt for taking part in the unveiling, accusing them of promoting “racist colonial” interests.

He was particularly angry at Friedman, saying he is “not a US ambassador”, but rather, “an extremist Israeli settler”.

Again, we must consider the source of the comments of the
PA. The Arab/mentality, as expressed by the PA and those here in the states that
are of Muslim persuasion, most always be taken with a ‘grain of salt.’ They are
unmitigated liars who take liberty with the truth. Based on their dominating
political belief system, which they call Islam, they must always claim anything
and everything theirs, and that includes biblical or ancient sites which
pre-date their own purported prophet. Right and reasonable thinking people must
come to expect this foolish rhetoric from these very frustrated people, and
come to the conclusion that their false claims are all intended to bring about
the sanctions they would like to impose on Israel thru BDS. Fortunately, Israel
is prospering and we should expect that Israel will soon choose its rightful
and protectable borders, once again to the chagrin of the Arabs who simply do
not understand how tolerance is in their personal best interests. They will
suffer the consequences of their own stupidity.

Agree. Trump was conned by Abbas initially but when he found out the truth boy was he mad as hell at the jihadi http://bit.ly/2rOmfyJ

That’s when he decided enough is enough and that inspite of huge opposition led to shifting of Embassy to Jerusalem and No more funding to the jihadis.

Islam is NOT a dominating belief system. It is inferior to all other belief systems. It kills, steals and destroys, how is that “dominating”?

Just wait until later this year after the PA has rejected the 60 Billion and Trump recognizes Israel’s annexation of Judea and Samaria. They will react violently and then be carted off to Jordan, Egypt and Iraq who will happily take the 60 Billion to settle the “Palestinians.” in a new Muslim paradise
