Race baiting CNN accuses Trump of racism for telling the truth about Elijah Cummings

President Trump is not attacking Rep. Cummings because of the color of his skin. President Trump is attacking Rep. Cumming because of his incompetence, and rightfully so. Rep. Cummings represents Maryland’s 7th Congressional (Baltimore) District. One of the most impoverished and dangerous districts in the United States.

Baltimore is consistently listed as one of the most rat-infested cities in the country. Baltimore’s poverty rate is close to 25 percent. In 2018, Baltimore had 309 homicides. A staggering figure for a city of just over 600,000. The FBI rated Baltimore as the third most dangerous city in the United States for 2018. In addition, Baltimore’s schools and infrastructure are considered to be among the worst in the United States as well. Baltimore is a total disaster by any standard.

Instead of working with President Trump to fix his dilapidated district, Cummings has instead focused his attention on attacking President Trump, as well as boarder patrol officers who are working hundreds of miles away from his district. Ridiculous.

CNN is doing a huge disservice to the people of Maryland’s 7th district, by falsely accusing Trump of racism for exposing Cummings’ neglect of his district. CNN is also saying that any person of color should be exempt from criticism, even if they deserve it. It is “reporting” like this that has made CNN a laughing stock, and a total ratings disaster. Few are watching your news network Jeff Zucker.

Trump attacks another African American lawmaker, and calls Baltimore a ‘disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess’

By Veronica Stracqualursi, CNN, July 27, 2019:

President Donald Trump attacked another prominent African American lawmaker on Saturday, tweeting that his Baltimore district is a “disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess.”

Trump’s morning tirade against Democratic Rep. Elijah Cummings, chairman of the House Oversight Committee, is the latest verbal assault against a minority member of Congress who is a frequent critic of the President. Two weekends ago, Trump — in racist language that was later condemned by a House resolution — told four progressive Democratic congresswomen of color to “go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came.” Three of the four were born in the US, and the fourth is a naturalized US citizen.
Trump attacked Cummings, 68, who is originally from Baltimore and represents Maryland’s 7th Congressional District, for erupting at acting Homeland Security Secretary Kevin McAleenan over border conditions during a congressional hearing on July 18. Cummings’ committee has also launched a number of investigations into the Trump administration related to Trump’s finances and White House practices, including security clearances and Hatch Act violations.
