At least five protesters and three police officers were treated by medics for injuries during the protests, and three people were taken to hospital after being attacked by leftists with weapons. Only three ANTIFA terrorists were arrested.
Police stood by and watched. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) called on federal law enforcement to bring legal action against Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler for ordering the police to let the citizens be attacked.

Violence erupted in Portland, Oregon over the weekend as Antifa terrorists physically assaulted conservatives while police stood by and watched.
The corrupt Antifa-supporting Mayor Ted Wheeler, who also serves as the police commissioner, has given stand down order to the police — where is the DOJ on this?
Reporter Andy Ngo, a gay Asian man, was brutally beaten and hit with a ‘milkshake’ concoction that contained quick-drying cement.
Another man named Adam Kelly was beaten with a metal rod or nunchucks by Antifa and was left with large bloody gashes on his head.
Adam Kelly was taken to the hospital where doctors stapled his head shut after the Antifa terrorist tried to kill him.

Spot on, James. Still, most who should know better run away from those verses, “as it was …”. No sermons because half the churchgoers would avoid attending church the following week.

The churches are in such a sad state. Many have fully embraced the cosmopolitan thinking that is rampant in society today, claiming that the Bible needs to adopt progressive ideology, and as has been pointed out, it has resulted in fewer, not more, attendees. They have become the “blind leading the blind, and both will fall into a ditch” of Math.15:14. Scripture (Romans 1:18-20) clearly states that God expects even those far from Him should know the difference between right and wrong, much less those who claim to represent Him.
There is a woman historian that has apparently studied past civilizations (I first saw her on a Paul Joseph Watson YouTube segment), and she claims that the same characteristics appear in all of them prior to their collapse. None of these past civilizations were Judeo/Christian based, but the same pattern of progressive sexual deterioration (Romans 1:21-32) we see today, preceded their end, as though it was like a contagion afflicting the social fabric.
The apostasy that has swept the West for decades now and the refusal to heed the calls of repentance, have brought us to this point, and the evidence of God’s progressive judgement having already begun, is abundantly clear for all who willing to look – an amazing time to be living indeed.

Ziggy, I used to be so torn with emotions upon the realization of God’s prophetic agenda and what it portends for the very near future. Knowing what it took for Him to save me and weighing that against the rapidly approaching inflection point of all time for this age of man, used to bring with the natural spiritual burden for the lost, a sense of desperation for them that robbed me too often of the joy that I also felt at the knowing of His imminent return. Now, more and more, I allow myself to embrace that joy as it revives and fills me.
I will not stop actively praying for opportunities to share and spread His message, and am grateful for the ones He opens to me. It is a shared burden we carry as Christians ; it is on us to share the gospel but it is ultimately the Holy Spirit and the individual that respond one to the other for “belief” to take root. May His Spirit be upon you and all your thirsts be filled.

Well said, James; I hold a weighted empathy for those denying G-d’s existence. Personally, my failures, the times I turned away from God, mostly momentarily, caution me that I can not go through life alone, singularly taking life under my lone guidance. I am somewhat a recluse who often reflects on the miracle of life, not merely on this planet but the expansive heavens. None of this is the consequence of chance but something much greater than humanity, G-d.
Regarding God’s prophetic agenda of which I have never held doubt, nor do I at this moment in time. As I have mentioned, I am not the most Bible literate on this planet; however, my faith, deeply rooted. I have failed and succeeded on life’s path, but an essential element of life’s success is faith, without it I, like others, would be no more than a shell devoid of all that separates the human species from other species. Well said; it is, indeed, at America’s door, Mark. I don’t know if it was a dream, but I heard that Boston approved a ‘Straight Pride’ Parade. It has ruffled the feathers, sequins, and eye-line of the Gay community and activists. I have heard nothing else but had always wondered what the response would be if such an event were held to celebrate one’s straightness.
I do not give a mighty toss what one’s sexual priority is gay or whatever; however, the politicized and the subsequent indoctrination of our younger generation weighs heavily on me. If one is straight, the Left deems white males as one of the privileged, which in itself is unequivocally a fabrication or fake-news.
The Democrats and their godless disciples deem the Constitution as superfluous; they deem morality, any sense of Judeo-Christian principles from the same jaundiced perspective. As you mentioned, Mark, judgment is coming.

This was done/allowed to create fear, as a tactic, hoping to intimidate those on the right into silence. “They” want you silenced on social media, “they” lie/deceive you with the MSM, and “they” want your presence at gatherings, presentations and speeches “silenced” by their violence and bullying.
To be encouraged by praise from the media, or to be minimally dealt with by authorities, will of course only fuel their derangement and further the violence, but to engage them at their level, as tempting as that is, must come with the understanding that it will not calm the situation ; it will only escalate it. It is inevitable that given this recent ramping up, violence will escalate and only a heavy handed civilian force approach will have any chance of stifling the contagion.

You are 100% right that getting involved in local politics is the single most effective way conservative people can change things. Both major parties are infested with some degree of corruption. Democrats are usually worse, and Democrat voters in general tend to be much less well informed and more likely to believe the leftist dominated social media.
God has already spoken to some people in certain cities to get out of the way from things He will let happen. There are people who have already moved because they were sensitive to listening to His direction. What He tells me is going to be different from what He tells other people as He sees our individual location and purpose. Some cities are already marked for judgment and are on limited time. Only God knows where there will be no real repentance and judgment is certain. In those cases He may well get His own family out of harm’s way and into a place where they can serve Kingdom purposes.

Criminal and civil penalties, lawsuits should ensue because of this: Not only the actual culprit but the mayor and others who’re complicit and in collusion with the commission of these crimes-as law enforcement was ordered, by them, to ‘stand down’ and not ‘serve and protect’ the people and restore ‘law and order’ as they’re paid to do.

The federal government should designate Antifa a terrorist organization and take the necessary steps to eradicate its leadership, its sponsors and every single member. If the police continue to fail in their duties and continue to let Antifa commit violent acts unchecked there will come a day where their violence will be met head on with overwhelming force from the current peaceful citizenry because they will have no option but to protect themselves.

Remember the Parkland, FL cop that stood down? He was convicted of dereliction. Hopefully, some folks in Portland will be next.
