Omar Questions the Patriotism of American-Born Citizens

Story continues below advertisementFreshman Rep. Ilhan Omar (D., Minn.) on Saturday questioned the patriotism of American-born citizens, claiming she “probably love[s] this country more than anyone who is naturally born” in the United States.
Omar participated in a foreign policy panel at the liberal Netroots Nation conference in Philadelphia when she made her comment. Omar began her remarks by making light of her past anti-Semitic comments and the backlash that has resulted from them.
“Something that I get criticized for all the time. It’s not what you think, so don’t gasp,” Omar said, prompting laughter from the panel and audience.
“It is that I am anti-American because I criticize the United States,” Omar said. “I believe, as an immigrant, I probably love this country more than anyone that is naturally born and because I am ashamed of it continuing to live in its hypocrisy.”
She went on to talk about how people ask her why she can’t be “more like an American,” noting how it “used to be a very positive thing.”
“We export American exceptionalism, the great America, the land of liberty and justice. If you ask anybody walking on the side of the street somewhere in the middle of the world they will tell you, ‘America the great,’ but we don’t live those values here. That hypocrisy is one that I am bothered by. I want America the great to be America the great.
Omar is the first Somali-American elected to Congress. She arrived in the United States when she was 12-years-old after she fled Somalia during a civil war for a Kenyan refugee camp with her family.

This woman and those like her need to be recognized for what
they are and what they represent. Our political leaders and most of the media
refuse to see these people for what they truly are. They, themselves, are the hypocrites.
Hypocrisy is defined as: as a practiceof claiming to have moral standards or beliefs, to which one’s own behavior
does not conform, while concealing one’s real character and inclinations, a
pretense. This woman and people like her claim whenever anyone criticizes them that
those people who willingly speak out are racists and bigots, though I would
urge that it is these women who are the true racists/bigots. Yet, the paramount
truth is that this woman and those like her have adopted a belief system
(Islam) that actively promotes racism and bigotry, and to pretend that their
belief system is one of peace and tolerance, when the facts establish clearly
that is not the case, is the height of hypocrisy. If anyone is a hypocrite it’s
these women. Until they reject theconcepts of domination (a kind of aryanism), which leads these believers to
intolerance, which is the very essence of their belief system, their kind must
be rejected and recognized as a clear and present danger to our free world
societies.

Ilhan Omar (D-Mogadishu) has been strangely silent about her fellow Somalians back in the homeland that just went on a spree that killed 28 and wounded 58. When the events that inspired the movie “Black Hawk Down” occurred, she was quick to spout off (shocker !!) and blame the country she claims to now love more than American-born citizens. She should join her husband/brother in Kenya where he now lives….

I’m told Detroit has not has a Republican mayor since 1961. I think it was Cavanagh(1962-1970) that promised them everything. He helped drive the last white Detroiters out.The problem is not the Democrats in this case, but the Republican Party in Michigan. I heard a Black Pastor speak at an event after the 2018 primary. He said he could have won his district if the GOP had given him some money. They did not. A person from the Michigan Campaign Finance Network recently said that GOP actually helped elect some Democrats in 2018. They killed off a great candidate, Senator Pat Colbeck, for governor as well. That guy is actually a “rocket scientist.”
