No sharing: Ilhan Omar says AOC ‘squad’ is ‘trying to grab’ power from leadership

Members of New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s “squad” defended their colleague amid a rift with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, without mentioning the top Democrat by name.
“Every single person in Congress has a role. Our role is to take our votes and leadership’s role is to wrangle votes,” Rep. Ilhan Omar, a Democrat from Minnesota, said Saturday at Netroots Nation, an annual conference for liberal activists.

“There’s a constant struggle oftentimes with people who have power about sharing that power. We are not really in the business of asking for the share of that power. We’re in the business of trying to grab that power,” she said.
Rep. Ayanna Pressley, a Democrat from Massachusetts, said, “the people closest to the pain should be the closest to the power” and she’s not focused on “palace intrigue.”
“You have to be unapologetically you,” said Rep. Rashida Tlaib, a Democrat from Michigan.
Ocasio-Cortez called Pelosi “outright disrespectful” and accused her of targeting freshman congresswomen of color after the speaker said the group “didn’t have any following. They’re four people, and that’s how many votes they got.”
Some attendees of a liberal conference booed at least twice when Pelosi’s name was mentioned on Friday.

AOC, a well-known colored congresswomen,has been highly disrespectful of others, including Holocaust victims and people testifying before Congress. Strangely enough, that doesn’t stop her from being the first to whine about being “disrespected”.

Thank you for your frankness. You come from a tribe, and wear an ideology on your head, that is all about power over people. The concept of a loyal opposition is utterly foreign to you, as are the ways of representative democracy, of an independent judiciary, and even government of the people, by the people, and for the people. Indeed, equal justice and liberty for all is an alien notion to you. Yours is a “winner take all” philosophy that has been a fundamental part of Islam from its inception.

I have said many times that immigrants should not be allowed to hold possisions of power in the country they elect to live in when they leave their own, because as you can see here, they have there own agenda in play, not the interest of the country or its people, the same in the UK with muslims demanding halal meat for all in schools and sharia law. I have also said many times if the country you choose to live in does not provide what you feel you need, or you feel you need to change that country or abuse the indigenous people in that country, then the country is not for you, time to move on.
