ISIS is poised for a ‘devastating’ comeback with the help of secret billions and sleeper cells, new report warns
- The Institute for the Study of War published a report about a possible resurgence
- ISIS has reportedly been regrouping in Iraq since its defeat in Syria this year
- There are several sleeper cells and billions of pounds at the group’s disposal

ISIS could be set for a ‘devastating’ comeback despite its defeat earlier this year – a bombshell study has revealed.
Story continues below advertisementUS-based think tank the Institute for the Study of War published a report suggesting the caliphate is alive and well and is set to re-emerge imminently with deadly consequences.
According to the report, ISIS still maintains several sleeper cells and has accrued billions of pounds worth of funding which has allowed it to remain a threat.

‘The slow-motion reduction of ISIS territory and strength initiated by President Obama and continued by President Trump gave the group plenty of time to plan and prepare for the next phase of the war,’ the report states.
‘Its forces are now dispersed across both countries and are waging a capable insurgency.
‘Its successful reconstitution of a physical caliphate in Iraq and Syria would produce new waves of attacks in Europe and dangerously legitimise ISIS’s narrative of inevitable long-term victory.’
The jihadi group was officially wiped out in Syria earlier this year, but its leaders and soldiers are now spread across the Middle East.
According to the report, ISIS has a ‘global finance network that funded its transition back to an insurgency’ and it still retains potent weapons.
Leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, long thought to have been killed in a US drone strike, has reportedly been reforming the group for a new wave of violence.

The study states that ISIS now controls vast amounts of rural land in Iraq and has replaced local leaders with its own representatives who are collecting tax to fund its war.
The report continues: ‘ISIS has systematically eliminated village leaders and civilians who cooperated with anti-IS forces.
‘It has reimposed taxes on local populations in its historical support zones, displacing civilians and de facto controlling small pockets of terrain in Iraq.’
It also suggests President Donald Trump was wrong to announce the territorial defeat of ISIS.
It calls on the US to take ‘immediate steps’ to quell the death cult’s resurgence in both Iraq and Syria.

Unfortunately, with the Islamic State, there is a virtually limitless pool of volunteers ready to lay their lives down for a false god. Reconstitution of an apparently defeated foe has become no problem. They will soon go after someone incapable of self-defense.
The President needs to better understand the nature of jihad in order to claim a job is done. As Pamela said – they never left.

The report contained a key insight:
The slow-motion reduction of ISIS territory and strength initiated by President Obama and continued by President Trump gave the group plenty of time to plan and prepare for the next phase of the war,
The alternative- of a fast-paced, probably US lead, operation- would have been preferable, but would have been difficult to achieve under the circumstances. Politically, such a “desert storm” would have incurred many more civilian casualties in the short run and would have galvanized opposition to the effort. Just another example of where being cautious- and seeking to minimize civilian casualties- may not be the optimal strategy.

If Trump is smart enough , he should pass E.O to ban all terror/crime/illegal/drug linked persons from coming to America and those who advocate for them should lose their assets/citizenship and deported/jailed as terror agents.
Unless this is done there will be never ending cases . And America will become like canada/EU

They never left and they dwell among us living peacefully while planning to cut our throats when the first opportunity arises. ISIS and ALL Islam is cancer that is in partial remission waiting for an opportunity, a propitious moment to strike. They await the election of a Biden, Harris, Sanders who they know will quake in their boots once they strike, and when they do it will dwarf 9/11. It will be designed to frighten us into submission.

All of the markets as well as the businesses in this country as well as the rest of the globe who ascribe to ‘ halal ‘ certification need to thoroughly investigate just where all of that money goes – a significant portion goes to spreading the disease of islam thru out the rest of the non-muslim world .. All of these retailers that believe its the same as ” kosher ” certification – are SADLY being duped – The list of AMERICAN retailers that have signed onto this is very scary –
